Cherry showed up at the Sugar Shanty looking for her good friend. A friend she was exceptionally had grown to be happy about having made. She felt like a kindred spirit in many points of agreement. Having similar personalities, she found it very easy to be around him. She felt almost like she was around a male version of herself. While she was in ignorance of the particulars of Richard's life that made it so hard for him, she had been noticing that since the night she met him. That he was sometimes not really seeming to get past his troubles. Did they just keep coming to him? Well, she had decided to be a good friend and bring him some pie and rolls. They were fairly fresh from the oven that morning.
She walked in the door looking around. She had observed the last time she stopped by it was being worked on. She knew noone was supposed to be there, but as per the usual, she didn't think what applied to everyone else did to her. Nope. She just let herself in anyways. After finding a safe spot to set the box on, she skittered up behind him. Sliding in directly behind him and her hands into his back pockets. She gave a few good squeezes. She leaned forward. Her booties with the slight heel put her tall enough to reach his ears. "Hey... Brought you something to cheer you up. Figured you could use some happy in your day."
She was about to pull her hands out and wrap them around his torso to add in more witty compliments and double entendre. She was also slightly hoping that by catching him by surprise or off guard; he'd slip up on that Texan accent. Really, anytime she pulled shenanigans on him was usually in hope of that end. She found accents enticing. "So how goes it, cowboy." She then pulled her arms back and slid her hands onto her hips. Was she posturing just for his attention? You bet. What better reason was there to do anything?
Finally, her eyes looked up and took in the blue hair. Blue... hair?

It wasn't in Daran Moreau's nature to live up to someone else's lofty expectations and more often than not, he'd focus on not overselling or overhyping himself when selling himself or his brother's products to a customer. He never thought he was leading them on, nor would he ever get involved in his brother's strange desire to confuse people by pretending to be him. He never participated in those shenanigans as a kid and he certainly wasn't going to do that now. It was the soul purpose of him dying his hair, for keeping his appearance scruffy and why he worked out, to leave enough for others to be able to look at him and immediately see the difference between the twins. He worked painstakingly hard to look different from Richard, which he thought was being pretty damn nice of him to go out of his way when he could easily expect others to be able to tell the difference on their own.
Which was why he was always, always, always agitated when one of Richard's 'friends' mistook him for his brother. It never ceased to amaze him that no matter how much he went out of his way to distinguish himself from his brother and yet all of it was for naught because apparently there was something about him that just seemed like his efforts would have been for naught. Because there was always someone that mistook the two... always.
He heard the chime of the door opening and given that he hadn't heard an immediate insult slung in his direction, he knew it couldn't have been Richard, and any hope that it might have been Krishna or maybe one of the construction workers was shot the moment someone's fingers went into his back pockets. Nope, their hands were too big to fit into such a tight place and Daran could not stop himself from tensing up from the sudden unannounced physical contact. He heard her speak up but he kept perfectly still, too worried that if he moved he'd snap her fingers right off, and only when she seemed aware that there might have been a mix up did he call back to her.
"Hmmm, cowboy? I'm guessin' you managed to meet him when he was so drunk he let his accent slip?" Daran knew how much of a tight a** his brother was about hiding it, all the time and effort spent in speech therapy to cover up the Southern drawl that he detested so much. Finally, slowly, he glanced back at the brunette and flashed her as polite a smile as possible, for one with their fingers groping their butt, anyways. "Guessin' he didn't tell you he had a twin either."Graceangel Cherry used sneak attack! It's super effective! Richard used Substitute! It's... super effective?

