xxxxxPersonal Information Personality: Robert has chosen for the sake of appearances appear as the example of a head of an old pureblood family that is tolerating to others (after all he did require all his own children to attend muggle studies class). He has firm control over the Avery family, though, he is remarkably tolerant of his children's independence as long as it does not notably deviate from the family's values and strength. He tends to present himself as a pillar of strength in the family and rarely one to anger and stresses the importance of loyalty to family; however, in many ways he is far from that and yet is that way but much more. Robert is a pillar of strength for his family, but he more so merely tolerates his childrens' independent choices, but he is sure to stress that the family is far from a free democracy. He prefers to be notably slow to visibly anger as he has always figured to save his true wrath for issues of the utmost importance.
He has complete control of the family is willing to use any of his children or grandchildren or other members of the family as pawns to keep a clean reputation of the Avery family and beyond the suspicious eyes of the ministry (who in Robert's opinion, along with most of the Avery who do speak on the matter in private, have taken a far too tolerable view to those of lesser blood and even hold back the wizarding world to protect mere muggles). He has been involved in various dark arts in his younger days and still thinks it is a shame that the Dark Lord (Voldemort) failed to clean up to what he refers to as the steady erosion of wizarding society due to overly sympathetic idiots.

xxxxxPast Background Information: Robert Carlson Avery was born in Tinworth as the second son to the head of the Avery family. His one older brother died in his late teens which passed on the inheritance of the position of the head to Robert Carlson Avery. The Avery family can trace the purity of their blood to at the very least the founding of Hogwarts, and of course, kept the continued tradition of keeping the blood pure by marrying only proven and documented purebloods. Following the footsteps of generations, Robert decided to marry a woman, Jane Cathaline Chaisty, a member of the Chaisty family, a family far poorer than the Averys, but more importantly could prove without a doubt of blood as pure as the Avery Clan's. It had been the Chaisty family's decision to merge the Chaisty family with the Avery family as the goals were common enough of both families, and though any Chaisty would be considered only a branch member and a subsidiary of sorts to the Avery family, they would receive the perks of being recognized as a part of the Avery family and have greater financial resources. And after Robert's marriage to Jane the Chaistys officially became a part of the Avery family.
Unlike, much of his family, it was actually Robert who had made the decision to marry Jane, and the two arranged the marriage idea before presenting it to both of their families. Robert met Jane while at Hogwarts, and considering that both could benefit from the union and they had always gotten along in school both thought it was a wise marriage choice. Jane got to become a part of a wealthier pureblood family and Robert got an intelligent, attractive wife of an acceptable pedigree.
Over the years, the two had six children, deciding to start the family immediately after they were married when Jane graduated from Hogwarts (and a year after Robert had graduated). All of their children went on to have proper marriages (mostly), either through their own selection or happily choosing to accept an arranged marriage. The only truly questionable marriage is of their youngest daughter, Cara, who had the audacity to marry a Squib. The only reason they tolerated the choice is due to fact her husband did come from a pureblood family, despite the fact her husband is fairly insistent to deny the wizarding community as much as possible and mingle with muggles and put on the air of being a muggle. However, by the standpoint of the Avery family, he did pick a muggle profession that is amusing as he is a plastic surgeon who caters to muggle vanity of looks and takes their money in exchange for slicing into them so they can achieve whatever appearance they are aiming for. The pure barbaric nature of it and the fact he doesn't leech off his own pureblood family or the Averys has granted him enough tolerance that he is allowed on the Avery family tree in the unique position of having no power in comparison to his wife and only so Cara's children can actually be recognized as members of the Avery family.
The decision did work out as Robert was able to keep his favorite of his children as a part of the family tree and was able to have greater options for who to name as the second heir to the Avery Clan, since his first born, Robert Carlson Avery II, was widowed early without producing an heir and refused to marry again. After much debate it was finally decided in the year of 2025 or 2026 who to name as the second heir of the Avery Clan-and that was Cara's and her husband's eldest child, David League. Or at least he was named a conditional secondary heir, considering it was never a secret the lack of fondness he had for the family.
