 Dark hooves scrambling on slick rocks, eyes wide with fear, Red keeps running. Lethargy and over use cause her muscles to ache and burn, but she cannot afford to stop. It's after her agian, the nightmare that buck had released into the waking world with his bewitched eyes. Inside her belly, the sickness squirmed within her, turning her stomach. Swallowing back bile, her hoof steps slow to a stuttering halt. It's true then, it had to be. It poisoned her, filled her with something, some thing. She saw it when she slept, watching helplessly as she dreamed as it made her belly grow more and more each night. Terror made her shake, fear brought tears to her eyes. What was happening to her? Amorpheous OMG I"M SO TIRED. Sorry this took so long...

A voice calls out, "Oh, dear child, why do you cry?"The voice is followed by the pattering paws across ground and suddenly, a cheetah is before the doe, taking an impossibly giant leap to land in front of the doe having soared over her head. The eyes that stare at the doe are bright and kind.

'Oh, dear child, why do you cry?'Panic turned her blood to ice in her veins when she heard the voice. Spinning, she looked around wildly, who was there? Was it the monster from before? Had it found her? She was inwardly cursing her frailty when the cheetah made herself known by flying above and landing before her. Red cried out and shuffled backward. "What? How--?"

As non-threateningly as possible, Starburst introduced herself softly, "Greetings, my name is Tastes Like Summer."
"As for how, the MotherFather has blessed me with the ability to jump and run farther and faster than cheetahs themselves." She smiled then, just an upturn of her mouth so that she did not flash her sharp teeth.

Red Scare blinked back, standing still now, but making sure to keep her distance. Though, she wasn't entirely sure what for, the big blue cat could obviously catch her if she tried to run. "Cats do not talk." She said, eyes narrowing, "What do you want? Are you here to kill me? Go right ahead, little p***y cat, do it and you'll regret it! I'm infected, poisoned.." Her head spun as her stomach kicked, nausea churned her insides. Growling, she spat and rambled on. "It was him, that buck. He poisoned me... I shouldn't have trusted him, shouldn't have...." Amorpheous I did NOT get that ping! ; A;

Starburst blinked, surprised and taken aback by the vitriol with which the doe responded. "Infected, my dear?" She didn't dare take another step forward, not wanting to scare the doe anymore and cause her to slip and fall. "While you're not quite in the best shape, if I were to hazard a guess, I wouldn't say you're doing very poorly either."
