Cee had found the cafeteria on the first day, within hours of arrival. She was curious what kind swill they fed you here and the depths of her disgust knew no bounds. Of course there weren't other options and while she established her reputation socially, the woman would choke it all down and wait until she could provide for herself.

It wasn't the peak time for a meal but with duty schedules at all hours, there was always something to eat. The mostly empty cafeteria was filled with more noise than it should be due to the new Death hunter teetering in front of the buffet.

"WHAT.. IS .. THIS.." She was pointed at some sort of brown sauce. "DOES IT HAVE GLUTEN INNIT?" Cee screamed at the hunter behind the counter like he didn't speak english. Her clueless racism was getting some glances.

Her one high heeled foot tapped in agitation, and despite the echoing harpy screeches, her swaying miniskirted booty was enough to give more than a few diners a distraction from the noise.

"Aw no prob baby girl." Cee glanced at Noemi and then paused. "Oh my gahd your hair is like too hot right now."

She shot the guy behind the buffet a nasty look. "Can't get decent help these days am I right, haha." She had a tray with a salad, a piece of overly cooked chicken and a bottle of water.

"I ******** loooove your outfit." Her hand motioned to all of Noemi. "You are so workin it today."

If you wanted to get away... too bad.

"Yeah, Hot! Like smokin. Like.." Noemi's slightly worried expression made her inwardly groan. How could someone so cute be so out of touch? "Like itsa good thing, girl."

At being called prettier Cee just laughed. She didn't thank her nor pull any self deprecating nonsense. She just waved her hand. "You just gotta work it girl. Let's siddown."

She stepped over to a table where two small life division techs were sitting. They were the kind with messy buns and glasses, hunched as they whispered to eachother so as not to be so loud. Even though there were other empty spots, Cee stood next to them and stared. And stared.

"S'cuuuuuse me." The women looked at her owlishly. "Yer in our seats."
"Ah umm seats aren't assigned.." One of the women stammered. She wasn't so much afraid as taken off guard by the demand.
"I'm PRETTY SURE I said you were in our," Cee emphatically motioned to herself and Noemi, "seats."
"Ah..." The women looked at eachother and, as if realizing it was easier to move, rose and slid down to the other (empty) end of the table.

Cee, looking pleased as punch, sat down in the warm spot and patted for Noemi to join her. "You just gotta make em know you are a boss b***h."

"Fake it till you make it girl." Cee said with a definitive nod. "I'm Cee by tha way." Noemi got a wide rouged smile. She was cute enough to pass Cee's test. She could be seen socializing with her.

"You got like a stuttering thing? I mean I know they got therapy for that. But like you don't need to be all shy and s**t. Seems like yer like permanently nervous. You new too? I just got here." She was already cutting her dry piece of chicken up and placing it over the salad she got.

When the realization came that she had no dressing she simply yelled at another hunter at the salad bar across the room, "YO.. YO lemme get the oil an vinegar!" Soon the bottles were deposited in front of her and without a tank you she continued to prepare her lunch.

"Mimi's cute." Cee nodded agreement and put a piece of chicken in her mouth followed by a bite of salad. She chewed and waved her fork in response to the girl before she was done chewing.

"Mmm mmm.." She was shaking her head no. "There is no reason for you ta be nervous. You got a super weapon.. everyone aroun' here's like a friggin reality show combined with a soap opera. Ya ain't in any danger than anyone else ain't. So why don't you just relax yer pretty head about it all?"

"I'll help ya. I'm in the basemen too." She chewed another bite. "I kinda went around places and scrounged up some s**t if you wanna lookit what I got. Some like old furniture and stuff from weird closets.." Her brow lifted with another bite. "If that's yer kinna thing. I ain't super crafty but I improvise easy enough."

Miss Cee. She liked that.

"I'm small too girl." Cee was a little bitty thing but with her big heels and big attitude it was hard to care about her height. "You just gotta be big. You don't seem stupid. Shy maybe but dats it." She dabbed with her napkin to not mess up her lips.

"You come over whenever you want aight? We gon be girlfrens. And you stick wit Miss Cee and don worry bout bein scareda nothin or nobody."

She grinned warmly at Noemi, pleased inwardly at herself, and patted her hand. "I keep my door unlocked if I'm home. If you come by and it's open, commin!"

The truth was without her heels and hair she was barely 5'. Everything else added a few inches. With her yelling and screaming, most people never stopped to consider how little she was.

"Oh well yer a sweetie I can tell." She waved off the compliments with a wink and finished up the small plate of food she'd gotten.

"Oh yea? What kinna cookin do'ya do?" She was examining Noemi's looks now, appraising her. "What're you like... puerto rican or somethin?"

Cee had learned a few tips from her latina friends. 1) You never call a puerto rican a mexican. 2) you never call ANY OF THEM Dominican. So she went with the safe and most familiar assumption.