Currently, Robert Carlson Avery II, the girl he adopted from the Chaisty family following her mother's death and her father's incarceration is living in the Main Avery Manor in Tinworth, England with Robert Carlson Avery I and his wife, Jane Cathaline Avery.
(2026-2027) During this year, Robert Carlson Avery I declared his youngest grandson, David Sinclair League the conditional secondary heir of the Avery family, along with giving him detailed directions to keep that position and not compromise his future-not only in the family but in other matters. This was also the summer that Cathaline League (who his squib of a son-in-law and youngest daughter Cara saw fit to hide the existance of thinking she inherited her father's disability of not having magic). Fortunately, unlike the man that Cara thought to "lower" herself to marry, Cathaline League did turn out to be able to do magic. However, obviously she has some flaws considering she did end up a squib. He can only hope that the latest child Cara and the squib end up producing is less flawed than Cathaline and definitely not worse off.
(2027-202cool Robert's wife Jane met David and a girl in his year Sapphire, who was a Slytherin. Obviously, the girl would be preferable to the Gryffindor David seems to feel fit to fraternize with, but David doesn't seem to appreciate her pointing that out. Granted, maybe the whole thing will give David half a back bone so he isn't quite such a spineless Ravenclaw.
(2028-2029) As it was David showed how much of a coward he could be (or in Robert's opinion) and David the year before end up during the Yule Ball be the center of the argument of the Slytherin girl (who had taken it upon herself to make a move on him, which David failed to mention) and the Gryffindor Leonette. Furthermore, despite the boys gloating about his intelligence he managed to fail one of his OWLs, even if it was only Cooking with Magic, and while Robert had been tempted to blame Wendy for not upholding her duty to make sure the less properly raised behaved himself, David pointed out she had priorities that would make more sense-which was apparently catching the interest of the heir of the Lillantine family. It was a bit presumptuous of the girl to decide such things on her own, of course, but Robert couldn't help but be somewhat impressed. It isn't like the girl is the type to betray the hand that feeds her and has cared for her so long.
It was also during this summer, he and his wife finally got the 'honor' of meeting the Gryffindor girl, Leonette, David had taken such an interest in and dated so long. She is at least pureblood. What is quite sad is the girl, a Gryffindor, has better manners than his own grandson at times. He has decided to wait to see on how their little relationship will pan out.
During the school year, the Lillantines contacted them (or more specifically Desdemona did) to propose the union of their son Evander and Wendy Chaisty. Robert and his wife of course answered the request and maneuvered their way into agreeing to the union AND managing to gain insurance in case David's plans fail. That insurance being their daughter of course.
(Autumn 2031) During this time, Robert planned to get rid of a current "inconvenience" in his life: his son-in-law, the squib Sinclair League, whom Robert felt would doom his granddaughter Leah to be raised wrong just like her sister Cathaline. He arranged for Maxmillian Avery to murder the man, which he did so. Things would have gone smoothly if it wasn't for the meddling of Maxmillian's daughter Wendy, who suspecting foul play turned the family in for their sizable cache of dark art objects and death eater affiliated items that were hidden in the Avery Manor's basement along with a a century old tomb of the murdered house elves of the Avery Family. Robert was sentenced to a 30 year prison term for his crimes and will likely die in prison.

xxxxxPast Background Information: Jane had a very ordinary life of a pureblood witch. She was born as the eldest child in the Chaisty family (she has one younger brother). While her family wasn't particularly wealthy compared to many of the older pureblood families, it was definitely of a middle-class income, and there was no denying the purity of the Chaisty Family bloodline.
