Ever wonder what it would be like for Fire Emblem characters and OCs to go to a modern high school? So did we. Here it goes.
The school your character will go is based on which FEF country they call home. (Of course you can transfer to a new school.) Learanians will have Learania High School. Estarcia will have the Estarcian Academy. Sentrians go to Cromartie Sentria High. Mordache go to the Mordache Institute. Adlianans are home schooled.
This RP takes place at the beginning of the year. Your character can be a student or a teacher if it suits them. Administration roles belong to the rulers of each country, if they chose to take them.
In your first post please put a little profile thing in a spoiler tag. Try to include things like what grade they're in, how long they've been in this school district, any clubs they're in, some background, etc.

This is a casual RP so keep a relaxed atmosphere. There shouldn't be any pressure to post. This is just for fun, guys. This RP happens in an alternate universe. None of it relates to the stuff going on in the Learanian Legacies forum. You may only play characters you have claimed or OCs already posted here. Event NPCs are welcome too! New or old! Dead or alive! All characters are human. Your character can have their previous features, but they're only for looks. Like hairstyles can be made to look like cat ears and all that jazz. Be creative!

He could qualify for a football scholarship easily, but has his sights set on the air force, to live up to both his name and his father's legacy. Name: Ganon V'Chek Age: 28 Grade Level: Music/Band Teacher School: Learania High School Clubs: Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Marching Band, etc. Background: When he was in school, everyone sort of assumed that the 6'4" ninth grader would be a basketball pro. Many of them were quite surprised when he never even tried out, instead going for musical electives and quickly gaining a reputation as a virtuoso of all things musical. He graduated at 7'3" and went on to major in music theory and composition, then realized there was basically no money to be had in that, so he went back and started teaching at his old high school. He still writes and plays gigs on the side. Fun facts: he's blind in his left eye and owns ten snakes, three of which live in the band room-- an emerald tree boa and a California kingsnake in his office, and an enormous reticulated python in a tank in a corner of the band room itself-- it outgrew its space at home, so until Ganon's deal for a new place goes through, it's living at the school with two others! All that came crashing down when a car accident took the lives of both his parents. Vince dropped everything-- college aspirations, olympic dreams, even his relationship with a lovely young lady who was going off to college, to keep his young sister, Lina, out of the foster system. He inherited his parents' deli, debt, and responsibility all at once, and has been handling it as best he can. He's recently returned to the school to coach young track stars, using his own experience to try and whip the program back into shape, with limited success so far. He inherited their vast fortune, and enjoys a life of opulence while attending the Mordache Institute. He has a reputation for cunning ruthlessness and efficiency, and with the unreasonable amount of power wielded by the student government and the secret Dragonbone Society at the Mordache Institute, he quietly wreaks havoc on the innocent students for his own amusement while waiting to take control of Shastahcorp. Name: Blossom Ridell Age: 16 Grade Level: Junior School: Learania High School Clubs: Kendo, Hostess Club Background: Born to a cop and former-cop-turned-housewife, Blossom ended up in a foster home rather quickly when both of her parents died in a housefire. An only child by blood, she's bounced from home to home more times than she can count, and has only by some saving grace been in her current home long enough to have been at Learania High since her freshman year. Her foster parents took her in mostly out of a sense of obligation, and basically disregard her completely as she works multiple part-time jobs after school to try to save for college. As a result, she rarely gets her homework done, her grades are poor, and she often sleeps in class. She tends to get in a lot of fights trying to defend younger students who get bullied by the older, bigger students despite barely hitting five feet tall. If she's got any sense of popularity, she's not aware of it. Name: Annis Crawford Age: 18 Grade Level: Senior School: Learania High School Clubs: Journalism Background: Annis was adopted by an older couple when her young parents put her up for adoption shortly after she was born; she doesn't really mind much, because as far as she