On any given day, Cherry hit the ground running. When faced with impromptu problems and issues, she'd just jump right in. She'd catch that fly ball and run off with it. Being that way, it was pretty uncommon if not rare to get her completely stumped. That turning of the head to look at her. She glanced with a staring look. She deeply studied that look in the eyes. So familiar, and yet...
When he spoke, a huge grin sprung up across her cheeks. The words that came out of his mouth; well, they explained quite a lot. "Ooooohhhh, um. Nope. Sure didn't! I can see where he might not have the night we met. I was surprised he even remembered where he lived."
She could have took offense in this that Richard had held back a rather important detail about himself, but she just cut him some slack. She held back plenty people would want to know probably. In months to come, she'd become the queen of hiding things from people. Not that she was any kind of liar. She just was always looking out for herself, and that meant not divulging information that was potentially self incriminating.
That accent though. Hot damn. As she worked her way past that curtain of confusion, she scoffed inwardly at her inability to tell them apart. She then switched gears and went into the exact element of her charm. The part of her that devoured other people.
"Well, listen to you. That is a mighty fine accent. Yeah. I thought his accent was lovely. It's too bad he never seems to ever talk like that at any other time. I almost have to feel lucky I just happened on him that night to hear it."
Oh yeah. She was smiling away. There went her hand up to slip into her loose wavy curls at the end of her tresses. A finger swirling a strand around it as her other hand slid out to shake his as she moved around towards his front. "Well, I do apologize. My mistake entirely; though I hope you won't hold it against me. Unless you would ...." She caught herself. If he had been Richard, there would have been quite a lewd invitation to hold it against her as long as lots of fun little things. Things she figured she better not just spit out. Never know if he is even like that. What if he were the exact opposite and hated people who just casually slept around like that. She had been making friends recently with some people who thought just those sorts of things.
"I'm Cherry! I brought your brother a pick me up surprise, but if you want, you can just keep it for yourself. I can always make him another one later." Because despite the fact most of her calls on Richard were for reasons personal and carnal, she did have an immeasurable compassion for him. Poor guy... had just really been through the ringer with all his s**t going down. Cherry was always wondering how he was just as a person.

Daran was a natural prankster and one would think that if anyone knew how to take the situation and push it to the limit, it would have been Daran. Yet, he was only willing to go so far to have a little fun, and to him, there was very little fun to be had with mistaken identity, especially when the one committing the mistake was on the borderline of sexual assault. It would have been too easy to get carried away and pretend he was his brother, but he couldn't bring himself to do it. He just couldn't.
At least she seemed to believe him. There were times where some of Richard's intimate friends thought he was lying or pulling their leg to get out of a second date and more often then not it led to a few broken relationships, none of which Daran thought his brother took seriously anyway. Not that he even really cared... half the time he felt he was doing his brother a favor! Was this one of the gold diggers his brother fell for? It was hard to say, but Daran kept his thoughts to himself. Her explanation made him sigh and he shook his head as he rolled his eyes. "Plastered? That's Richard for you. I assumed you brought him home?"
He didn't really need confirmation. It just seemed like a very Richard thing to do, so he went straight to the gratitude, certain that his brother wouldn't have thanked her. Verbally, anyway. "Thanks for that, then. I swear he has a few screws loose and I don't know how he manages to get himself home sometimes." She seemed to like his accent, and he had to look away to hide the smallest of blushes that reddened his cheeks. "I don't get why he hides it either, but I got no problem with it. No point in hiding what you are- if they don't like you for who you are, then they're likely not worth your time."
There was really no need to apologize, he thought to himself, turning back to his work but finding himself distracted. He might not have been as big as a flirt as Richard, but he couldn't deny that Cherry was definitely worth giving one's attention to. Especially with the way she was flirting... at he, he thought she was flirting with him. It happened from time to time, but it was something Daran wasn't quite used to. When she introduced herself, he turned to face her entire and returned the favor, flustered from her flirting that he forgot if he had done so beyond that he was Richard's twin. "Daran Moreau. A pleasure to meet you, Cherry. I'm not too keen on sweets mostly, but it looks lovely an' I wouldn't mind giving it a try. I'm sure he'll share, an' if not, I'll twist his arm. That'll do the trick."