When Jane (then Jane Cathaline Chaisty) attended Hogwarts she was sorted into Slytherin. There at Hogwarts she met Robert Carlson Avery who was one year her senior. The two had always gotten along well and it was decided by their families and agreed upon willingly by Robert and Jane that a marriage match between the two was both practical and favorable. The Chaisty family decided that in exchange for better access to the fortune of the Avery Family they would attach themselves to the Avery Family Tree as an officially recognized branch of the Avery family. And, to Jane and Robert's advantage just before the marriage between the two took place, Robert's older brother unexpected dying leaving him as the next official heir to the Avery Family which Robert eventually would take control of. Considering the amount of power and control the couple were granted by Robert's brother death, neither were particularly upset about it and saw it as an unmistakable blessing.
The summer after Jane's graduation from Hogwarts, Jane married Robert Avery and they soon began their family soon after having a quite good group of pureblood children that were very respectable in their own account. However, like any family there was and is always favorites. And, their favorite was their youngest child-Cara Jane Avery (now Cara Jane League), who was a surprise to Robert and Jane as she is at least a full ten years younger than any of her other siblings. Cara's general independence and stubborness was often overlooked and even her marriage to a squib was overlooked mostly as it didn't befoul the family name entirely as the squib, Sinclair Alfred-Jon League was from a notable pureblood family and at least was notably financially independent even if he only has a muggle career.
The greatest disgrace of the Avery Family perhaps is despite the favorable children Robert and Jane had, it was felt that the grandchildren they do have all have various faults that make them unfavorable to inherit the family and their eldest son failed to produce a child in his first marriage and never married again, seeming fine with the though of one of his nephews to inherit. And, he was not the only one who chose not to have children, and most of their children married foreign witches or wizards and live abroad. Due to that and the favor their youngest always had, it was declared in the summer of 2026 that Cara's son, David Sinclair League would be the official conditional secondary heir and would inherit when he turned 25 given certain requirement completions, despite his various faults from his failure to be sorted into the proper house (Slytherin) and the fact he technically is the child of a squib.

xxxxxPast Background Information: Wendy was born to the Chaisty family, a well known and accepted branch of the Avery family. Her father was the great-grandnephew to Mrs. Jane Cathaline Avery. Wendy would say she had a fairly ordinary raising (though, everyone's opinion of ordinary is skewed). She was raised by nannies primarily due to the death of her mother when she was very young. Her father was busy working as a potion maker.
In Wendy's view and what is labeled by the family as a "dueling accident" between Wendy's father and a muggle-born wizard, her father end up incarcerated after "killing an obviously inferior wizard" and a "big ministry misunderstanding". It was then, when Wendy was eight it was decided by the Avery family for her custody to go to them and she was officially adopted by Robert Carlson Avery II, the eldest child of the main Avery branch. Wendy now lives at the Main Avery estate with her guardian (Mr. Avery II) and his parents, though, she had till the summer before she attended Hogwarts stayed out of the main gaze of the Avery family.
Given what Wendy sees as the Avery family's generosity to adopt her, she finds it not odd at all that she is expected to do all that is asked of her, be a proper pure-blood witch, and quite frankly she is more than happy to live up to that. She doesn't see herself at all like the idiotic, and infamous Acacia Chaisty who was quite properly disowned from the family for marrying a halfblood. After all, why anyone would wish to besmirch a pureblood pedigree is beyond her. Wendy, due to her strict raising and the ever watchful eye she has been put under by the Avery Head, feels that she is entitled to a better spot on the Avery tree than a mere branch member.
School Years (1-7): Wendy was sorted into Slytherin which was no surprise for her. She befriended Mira Mitchell early on, having originally planed to use Mira to keep tabs on the heir of the Avery family, David League (now Avery). Over time Wendy developed true loyalty and affection for her friend and overlooked certain things like Mira dating a mute halfblood she would have otherwise been horrified at. During her third year Wendy was informed that she was to be engaged to Evander Lillantine, the heir of the Lillantine family. After her fourth year, her father had been released from prison due to the efforts of the Averys in finally hiring a proper lawyer. During her fifth year, Wendy also started a more romantic relationship with her fiance as the two have started the habit of snogging regularly.