cares, her parents are probably the best she could've reasonably asked for. She's always been a very rapid-fire, inquisitive kid, so getting her involved in journalism and interviewing and writing early on was a good decision on her dad's part. While she's extremely quick and agile, and can be exceptionally graceful, her physical capabilities otherwise are very poor. She's best behind a desk, typing into the wee hours of the night. She's rather fond of earning money and rarely passes down an opportunity to earn an extra twenty, unless her self-preservation instincts kick in. Eventually her mom remarried when she was in middle school, and generally her life's been fairly quiet. She's been active in sports since elementary school, and is currently captain of the lacrosse team. She's relatively friendly and polite to just about everyone, and she makes up for a lack of natural intelligence in classes with a generous amount of regular studying. Ewan helps with that a lot. Murphy claims to take aikido lessons outside of school, though. They were taken in by Rath before their sophomore year began at LHS, transferring in from Sentria High. They also don't like to talk about that. Because they're small and quiet, Murphy tends to blend into crowds, and can very easily surprise people when desired. Name: Juniper Knowles Age: 22 Subject: Orchestra (LHS graduate) School: Learania High School Clubs: Orchestra, basically all that entails; Creative Writing club Background: Her parents died young (whose parents didn't at this rate?) while deployed overseas, leaving her in the care of her grandparents as an infant. To Juniper's credit, she thrived under their patient, steady hands. While she's certainly inclined to the arts-- she was published in the school-run literary magazine more than once-- she's exceptionally athletic and enjoyed helping Vince with his training. Especially with the pole-vaulting. They separated for a while when she was destined for college, and he scrapped all of his plans to care for his elementary-aged sister, leading her to shift gears a bit. Transferring prior to the semester to a local college rather than the one out of state she'd been accepted to, Juniper stuck around if Vince needed her over the four years, eventually gaining her degree in music theory and composition, to return back to her old school and take up the conductor's baton and lead the orchestra. She also likes to surprise the deli employees with baked goods before the weekend, and will frequently hang out outside or inside the deli with her violin or guitar to play for long periods, both to attract customers and to help lift the spirits of the students working long shifts. Name: Esmeralda Gadhavi Age: 26 Subject: Mathematics School: Estarcia Academy Clubs: Archery Background: Raised by a conservative family further north, Esmeralda ended up assuming a parental role for her younger brother Antonio when their mother died when she was ten and Antonio was only six. While their father did his best to keep things running, Esmeralda's assumed responsibilities helped to keep the family going smooth, compensating for his poor cooking skills and keeping the house clean. She and Antonio were inseparable as children as a result, with Esmeralda attending college in the area and living at home in order to ensure high school went smoothly for her brother. Eventually she obtained her master's degree in mathematics, and later turned to teaching. She took to the job quite well, though she still gets rather upset when students pretend like they've completed their homework, rather than admitting they were too busy playing video games or snapchatting their friends to do it. Esmeralda's also surprisingly fantastic at archery, having participated in it throughout college. She likes to surprise students with her pinpoint accuracy when they're not paying attention in class, flicking wadded-up bits of paper to land right on their nose or the like. Name: Sunil Gatti Age: 17 Grade Level: Junior School: Learania High School Clubs: School Mascot, Cross Country/Track and Field. Background: Sunil's earliest memories were of an orphanage. It was a lot of fun just romping around with the other orphans up until the big fire took it out when he was 8. After that, someone claiming to be a family friend took him in and the two of them traveled to explore the world's deserts for ruins (the man was an archaeologist). He returned when he was 14 to attend Learania High School (because he needs an actual education) and put his skills to the test, earning him a spot on the Track and Field/Cross Country team and taking on the role of the school's mascot. He pretty good at handling extreme conditions and situations. However, he's a little emotionally stunted and as a result he is a bit of a crybaby. He's also pretty