Well, this wasn't Richard. That counted for lots. That meant it was game on. Even if he was a twin, that didn't mean that he'd do anything the same way. Plenty of people had twins or triplets who were drastically different from one another. She thought to herself it might be some kind of special sort of conquest or notch on her belt if she managed to knock boots with both brothers. She wondered what the chances were to have them both at the same time. The possibilities that rolled through her mind would have been written all over her face if someone knew her well enough to recognize that face.
The moment he engaged her with eye contact and words out of his mouth. Her casual flirting took position like a gun locked and loaded. She tousled a that strand of hair around her finger from out next to her and gradually closer to her person. She let it go, and it bounced and dropped against the skin of her cleavage that peeked out from the folds of her top. Her hands flattened against the counter in front of her.
"Yeah. I didn't know it when I first met him how common that might be sometimes. I'm sure he does it to himself, but everyone has their own way of dealing with grief and loss. It can be a hard thing to figure out what to do with yourself. You ask yourself, 'Where do I go from here?'. That asking takes many forms. Some people take days, weeks, or months. There are those who take years or never figure it out. There are just some hearts that require extraordinary amounts of time to heal. Maybe something extra besides t he time. Maybe a little love and tenderness."
The part she didn't say was she was all too willing to provide time, love, and tenderness. Though it was also true for not just Richard. Anyone who spent considerable amount of time with her were also fairly eligible. Daran's comment about being yourself. A truth that immediately resounded within her. Deeper than possibly much that anyone said to her ever. She wasn't exactly the type of person who took advice easily from others if at all. "You are so right. I couldn't agree more. Then again, I suppose I have things I hide from a few people." She cut herself off right there. No need to go on and spill about how there were darker and scarier parts of her most anyone wouldn't want to know. Parts that she herself pretends doesn't exist.
Her eyes glittered at the flustering. She absolutely adored when people were flustered around her. She lapped it up greedily. It put her into keen predator mode. "And, a pleasure to meet you Daran. I"m sure we'll be great friends. Well, if you don't like sweets, you don't have to try it. Just thought I'd offer it at least." So she said as a hand reached out to touch one of his while saying she thought they'd be great friends.
With every word, she was an inch or half an inch closer. "Well, then I feel twice as impressed that for someone who doesn't like sweets much. You would twist your brother's arm to make him share and let you have some. You should tell me what you do like. I don't mind serving people exactly what they like. Pies are my specialty, but that doesn't mean I can't do other things that would impress you just as much."

It seemed that addressing her and making eye contact was a mistake, and he only had himself to blame. Yes, this Cherry was exactly like Richard, in every way, only that the sexual organs were swapped, and he couldn't blame her for trying to turn on the guns for him. Apparently, the men of the Moreau family were attractive and Daran wasn't the type to deny simply truths like that.
And the cleavage she allowed him to see wasn't so bad, either. If he was about to be hit on, at least she was mighty fine in the looks department... though the topic was a great way of keeping Daran's testerone levels down for the moment. "I wouldn't trust Richard when he says he's 'coped'. He says he's alright, but I know better. He puts on a face that others -want- to see, just to please them... y'know, I'm hopin' he's not doing the same for you. If you suspect though, then I'll apologize in his place."
Not that he wanted to talk about how he handled grief. That was neither the time nor place, and quite frankly he felt it wasn't any of her business. If Richard took comfort in being flirted with when he was grieving, even if it didn't work, that was none of his concern. Cherry seemed under the impression that Richard needed love and tenderness, and that made him scoff, though he tried to keep his tone polite. "Maybe love will cure all his problems, but I think a psychiatrist might be in order. An' not one of them sexy ones that he goes to. But you're right, to each his own."
He looked down at the pie she offered and let out a small sigh, just barely missing how she reached a hand towards him and to avoid that touch, he moved towards the drawer just below where she set the pie down. Inside, there were plastic forks and spoons and he grabbed himself one, feeling that he had managed to dodge the bullet if only for a second, as he dug the fork into piece to give it a try. In response to her rather sensual question, he answered truthfully, his expression stoic and not a hint of mirth in it as he said, "I enjoy huntin' animals and then stuffin' them."
He gave the pie a taste and was genuinely surprised. He liked it.

Cherry started to think perhaps she needed to find away to talk about something other than Richard with this brother. The more she was told; the more she felt herself thinking about Richard and his troubles. Despite being the selfish ego maniac she was, she really genuinely liked Richard a lot. The fact he had been suffering so much; it stirred both her compassion and empathy. She wanted to make him feel better. She started to feel rude, however; as she looked up at this brother.
Then she had a vagrant thought that. If they were twins, maybe that also meant most of the things Richard was going through; this guy was probably going through also? Minus the totaled car. Though with the manner of his demeanor, she chewed the side of her bottom lip. Ok. Maybe aggressive conquest mode should wait. He didn't seem to be interested, so she didn't press on. She took the diplomatic route instead.
Her eyes widened with serious and sober contemplation. He hunted animals? She owned no pets of her own, but she didn't dislike animals. "What kind of stuff do you hunt? I mean. Yeah. You said 'animals', but usually people who hunt frequently have sorts of game they like in particular. Like, some people are just hardcore deer hunters. Some like doing mostly game birds. Some will go fox hunting or whatnot. Or.. even for bears. You ever kill and stuff a bear?" Though she had to admit to herself, she couldn't judge anyone for hunting animals too harshly. She hunted people, and she was pretty sure that made her just as bad or worse.
"Do you always stuff them? You ever turn their pelts into a rug or something? Or, put their heads on the wall? You're from Texas, right? Don't cowboys like putting heads of everything on a great big plaque to hang on the wall." She was going to tell him something that was some form of epeen contests, but she left that out. If he wasn't too impressed with her flirting, he would probably be less impressed with crass statements coming out too.