During the summer before her sixth year while in the Avery family's private study she saw the will of Sinclair League and suspected foul play may be afoot in the future but said nothing till his death in the autumn of 2031. Feeling that it was a horrible thing to do (though she argues she could care less about the squib) and fed up with being under the Avery family rule, Wendy turned in the elder Averys and her father for having possession of dark and illegal magical objects as well as suspicion for the murder of Sinclair League. After their arrest, she continued to be the ward of Robert Avery the second who she has had a good relationship with. She is said to likely inherit the Avery Manor from Robert II.
Wendy finally got a ring from her fiance at the final feast of her final year at Hogwarts and sees it took long enough as she had hinted at it for ages. That winter she had also gone to the wedding ceremony of Luke, who is the b*****d son of her fiance's deceased relative, Julius, and his new, mudblood muggleborn wife Steffi.
After Graduation: While awaiting for Evander, her fiance, to graudate, Wendy plans to work as a potioneer to "keep herself from missing her dear Evander too much" as she claims to her future-in-laws. She has no intention of quitting once wed but no one needs to know that.

xxxxxPast Childhood: Maxamillian Chaisty was the second child of the heir to the Chaisty family and his wife. The first was Acacia Chaisty, a year Maxamillian's elder, who would go on to disgrace the family. While Acacia tended to be a more independent child, Maxamillian while just as intelligent as his gifted sister (and most likely more so), he lacked independent thinking. A broody child, he was educated at home by his father and private tutors, before he attended Hogwarts. There is very little to note of Maxamillian's rather strict pureblood upbringing, as he caused no issues, and no events of note ever occurred during this time.
School Years: During his school years, Maxamillian was sorted into Slytherin (like all his family should), and lived a very quiet time in the house. He was often overlooked, despite his good grades, as he was generally fairly shy and avoided his more sociable cousin, Cara Avery the best friend of his somewhat shy (though scandalous enough in her own right) elder sister. While his sister, Acacia, spent her time cozying up to some halfblood Gryffindor and being a side kick to Cara Avery as she dated every pureblood Slytherin and Gryffindor within three years of her that she could sink her nails into, Maxamillian was focused primarily on his studies and denying knowing anything about the two girls antics. However, Maxamillian deciding to take music as an elective to diversify his interests, did eventually meet in the music club a pretty musician, Beatrice Bianchi, two years his junior, also in the house of Slytherin, a pureblood from a middle class family with a father that worked in the Foreign Affairs and Sports Department and a mother who worked in the ministry for some time as a secretary of that department. Captivated by her talent and doll-like beauty, Maxamillian became Beatrice's fan of sort, and eventually won her over and they dated for Maxamillian's last year at Hogwarts, where Maxamillian quietly graduated with quite impressive grades.
After Graduation: Maxamillian's talents being in potions and understanding the importance of the Avery family having their own potioneer offering them services for potions that may raise brows for requesting, Maxamillian began a quite successful career as a potioneer establishing his own steady cliental and having his own office set up in Tinsworth till Beatrice Bianchi graduated from Hogwarts and the two soon married. Meanwhile, his sister was still being refused support from the family continued to date the halfblood Edwin Ryans (much to Maxamillian's and the rest of the family's horror). While Acacia did show up to the wedding she had the good grace to keep the halfblood she was sleeping with far from the events. Maxamillian reckoned it was because Edwin Ryans had enough sense not to endanger his life.
As the years progressed, Maxamillian and Beatrice tried for children to little success. And by the time Maxamillian was 27 and Beatrice was 25, and two miscarriages had occurred (thankfully quietly and not mentioned or noticed outside the couple), Wendy Madeline Chaisty was conceived and later born. It was a relief to both Maxamillian and Beatrice to have a child, since four years earlier, Acacia had officially given up any right she had to ever be considered a Chaisty (or any chance of producing a legitimate heir) as she decided to elope with the halfblood Gryffindor Edwin Ryans. Edwin was stupid enough to confront their father of the elopement, and by the intervention of the head of the Avery family it was decided to let the disgraces continue to live their pitiful lives while keeping the two in check (and eventually convincing the two to relocate for several years abroad).