bad with technology. Not only that, but cats seem to follow him everywhere, to the point where there will always be at least one cat present no matter what he's doing. Secret Crush: Lethe Gallia. It's a secret though, as she doesn't want others to know about their relationship. Name: Roy Pherae Age: 16 Grade Level: Sophmore School: Learania High School Clubs: Kendo, Host Club (?). Background: Roy's had a fairly stable life growing up. However, when his father fell ill last year he had to step up and take on the family business. However, the board of directors of his father's company didn't see him as 'able' yet and requested that he at least graduate before he could even be considered as eligible for the position. In order to prove his worth and thus put his father's company back on the right track, he devoted most of his time towards his studies in an effort to graduate as soon as possible. He still practices Kendo in his free time, however, because it was something he had learned from his father growing up and he wanted strength to protect things precious to him. He is prone to overexerting himself and has ended up in the infirmary on more than one occasion. He can be seen wearing reading glasses when studying, but otherwise does not need glasses. Name: Tighearnach Vishnra Age: 32 Grade Level: Teacher School: Sentria High Clubs: Sailing, (others) Background: Tig had been fascinated with the sea and naval vessels ever since he was a tyke and would often go sailing with his old main. When he was old enough, he joined the navy to further develop his sea legs. Many rumors came about his exploits out at sea, earning him the nickname 'Raging Tiger'. After he finished his active duty, he returned to Sentria to teach a thing or two to the brats. He may not look it, but he's ripped under his clothes. Name: Ewan McGregor Age: 17 Grade Level: Senior School: Learania High School Clubs: Previously Chemistry Club, Forensic Science club, and Culinary. Currently, none but applying to help with the Hostess Club. [He spends all his downtime there anyway] Currently running a lab through the Shop department. Background: Taken into the custody of his sister a few years back, who graduated from Learania as well, Ewan hasn't quite taken to the adjustment completely and tends to throw himself into his work. His heart is sent on the big league colleges, because he has plans, big ones too! Sit down and let him talk about the future and you'll be coming out with more science fiction than you thought you'd ever know, let alone care about. Sometimes the science department thinks he'll just vanish one day, lost to the TIME ZONE. But at least he always has Amelia to keep him firmly on Terra Firma, even if he's...Well, we'll get to that. Beyond that, Ewan's got a bit of a mouth on him, but a big heart to go with it. He's in the upper leagues of the class in terms of grades, but has to tread where he goes firmly. After all, if there's a club, chances are...He's probably done something. It was a prototype, he swears. Name: Evelyn "Rin" Cole Age: 17 Grade Level: Junior School: Learania High School Clubs: Nurse's assistant, Culinary Club, Orchestra and Hostess Club by proxy. [She may have been thrown into a shift or two.] Background: Raised in an orphanage and brought up in a Catholic school, Evelyn grew up apart from her brother after she was given up by her parents. Abandonment and self-esteem issues built up over the years, and she began to question her ability to meet societal expectations and pressures at face-value. Eventually she came to terms with her identity and being "Evelyn" set apart from her birth identity, and was eventually adopted by her brother, who had taken a job with the local campus. Now or days, she spends her time working with the school nurse as part of her community service and to fuel her interest in the medical field, finding the love and support that she needs from her best friend Blossom and a struggling hand of acceptance from her brother. Name: Leonardo Cole Age: 25 Grade Level: Teacher School: Mordache Institute Clubs: Sponsor for Auto-Mechanic clubs. Background: Son of a mechanic and a elementary school teacher, Leonardo had always had a gift when it came to his hands. If it wasn't the boxing ring, it was in his ability to fix and create, a gift that had gone squandered in his teenage years. His father pressured him to do something with that gift, with his intelligence, something that he wishes he hadn't taken for granted. The allure of the ring was something he couldn't resist, a hobby that soon grew to street-fighting. Eventually, it caught up to him and his grades, not to mention his reputation with his family, reflected on that. Eventually, he would lose the two of them in an accident, pushing him to take control of his life. He was able