Richard may have had a knack for what was on another person's mind, but Daran shared little of that insight, as well as the capacity to really care. There was something about Cherry that reminded him a lot of his brother and it was easy to see why she'd be coming around to his shop, even when it was clearly closed. The pie she offered might have had some sexual innuendo that only Richard had privy to, and as far as Daran was concerned, he'd like to keep it that way. Still, didn't mean he should have been rude and chase her out. Nothing wrong with having a friendly conversation, right?
"Anything that has runs on all four and is considered legal by whatever state I'm in at the moment," he said flatly, unwilling to admit that he always took some pleasure in seeing the look of surprise on others' faces when he told him of his hobby. Some were impressed, others were horrified. It was always something different, and it probably made him a bad person, to get enjoyment out of such things. Not that one could have known by the expression on his face, stoic, calm, not at all the gleeful expression one would take when taking enjoyment out of someone else's surprise. "Mostly deer, rabbits, squirrels, birds of various types, so long as they're legal, an' I got the permit. Never shot a bear before, but I've come close to one... ended up just lettin' it go, after giving my hunting partner a good scare."
Said hunting partner would never forgive him for allowing a bear to get too close, and said hunting partner would have spun a different story, but he was certain that if anyone could weasel the story out of Richard, Cherry would be the one. "As for stuffing, yeah. What doesn't get processed for food, I usually stuff and mount it, though I don't have much room here to do it as I do back in Texas. It's usually the difference between me shooting it or letting it go- 'do I have the space'. Though, I could stuff a bear and gift it to my brother... you've been to his apartment recently, I'm guessing. Would hiding it behind the bathroom door be too far? What about his closet?"
This Cherry was a bad influence on him- he wanted to help his brother's recovery, and thinking of the best way to prank the poor guy was NOT the way to go. But damn, he'd be lying if he said he wasn't looking forward to it! "I don't mind trophies, but I'd rather have the whole thing. Go big or go home. Though head trophies would fix the space problem... this really makes me want to grab my rifle. Been too long since I went huntin'."
'For deer, anyway.'

To a certain point, anything having to do with pie was some manner of innuendo with her. The degree and how deeply depraved that innuendo might be depended on the person and just how much involvement they had with her. In Richard's case, she probably would have left it up to his imagination. Since any assumed interpretation would have been fine by her. Where all things were dirty in her reasoning, there was often no right or wrong answer.
She actually had no friends who were into hunting or this business of stuffing animals. It was something new, something different. Cherry was always interested in anything new or different. It sparked her curiosity. "Oh my. I hear deer meat... They call that venison, right? I've been told by a few people that it's considerably higher quality than eating normal beef. What do you think? Supposedly, noone knows more about good steak than someone from Texas."
This summarized and cliff note version of this hunting partner made her grin something wicked. Didn't that mischievously delicious? A hand going to rest on the edge of the counter while one went to her hip. "Was that scare really an accident? Or, did you do it on purpose?" Her eyes searched his, dancing with amusement. Was that a prank? She could see where people who had strong control over their weapons could freak someone out by acting like they just barely missed shooting someone but would never have shot them.
"Yeah. I been to his apartment." Well, the thought didn't even cross her mind that freaking the s**t out of someone would impede their recovery. Maybe she should have since she felt concerned about her friend; however, the fancied idea of scaring the daylights out of someone. That sounded exciting.
"Well, I'd personally say the bathroom door. What if he didn't open the closet or go in it for a day or two. You can't not go in your bathroom though. Can you imagine though?" Her wicked grin broke out into a laugh. A laugh that was almost villainous. "If he sat down for toilet time, and just soon as he turns his head to see a big bear standing there. Oh, especially if he was that hunting partner."
She hoped this didn't make her a terrible friend. Gosh cuz she felt like she was utterly Richard's friend through and through. Still.. This ... Clearly, she could already picture in her mind a scene too hilarious to not think about. The laughter continued to bubble up and come out till she felt tears touch the corners of her eyes. "You know what would be a shame though? Is not getting to watch that expression. I bet that's worth its weight in gold."
She tried to conjure up a mental picture of the bear being in a closet and freaking someone out by opening a closet door to see that. Somehow, it didn't seem quite as funny. It was funny still; just not quite as much.