However, Maxamillian and Beatrice were thrilled at the birth of their daughter Wendy, though, it was not a boy which would have been ideal considering their difficulty in having a child in the first place. Regardless, the two saw the idea of having a healthy daughter was quite preferable to having a sickly male (and the fear of having a sickly child was very much a prevalent fear of both). For a little over a year, the two had a quite happy marriage and family life. Maxamillian continuing to work as a successful potioneer and Beatrice staying at home to care for Wendy. It was several hours before Maxamillian returned from work that Beatrice, suffering from an un-diagnosed heart disorder, had a heart attack, and without anyone there to get her immediate care she passed away. Maxamillian was left with the daunting task of not only losing, as he saw, his only true love, but a young daughter in his care. Maxamillian, while continuing his work as a potioneer, began to hire nannies and recognizing the resemblance his daughter had with her mother in looks, beyond inheriting Maxamillian's red hair and blue eyes, he decided to raise her to model many of her mother's talents, including her musical talents. Beatrice's preferred instruments being viola and harp, Maxamillian arranged for Wendy to start viola lessons at the young age of 3 and harp lessons by the time she was 5.
Sentencing and time in Azkaban: Maxamillian, though very much the doting father, and in many ways working to model his daughter as the "epitome of a perfectly bred young pureblood lady", did pick up a vice after his wife's death: drinking. Finding that there were nights he could not sleep, Maxamillian made a habit of frequenting various drinking establishments. It was at one, late one evening after going out once Wendy had gone to sleep, in the Spring of 2023, that Maxamillian had exchanged heated words with a muggleborn wizard who at one point accused Maxamillian of being "an inbred arsehat with a bug up his bum who would shag his own sister to preserve 'purity'." Maxamillian, being naturally hot tempered, and having a drink or two too many for his best judgement at the time, asked the wizard to step outside to settle their argument properly. It was in a back alley that it was believed that a duel took place which was quickly summed up: the charges by the ministry (and correctly) was the use of the killing curse.
After a rather speedy trial and him being refused any council or support by his family he was sentenced to life in Azkaban for the use of an unforgivable curse and murder. Wendy, at the age of eight, was transferred into the care of the eldest son of the Head of the Avery family, though Wendy's raising was primarily overseen by the Head of the Avery family and his wife. Maxamillian languished in prison for the next six and a half years, till in February of 2030, the Avery family decided to hire a proper lawyer to review the case and Maxamillian was released on the fact that his wand was not found to be in his hands, no one witnessed the other wizard's death or heard any commotion or use of the curse, and that Maxamillian never confessed to any involvement in the wizard's death before his initial trial, during his trial, or after his trial during his years in Azkaban. Maxamillian, after his release, was invited to move to the Main Avery Manor for the time being, where his daughter spends her summers and holidays, and Maxamillian graciously agreed looking forward to the time he can finally see his beloved daughter once again, after she returns from her fourth year at Hogwarts.
Autumn 2031 Events: Maxamillian on the request of Robert and Jane Avery murdered Sinclair League. However, much to Maxamillian's surprise, his own daughter turned him in for the actions and the treasure trove of dark magical objects in the Avery Manor's basement. Maxamillian was sentenced and is once again serving a life sentence in Azkaban

xxxxxPast Background Information: Sera is the oldest child of the only son (and child) of the second son (Wendell Johann Avery) of Robert Carlson Avery the First, the head of the Avery Clan. Her grandfather, and father, all chose to have a child quite young and in their early twenties as having an heir was expected. In her case, she was seen much as a failure in the fact she was a girl. Sera likes to point out (at least to herself) that there are far worse outcomes and fates than merely her being a girl). Her father and mother's marriage was arranged much as her grandfather's was. They were the sort of persons who found it easier to let a marriage be decided for them then to try to sort through the rather narrow options of respectable pureblood women there is in the dating pool. So, of course, when she was born it was decided that she at the very least would become a respectable pureblood woman.
