Chalcanthite was on patrol once more, making his way around the city and draining people to meet his quota. His arm was now healed and his pride was in better standing as well. Perhaps he might bump into something interesting tonight to separate each of the mechanical motions he felt he was going through this evening in particular. He could not get certain things off his mind as it was the anniversary of his great grandfather's death. He stopped for a break and sat above the Starbucks, pulling out his electronic cigarette and taking a long drag from it before blowing large O's out into the night sky. He blew smaller ones through the larger ones for fun as he leaned back and looked up at the night sky. Many things had changed since his great grandfather had passed away. It was then he sensed an aura somewhat like his own but stronger in a way. Perhaps it was a general or someone like Lellouch, a corrupt senshi. Either way he straightened himself up and awaited their arrive since they seemed to be on a direct path with his current location.

Persephone was not having a lot of success on patrol tonight, and so she had, instead, decided to stop off at the same mom-and-pop donut shop she did on other slow nights and pick up a box. They'd gotten to recognize her as Persephone, not that she'd ever given them a name, and nobody cringed anymore when she came in.
She felt a Captain-level aura and a faint smile crossed her face. Ah, yes, this was someone worth checking up on, and possibly sharing her bounty with. Certainly she had no one directly assigned under her, but she was a General of sorts, and so it sort of felt like her responsibility anyway.
So she teleported to the roof of the Starbucks, because really, ******** walking. Her entire expression lit up when she realized who it was. "Oh! You were on my team during Das Gift - Chalcanthite, right? You rescuee dBischofite at the end."
Perhaps he would have expected her to be angry - she had attacked the General, after all - but ever since meeting Bischofite in the Rift, her anger had well and dissipated. He had suffered enough, as far as she was concerned.

He nearly jumped when he saw her, half expecting her to punch or otherwise attempt to harm him for teleporting Bischofite away from that horrible event. He quickly regained his composure and waved away the remaining smoke from his electronic cigarette. "You will refrain from punching me correct? If I remember things were not the best between you and him when I got him out of there. But yes I am Chalcanthite, you are Persephone correct?"The hair on that girl made him thing she was a corrupt almost immediately. It was as if it was pouring out of her head and pooling at her feet like a waterfall. There was no way that could be comfortable for the neck, how did they deal with all that hair without stepping on it and snapping their necks?

"I slapped him already so no, I'm good on the punching-people front," Persephone shrugged her shoulders, walking over and sitting on the edge of the roof. She held out her box. "Donut?" She asked. "They're really incredible, from this nice little shop not too far from here. Open twenty-four hours because there is still hope for the world."
She popped open the box and pulled out a chocolate frosted one for herself, taking a bite.

"Oh, okay then. That is good news I guess?" He shrugged as well, he didn't quite understand females but he did understand an offering of sweets as she held out the box to him. "Oh, they look quite incredible! Sure, I will have one. I usually get a few cannoli with my espresso when I go to this small Italian cafe a few blocks away." He plucked one of the creme filled ones out of the box and ate it carefully, trying to avoid getting crumbs on his attire. "I am guessing you have some sort of history with Bischofite? If it is alright for me to be asking that. I feel like a lot of people have been pulled in by him in many different ways."

"My relationship with Bischofite has always been complicated as ********," Persephone said, "even when I was still Order." She took another bite of donut, obviously much less concerned about crumbs than he was. There was absolutely no part of Persephone that even vaguely resembled a delicate lady, outfit aside.
"We have a lot of history." She exhaled, glancing down at the street for a moment. "The first time I met him, I was helping a Knight named Valhalla rescue some civilians he'd kidnapped. The second time, I let him intimidate me into helping him with some plan he was putting together. He told me to kill a civilian or die. I told him to take that and shove it somewhere uncomfortable, which impressed him enough to make him let me go. It uh, got weirder from there."
That was skimming over the tangle of fear-hate-crush she'd felt for him, even after she corrupted. "********' complicated, trust me on that. Everything with him always is."

"Ah, that seems to be the case with a lot of people Bischofite has been in contact with. I can expect things got a bit weirder though, I have always wondered what his motives were at times but they might not be as easy to discern as I expected." He paused for a moment, wondering how many others he had pulled into his plans over the years. "I agree with his ability to be complicated, though it makes me wonder even more about what makes him tick. But I do have a question for you miss, what did it feel like when you were corrupted? If that is too personal of a question I would understand you not wanting to answer it." He looked down at his donut for a moment while thinking of the white moon senshi that he wanted to protect.

Persephone wrinkled her nose. That as always her least favorite part of her corruption. She preferred to think about how she'd felt after - free, and powerful, and beautiful, and confident. But no, everybody always wanted to know about the less fun part.
"It hurt. It hurt in ways I can't even describe. Chaos is always painful, but - can you imagine the amount required to corrupt a Super Senshi and raise her to Eternal, all in one breath? I felt like my blood was boiling in my veins and like there was nothing but agony in the whole universe. But after..." She smiled faintly. "After, I was more than I ever could have been with Order."

"Oh my, I can not even begin to imagine that. My own corruption was painful for me but I was only raised through the same side and not switching while raising. I am glad that you like the power you have been given, I wish more senshi could see our point of view or at least try to talk before fighting. What is you opinion on all those senshi from the warehouse, some of them seemed a little odd. Though I doubt that even the odd ones do not always enjoy pain at such a level that we all endure with Chaos." He thought back to his own corruption and his promotion. It had been painful but it wasn't as bad as the fear and pain he had been through beforehand.

"The Dark Mirrors, or the Order Senshi?" Persephone asked. "I've always gotten on well with the Mirror, and with their Princess - Leto. She's..." And she had to stop herself, because she would gush, and really, she needed to stop this crush in its tracks. "Order is. Order. Disorganized, misguided, well-meaning."

"I feel as if the dark mirror would be a bit easier to get along with at times but it would depend on the mission or setting in which they are met. That is a fitting description of order it would seem. It would seem they are in a way chaotic." He pondered for a moment as he pictured the poor senshi he wanted to reach out to, the road to hell was really paved with good intentions. It hurt him but he did not show it to the woman that stood by. In the end he left her to her own devices, unsure of how to help her without harming her even more. It would take him a while to get over it but it was better than driving someone further into their own despair.
