Peyton was already headed to the cafeteria as she sent out the tweet.. Really, it didn't matter to her if anyone but Cami showed up, but she figured she'd extend invitation to the island at large, and maybe a few of the newbies would come out and socialize.
Once she'd arrived in the kitchen she'd headed straight for the shelves, dragging down a loaf of bread. From the cooler she'd grab a pack of turkey and an an assortment of other fixins. Lettuce, tomatoes, avacado, mustard, mayo. Anything and everything she could think of.
All this was set on one of the tables in the cafeteria, along with a stack of cups and plates, and a bottle of orange soda.

Really? Dylon just wanted to socialize with a lot of girls. What better way than to involve himself in Sandwich night? The young man strolled into the room as Peyton finished setting up, grinning widely at the spread of Sandwich making deliciousness.
"Looking good!" He called out as he stood beside the girl. "Hey~ I'm Dylon." He held out a hand to shake.

It took all of about a minute after Cami got the Tweet with instructions from her Sun-senpai that she was out the door, not even caring that she was in essentially her pajamas. The loose tee and PINK lounge pants weren't scandalous by any means and, besides, she lived here. Eventually someone was going to have to deal with the fact that comfort was generally her priority, especially considering everything she'd been through lately. She did, at least, pause to throw feet in flip-flops before shuffling out the door.
Hitting the kitchen she immediately hopped onto a stool, beaming at Peyton. "You're awesome. All that talk had my stomach rumbling but I hate coming down here alone." She hated going anywhere alone, really, but especially at night. Dylon caught her attention right after to which the redhead winked. "Hey yourself~"

In jogging shorts and a tank top Peyton was the last person to be judging Cami on her lounge wear. Hell, she hadn't even bothered with shoes. Aquamarine nail polish stood out like ocean water against tanned skin.
Dylon was first on the scene, quickly followed by Camil, and the dainty Sun was straightening up in her chair to offer a hand out in greeting. "Hey, nice to finally meet you!" She'd seen him plenty on twitter, but never out and about.
As cami flopped down beside her she nudged a plate in her direction with a premade sandwich already prepared. "I am psychic, see? I made this for you."

Melvin worked at night. He lab shift was in the evening and he was usually there till 2am if not later. He wasn't being particularly productive while he waited on various machines to finish their calculations and processes and was just sitting in his lab with his phone. It had been a very amusing day, but even though he wasn't much into the talk of Robert or Rep sandwiches, he was still hungry. A week of getting by on just coffee and vending machine food for dinner was not doing him any favors.
A sandwich sounded good.
Getting up, he left the labs and went to the kitchens. Pey was already there along with two hunters he didn't know. "Hey." He said to those in the room, but glanced at the arrangements. Dilemma was that it was a shared food spread, and he wasn't into that at all. Orange soda was also too sugary for his tastes. Opening the fridge, he checked to see if there were any other options hidden somewhere in the back that wasn't expiring. He tried his best to clean out the fridges as often as he could.

Making a large smooching sound in Peyton's direction she wasted no time scooping the sandwich up and taking a healthy bite. It didn't even matter what was on the damned thing but it was excellent. Lettuce, avocado, mustard, mayo. All a smooth blend that went down like glory into a stomach that had been abused with far too much sugar earlier that day. "Like I said, you're wonderful. I think Imma have to start either eating better or jogging more and I am not sure which one I prefer."
Seeing Melvin come in she looked curiously at him as he rummaged. "Is there any juice in there, by the way?" She called out to him. "Orange juice, preferably."

"Hey sweet thing~" Dylon crooned back to Cami as she came over. Lovely ladies~ Oh, and a Melvin. That was cool too, he supposed. "Yo! Sup, man?" He called out. "Not into gluten or something?" Melvin didn't look too kindly at the sandwiches...
Dylon shrugged, and made himself a big turkey sandwich with the works.

"Oh, no. I just - wanted a bacon sandwich instead." He lied, pulling out a packet of bacon and looking at them. "If any of you want any, I can make some extra." He said, moving to the stove and pulling out a skillet to wash.
To the girl, he shook his head. "Not one you want to drink. Most of the drinks in there that aren't in a bottle are usually expired. There is juice in the vending machine at the end hall though. I'm going to go there to get something to drink in a moment. Orange soda is too sweet for me." He said, though hoped Peyton didn't take offense.
He turned on the stove and set about making some bacon. He wasn't a cook, but he could manage simple things. Usually all his food was pre-packaged if he could manage that.