Sera has attended Charms school so far before heading to Hogwarts and has in fact had a very quiet, and typical, upper-middle-class pureblood upbringing. While considering where she stands on the family tree she is far from as wealthy as some of her family members, she has lived a quite comfortable life and is happy enough, if a bit sheltered.

The baby of the family and his father's heir, he's used to being spoiled, as well as the center of attention, and he's not afraid to actively seek it out whenever possible. xxxxxPast Alec is the youngest child of the only child of the second son of the patriarch of the Avery clan. The product of an arranged marriage, he was a relief to his parents, as they finally had a male child, an heir, five years after his older sister Sera was born. While not as wealthy as other pureblood families, Alec has enjoyed an upper middle class upbringing with many perks of its own, and he's had a happy enough childhood thus far, although the incarceration of some family members had made their surname a bit of a laughingstock and a disgrace. Growing up there was a fair share of tension between him and his elder sister, as he is the favored male child who consumes most of the attention of the adults, but distance makes the heart grow fonder, and he and his sister are a little closer now than they used to be, although they still frequently bicker. Alec despised his charms school, and gave his teachers and sometimes his parents their fair share of grief with his wild behavior. For the first time in his life he is attempting to be on his best behavior, as he had been looking forward to attending Hogwarts for years now.
Alec's first year was horrifying, at least at the start, as he was sorted into Gryffindor and not Slytherin. But despite his initial outrage over where the house had placed him, he privately admitted that he seemed very well-suited to the house, and he did manage to make one friend, an opinionated, bold girl named Lucy. xxxxxPast Background Information: Mordred's father is a pureblood wizard by the name of Peter Avery who is married to a pureblood witch Noémie Avery with two grown children, all who live in France. Mordred is not a product of this marriage but instead the result of the affair of Peter with his only mistress (and likely liked as well as his wife), the muggle model Clara Amber Sefton. Clara Sefton is a successful model who makes her home in London, and the two met by chance 13 years prior. Peter enchanted by Clara's good looks began to see Clara on the side whenever he was in England. Two years after meeting, Clara ended up pregnant with Mordred who she so named after 'one of her favorite characters because he has such a sad and romantic stories' from Arthurian myths. Mordred thinks his mother chose his name in bad taste considering. Regardless, Mordred grew up relatively well liked and cared for by him mother and sent to stay with a babysitter on any weekend Peter Avery was in time.
Clara was unaware of Peter being a wizard till Mordred was four when she was terrified to see in Mordred's room his toys actually moving on their own. Thankfully for Mordred and Clara's sanity Peter was there at the time and was able to explain the situation. Clara cautiously adapted to the idea finding Peter all the more charming thanks to him being "a talented wizard" and said "no wonder he stole my heart, he's enchanting". Mordred was less impressed and in fact is quite happy to escape his mother going to Hogwarts. He only hopes he doesn't get recognized by any of his father's family because from his father's rather lengthy lecture before he went "he better keep his mouth shut on who he is and say he's a filthy mudblood, or he'd kill the brat himself to keep Mordred's moth shut". Mordred sees no reason to brag about his father anyways, and has no intention of bragging or otherwise about the man, but if asked directly he's not going to lie, and he'll say he's halfblood, people to cowardly to face their sins aside.
Summer of 2032: After the fall of the head of the Avery family, Peter Avery decided to finally divorce his current wife and chose his mistress, Mordred's mother. Since then he has been living with the two, much to Mordred's distaste and his mother's happiness. There will be a wedding the following summer where Mordred is to be a ring bearer.