"That's right," Daran said, admiring her pool of knowledge on the matter, even if she wasn't a pro. Given her cooking skills, though, it was likely that she heard of it in the culinary world. And she was certainly right. "Richard loves venison the most. If you ever want him to do the unthinkable, prepare that for him, and he'll be your obedient little dog in no time. Assuming he isn't already."
He knew he shouldn't have been telling Cherry this- it was completely sudden and unprofessional, but maybe he was so ridiculously bored and lonely that he desperately wanted someone to brag to. He didn't get the chance to do it often and he'd be lying if he said he didn't enjoy the occasional stroking of his ego every once and awhile. And when it came to his pranks, he was helpless to stop himself from talking. He kept his expression stoic, though he was certain Cherry caught the mischievous glint in his eyes. "Now, why would you think that? You suspect me to be the sinister type if I was going to allow that bear to get that close on purpose. I'm not wicked, not like Richard is, anyway."
But then, he couldn't stop himself, and a smile forced its way onto his face, as he considered her suggestion. "So, you're saying to put it in the shower. Curtains open or closed? And you know, people set up cameras all the time. We just have to figure out the perfect angle to capture his reaction, that's all. I knew a few people who could set that up... if you're interested?"
Cherry may have had a thing for cooking and sex, but Daran's addiction was pranks. And it had been so long since he pranked someone, especially Richard... now it had to be done!

This whole line of conversation had taken quite the delicious turn. Her attention was rapt. Smiles and flickers in her eyes all entirely devious. So captivated she was with this entire idea; she completely abated her attempts to flirt with this man. Most of her flirting was for personal entertainment. This was also another style of entertainment. The idea of scaring Richard well.
She felt more and more this was seriously making her a terrible friend. What kind of friend does these things. The kind who is bored and enticed with such horribly laughable schemes. Being told about how much Richard liked venison was also a huge score in her mind. That evidenced in a huge widening of her pupils. What a delightful little secret if one would even call it that. That might one day be valuable little thing to know. She loved knowing people's favorites. People's favorites and their secrets; though secrets were harder to obtain. Usually obtaining those were happy accidents.
"Oh. Thanks for sharing that with me." She started to almost feel like she owed him something. He gave her something that at some point would be very worth its knowing. For the time being though, she reserved herself not to offer anything.
This topic of the bear though. Blossoming like a flower that just had the right light shone down on it and bringing forth the opening up of itself. "Definitely the shower. Well, both. We leave the curtains only open where the bear is. That way it's mostly hid at first. I'm sure if he's half asleep in the morning; he won't even be noticing if he had left the curtain open or closed to begin with. And... if he skips using the toilet to just go straight for a shower and gets in. That would probably be just as exciting to watch."
A good angle? Her eyes narrowed as she thought about the bathroom and the best place for the camera. Then, her eyes moved up to lock in with Daran's. "What if... the camera was behind one of the bear's eyes? Some of the small camera's can be panned around. I've seen it before when shopping for friend's baby showers. They have cameras you can access with your phone. You can rotate it. I'm sure there has to be something like that but less bulky that can be put inside the bear. Or.. what about in the back of its mouth? That's a good spot. He would be reacting to the bear, and you'd be seeing it all unfold face to face."
Geez, she felt like a terrible person. Part of her felt guilty. She thought the world of Richard, but damn, if this didn't sound like a fun idea.
"One thing though. I would help you do this if I can watch too. Nothing is quite as exceptional as watching people in candid moments." So says the woman who sometimes snaps random candid shots of people in the park doing all sorts of random things in her spare time. They would never know she was looking. Nothing in particular either. Just scenes that caught her eye.