Deciding to check twitter that very evening had turned out to be a quite embarrassing experience for Kylee. Perhaps she had been alone in her room, but the solitude did not stop her face from heating up as she read the words, and promptly buried her face into the comfort of her scarf.
"You're such a prude." Akila sighed as the girl pressed her cheeks into the fabric.
"I'm not!" Kylee shot back. A week in the infirmary had trained her not to reply her weapon's quips out loud, and she was certainly getting the hang of not broadcasting her conversations with her weapon.
And though she hadn't had an appetite for sandwiches after that conversation, she certainly needed a distraction. Maybe some orange soda and a conversation with not Rep or Robert would certainly help.
The girl soon shuffled in, wearing her pajamas; essentially a white tank top and shorts patterned with red hearts, along with her red scarf. She might have only gotten it when she had first been introduced to this island, but the item was still a source of comfort for her. "Hey." She greeted the hunters already there, deciding to slide up next to Cami as she picked up the bottle to open it.

It took Mikael a while to find the cafeteria, he'd been told about it but being told and actually finding were in practice too different things. When he finally arrived he peeked around the door, saw the number of people present and considered running back off again.
He was a very short young man, four foot nine at the tallest, still dressed in the clothes he'd woken up in with very soft, very pale blonde hair. His features were soft and delicate yet framed with a familiar edge. His eyes were a very striking blue, and as usual, looked rather afraid.
"Um. I'm not interrupting?" he asked, and there was a very dulled edge of a Swedish accent in his voice.

"Yes, I know I am." This to Cami, as she started to make her own sandwich. "And if you wanted to start Jogging, I go out four times a week in the morning. You're welcome to join me." Melvin's entrance drew her attention up from the bread she was laying turkey on, and she flashed him a smile. If he wanted something else to eat that was just fine with her. Food and socializing, that was the plan. Besides, who didn't love bacon? "Good plan, Mel." The smell alone would draw people from all over the compound. Speaking of drawing. "Hi!" She recognized Kylee from her picture on twitter. "Nice to meet'cha." She didn't recognize the young man that came in next, but his demeanor, that pale skin, white blonde hair; Mikael had said he was from Sweden, right? Well this kid looked very Swedish, and sounded it. "No, not at all." A softer smile this time, but just as inviting. "Are you Mikael? I think I owe you a sandwich." She gave the seat on her side opposite to Cami a pat, wordlessly inviting him over to sit with her.

Mikael looked spooked as he was addressed, wide eyed and uncertain what to say.
And as if propelled by some outside source, he moved, heading to where Peyton had gestured and sitting down before he was really aware what he was doing.
"I am Mikael." he said, helpfully. "I would very much appreciate a sandwich."
There was a snarl in his head, and again the voice was all teeth and bristling rage.
He flinched but did not clarify at what.

"Hi." She said warmly in return to Peyton. This was the girl who had initiated the midnight snack meetup, and Kylee was honestly quite glad for the distraction. "I'm Kylee, by the way." She added. Just in case. Not just for Peyton's sake, but for the boys, whom she barely recognized. She had been all a fluster when tweeting that Kylee only remembered faces on display pictures and just some names when mentioned.
Pouring some orange soda into a cup, she glanced up only to see another male appearing. Mikael huh? The brunette gave him as a smile as a greeting, and held out an empty cup and a still open bottle of orange soda. "Want any drinks to go with that?"

It was turning into quite the gathering. It reminded him of college. Dylon beamed happily, finishing making his sandwich just as Kylee and Mikael came in. It was stunning to see everyone outside of Twitter. The faces behind the words.

Twitter be damned; it was the noise that caught Ever's attention, drawing him from his adventures down strange hallways, his nervous exploration of the place, back into the cafeteria. People talking, and he wasn't hungry so much as starved for human interaction, seeing people face to face. He wasn't used to time alone, and he didn't like it.
So. Bustle. Noise. Voices that sounded happy. Laughter would have improved it, but as it was, that was enough to make Ever poke his head in and consider the sandwiches laid out on the table, the bottles of soda, and then the faces behind them.
He smiled as he stepped in, shrugging his crisp and clean coat into place. It marked him as the fresh-faced Life trainee that he was. So be it.
"Is this a party?"
