Then, she nearly had a run in with some kind of monster. She wished she had been drunk. Or, maybe she had been smoking something the local kids on her block always were. If she had, she would have been able to just explain away that monster to herself. She had never wanted to mentally acknowledge the crazy s**t that went down in this city. She felt it was only real and happening if you let it come out of your mouth that it was so. When that man came and saved her from it, he had told her to go home. At first, she was going to. Maybe it was just feeling all stirred up from an unusual night, but the last place she wanted to go was home.
Instead, here she found herself aimlessly wandering till she came to Noah's diner. She almost didn't even know she was going that way until she stopped to look up at the sign. Yeah. She had been avoiding it for a few weeks. Wasn't she going to maybe work here and help him out? Why hadn't she done that? Right. She hadn't heard much from him lately, and her interest in pursuing someone who didn't jump for her died deaths of their own nature. Still, she was there, so she figured she'd go see what was going on here.
She walked in and looked around. She didn't see that tall man she had felt so keenly interested in. She went in and took a seat at the end of the bar closest to the door. Just in case she decided to like... not stick around. Then, she saw the blonde hair in the hat. She waved to him, flagging him down. "Hi there!"