Daran liked to think he had a good control over his emotions, especially when it came to hiding his ill intention on someone else. It wasn't often that he pranked Richard, but when he did, they had to count for something. Even now, in his somewhat fragile state of mind, Daran found it impossible not to warm up to the idea, and Cherry's suggestions could only be compared to a shoulder devil perched close to his ear and goading him on.Not necessarily a bad looking shoulder devil, either...
"No problem at all. Y'never know when it'll come handy," he said, resisting the urge to wink if only because he was absolutely certain that she caught his drift. She was a smart and intelligent woman, not usually the type that Richard would normally invite into his home unless his tastes had changed. Maybe she could get some good food inside of his brother... he was looking rather slim as of late and he could have done with being fattened up a bit.
Any thought of simply getting back to work was lost on him, though, as his mind was more or less on the idea of the prank he and his little cohort were planning. The shower seemed like just as good a place as any and he could confirm all of Cherry's hypothesis. "Camera behind the eyes? I know a guy who can set that up. Real paranoid guy, too, always rigging cameras and recording devices to everything. He owes me a favor, so I can get a good deal on a camera and the installation. Shouldn't be a problem... I can probably have the whole thing set up by the end of the week."
Her request wouldn't go unheard, and only now did he seem to allow his mischevious smile to be seen in full. "I'm sorry... I thought that was already the plan? You wouldn't be adding your input if you had no intention of participating or watching it unfold, unless I assumed wrong?"
That was his way of sealing the deal, and he was eager to get this little prank started. It would have been harsh on Richard, but he had endured worse pranks before... surely this one wouldn't be too much for him? Worst case scenario, he could pin it all on Cherry.Graceangel We can start closing this up and get to plotting the follow up, if you're interested?

Quite the little shoulder devil she could be at times. Always encouraging others to do what was likely mostly just inappropriate, but sometimes, it was also just in general intentions of fun and entertainment. The idea that this might scare the living s**t out of someone she thought the world of; well, faithful are the wounds of a friend, right?
Hearing him tell her " Y'never know when it'll come in handy." Well, it was like he was reading her mind. She gave him a piercing look that was both knowing and suspicious at the same time. To ask if he had been reading her mind, that might be the same as admitting just how utterly transparent she was. She was transparent; if not all the time. Still, there was a world of difference between being transparent and admitting to being so. She decided not to say either way, and she just let her eye contact speak for her.
"Oh? Wow. How convenient. Well, better to take advantage of an owed favor than forget it was owed to you to begin with." By the end of the week! What was going on this weekend? She didn't know, but clearly, she'd be rearranging her schedule for said event.
She knew it! That mischevious smile. She flashed him a totally fake pouty smile. The kind that clearly showed she wasn't offended at all. "Oh, I guess I can't slip anything past you now can I? Oh, I'm in. I'll tell you a secret. I've never actively participated in someone else's pranks. Only ever listened to them or stories of them. At least my weekend won't be boring."
Yeah. He could pin it on her. She wouldn't care. Then again, she had never even done anything to upset or offend Richard; so she was grossly ignorant of whether that was dangerous or not. She was rather willing to take her chances though. Well, if it went badly, at least she could always smooth it over with an acquisition of some venison.
In fact, first thing she'd be doing when leaving is going to find out how hard it was to get a hold of it, how expensive, and if she could find someone to supply her whenever she wanted it.
"Ok partner. Do I need to meet you anywhere? Here... lemme put my phone number in your phone. You can call or text me when and where to go." Smooth. Totally smooth. ChibiGingi sounds good. if you want a last post of when/where. otherwise, this can be a wrap if you like

"I make it a habit to keep people in debt to me. Makes calling such favors quick, easy and very convenient in the future, because you never know when you're gonna need it." Daran said with an almost wicked grin, almost matching hers for a moment at the expense of breaking his face. He wasn't used to expressing such emotions like that, but surprisingly he didn't feel as much strain on his jaw muscles as he thought he would, which probably only confirmed that such wickedness was, unfortunately, natural for him too. Her confession only made him all the more eager to let her join in. "Everyone's got to start somewhere, right? I'll teach you all I know."
He usually didn't do his pranks with other people, at least if they weren't on the receiving end of them, but he would always welcome the company. It'd make things easier for him, assuming she didn't have a terrible poker face and ruined the punchline before they had the chance to execute it. He didn't think that'd be a problem with Cherry, though... he saw a lot of Richard in her, and Richard was pretty good at maintaining a good poker face. He talked over the details of their 'date', reaching into his pocket and pulling out a business card, setting it on the counter in front of her before reaching for the pie she brought in. "Give me a call... should have the camera installed by then, and I may need you to distract him and his hounds while I get the bear in his apartment. I'm going to put this pie in the freezer for when he gets here and I'll let him know you came by. That aught to brighten his day some."
At least now he had something to look forward to by the end of the week. Meeting new people and acquaintances of his brother wasn't all that bad...