to scrounge out a respectable living as a teacher, taking on the example of both his parents. Their deaths eventually lead him to reconnect with his brother, now sister, and eventually adopt him from foster care. Name: Amir Khayri Age: 23 Grade Level: Teacher School: Sentria High Clubs: Literary Teacher and sponsor for the poetry club. Background: Blessed with a hardworking father and a dotting mother, Amir was a child that was groomed for success, and had a drive and passion for writing and literature. But the direction of his life changed with his father passing away of an illness gained from a trip out of country. His mother remarried a family friend, one Mr. Serpentfang, after some time with hope that the two could connect and life could find itself as it almost had been before. But it came to pass that his mother passed of...Natural causes, leading Drake to send him off to boarding school, assuming the family's fortune. Crushing the youth's spirit, Amir settled into becoming a pawn of Drake's under the school that he had recently...come into management for. Name: Ninian Lofgren [THANK YOU, VANESSA!] Age: 16 Grade Level: Junior School: Learanian High School Clubs: Band and Orchestra, as well as the Hostess Club. Background: [You know what, if this is an AU, then I CAN MAKE IT AS HAPPY AS I WANT, YO.] Ninian grew up in a normal home with her mother (a retired professional dancer, now teacher), father (a history professor and novelist), and younger brother. From an early age, Ninian's mother taught her to dance, her father taught her to read, and they both taught her to love. Dancing is her passion, but she loves all things musical. However, she is prone to debilitating headaches and is shy when it comes to making new friends. She joined the Hostess Club on a whim initially, but soon discovered that it's actually quite fun! Name: Clara Risna Age: 18 Grade Level: Senior School: Learania High School Clubs: Kendo (Captian & Founder) Background: Clara is the only child of Kendo champions. Her parents run a dojo which she has studied Kendo from. She has won a few kendo titles and takes it seriously. Upon learning that there wasn't a Kendo Club at the high school, she spends a good amount of her freshman year making the Kendo Club. Now a Senior, Clara is happy with the results. Outside of Kendo, she is B & C grade level student. Secret Crush: Abel, but she's just so scared to tell him. Annis knows of this crush. She use to teach at Learania High School, but after an incident Melethia went to teach at Sentria High. While she strict on the work she tries her best to make the lab portions the best part of the class. Probably because she loves the experiments more than the work. Since then Gerome has been in foster care, though none of them could replace his parents. He had been through a few families before settling with the current one he is with. Name: Vanessa Everett Age: 17 Grade Level: Senior School: Learania High School Clubs: Lacrosse team, orchestra (cello) Background: Vanessa's parents are alive and well. And very strict, I might add. Her mother is a former Army aviator and her father is a businessman. They have very high expectations for both Vanessa and her sister, Syrene. She and her sister grew up very close, though their relationship took a hit after Syrene moved off to college. She still idolizes her sister, however, and she often strives to be more like her. Following in the footsteps of her mother and sister, Vanessa plans to join the Army after college as a helicopter pilot. In the meantime, she takes private flight lessons and plans to study law at her university of choice. She recently transferred from Frelia Secondary School after her father accepted a position that required their family to move. Name: Ziaram Keivos Age: 17 Grade Level: Senior School: Learania High School Clubs: Kendo, Culinary Background: Bouncing from place to place, Ziaram really didn't care what was going on. As far as he was concerned, there was always something new to learn about. He had quite a fascination with swords however, and that kept him going. At times it did end up giving him some trouble. He at least was able to settle down at the school and keep his interests in line. The fact there was a Kendo club helped that. Outside of that, he knew that he had to learn how to fend for himself so he took a chance to learn some culinary arts. Secret Crush: None. I don't really look into these things. At a young age she and her siblings dreamed of following in their parents in the medical field, but as they grew up they each took a different path. Her older brother went into biomedical engineering. Her younger sister became an RN. Aruna, however, decided to study herbalism. Since jobs weren't in abundance, she took up a teaching career at Learania High School.
