At the sound of a cucco crowing in the distance, Kristina uttered a soft grunt as she shifted under her blankets. After a few moments, the girl sat up and rubbed her eyes and squinted into the darkness of her room.
Although there was already light outside, the cavern's interior where Kristina had made her home with her grandfather lacked any sort of outside light. The dim flare of a steadily burning torch nearby was the only thing that kept Kristina from bumping into walls in her room.
Still, it didn't help much when you're half asleep.
As an automatic response to the crowing a few minutes prior, Kristina uttered another noise and rolled out of bed, awkwardly shuffling toward the direction of the door. However, instead of getting to the door, Kristina's aim was a few feet off to the right and she promptly bumped into the wall.
"Mrh..." Unfazed, she took a few steps back, turned slightly to the left....
...and bumped into the wall again.
After another try, Kristina finally got to the door. Opening it, she shuffled through in her ReDead-like mode, bound to bump into something down the hall as she made her way outside.

((He's young Link, so about 10. I think... Anyway, the same age as in the beginning of the Ocarina of Time. But the game may take the turn of going into the future ('Cause it's always a possibility in the Legend of Zelda. Go into the shadow realm or travel through time.)))

(( let me get this straight. is this going to be an rpg or an rp with words. I need to know before i throw myself into a dungeons and dragons game without knowing how to play. please help me understand))

((This is gonna be a free-form role-playing game. Commonly shortened to RP. If it were D&D, or any system involving dice, I'd call it a Play-by-post game, as that's what I learned to call it.
So, I'll take over some characters as long as nobody controls them.))
Zelda and Impa rode fast, to Kokiri forest. All Zelda could think about on the way there was getting her urgent news to Link before he left. Wait... wasn't he supposed to leave the previous night? She could only hope she hadn't missed him.
They entered the forest village home of the Kokiri, still riding fast. Not until they got within sight of Link's house did they slow. Zelda climbed up the ladder as fast as she could, and burst through the door of Link's house. She was relieved to see Link still there. He was asleep.
"Link, wake up. I need to speak with you."

"Where do you want me to put this, Talon?" Malon asked her father. It was early in the morning, and she was up and doing her morning chores for the ranch. Her first thing on the list, was to feed all the horses in the stables.
"Just set it over there, Malon, for now," replied her father while nodding off to the place where he wanted her to place it.
"Ok."
She sat the half way empty bag of hay in the far off corrner of the stall. "So, um... What should I do now?"
Her father looked her up and down. "Why don't you go back to sleep. You look tired as it is. Besides, you're not used to waking up this early when Ingo's gone."
"But who will finnsh the rest of the work? I have to help you, father! You can't do it all by yourself!"
"Don't worry about me, just go do as I say." Malon nodded and walked out of the stables, whent back into the house and plopped down into her bed for some well deserved rest...

"Wh, Wha? What's going on? Oh, Zelda, it's you, what's up?" Link says sleeply. He sits up on his bed-couch and yawns.

"Link, there's something going on. I had a dream- No, a vision, and there's something happening and some evil has come to Hyrule and we need to stop it and I know you were going to go on a journey, but you must stop it and there are strange things going on, so please help us." Zelda stopped to take a breath, then exhaled slowly. "I fear someone has come to release Ganon and bring the evil back." She said a bit more calmly.

Slythe had been walking on the shores of Hyrule Lake, when he suddenly noticed a strange purple glow about the water.
" Hey whats this? "
Slythe dove into the water to investigate. As he swam closer to the purple light, Slythe saw recurring nightmares. Nightmares he had been having lately. Overwhelmed by the pain, Slythe slipped into unconsciousness.

"What?!" Link now fully awake, starts to pace his small room. "But...But you sealed him forever! I saw it with my own eyes! I don't know who this guy is, but he's not going to free Ganon from the dispair of death." Link grabs his trusty Kokiri Sword and new Hero Shield, getting ready for whateveer might come his way. "Fairy or not, I won't let him hurt you..." With that, he exits his house, honing his skills once again.

Malon shot up in her bed. She, yet again had that strange dream of a boy who had a glowing light with him. Exept, this time, he HAD no light with him for some reson... It was as if it had just... LEFT him for some reson...
"Come on, Malon," she said to herself after she made sure she was the only one in her room. "You KNOW that dreams don't really mean anything! ...Right? I mean, they're just... DREAMS. It's not like they're's REALLY a boy out there with a mysterious light... Well, of course there are those fairy people who live in the forest, but, that has nothing to do with them! ... Right?"
She was second guessing herself, now. Could there REALLY be a boy with some sorf of mysterous light with him? Or at least, HAD with him?
She didn't know... She decied to just go back outside to her father Talon...
