The warmer the weather outside got, the harder it was for Whisler to make his rounds. Sure his furry hat was lovely and stylish sometimes, but it was terribly hot when faced with a humid night, and he hated having to get a shower after a patrol. His hair just didn’t like being washed every darn night…but…that was just his luck.
On one hand, he got to be on team fuzzy knight, on the other hand…it seemed like team fuzzy knight needed a much more accessible ‘summer wear’ option. Or at least a hat rack for when he was patrolling.
But, tonight wasn’t too terrible outside. There was a nice cool breeze to counteract the residual heat from the daylight hours, and Whisler walked slowly, so as to not break a sweat…or at least to keep the sweating to a minimum.
He paused after a moment though, feeling a sensation that made the hair on the back of his neck stand up. Something was close. Something strong…and something that felt awful. Was this really going to be the moment where he met someone from the side of chaos? Either that’s what this was…or it was a mighty powerful youma… Either way, Whisler was not happy to be out alone…why hadn’t he called for someone else to join him?
The squire held tightly to his chain, drawing a deep breath. Well. So long as they didn’t know who he was when he was on their side…he should be okay. Mostly. Maybe.
Idly, Whisler looked around, wondering if he’d have any chance to run…at least he could start walking in the opposite direction…and that’s what he did…until he ran into the wall. Now he was just trapped. Figured.

As the city warmed as summer slowly approached, god he hated the idea of summer, the blonds uniform became warmer and warmer. While he liked his uniform, it really did fit him nicely, he was considering just removing and the cape and coat when he went out patrolling during the summer. It would keep him from over heating and potentially passing out from it; which would be a very unhealthy idea. Given this was a war he was sure some senshi or knight would take advantage of such a situation. Either way he'd just find some place to tuck his cape and coat when summer came on strong, it was for his own health that he do so. For now though he continued to wear his uniform, he could handle this warmth from it.
He also might be drinking some frozen drink to help with the slight heat he was dealing with, something espresso and pomegranate flavored. It was a frozen version of his favorite drink. As he sat on a roof top he felt something prickling at his senses and sighed. Someone from order...how lovely. Would they dare bother him though? It didn't seem like it, they also felt weaker than he was. Had it been any other night he might have left it alone but he was honestly bored and looking for something to do, the last several nights had been boring. Plus this was someone who wasn't a basic ranked individual - they'd earned more than your basic amount of power. It was best to see who this was and decide if they were a real threat, or some morally weak idiot who wasn't worth his time, maybe they would be someone with potential for joining the Negaverse. Those thoughts in mind had him teleporting, drink in hand, closer to the signal before he was walking along the sidewlak toward the aura he felt.
Turning into an alley way he called out, drink held in one hand. "I know your here...you might as well come out...I won't kill you." Yet, that was unsaid though.

Whisler swallowed, and adjusted his position. There was no need for this guy to know he was afraid. He put one foot up against the wall and crossed his arms, fixing his expression to one of bored amusement. “I’m too busy chilling here to go anywhere, buddy. But yeah. Here I am.”
He almost wished he could have a cigarette or something to at least make it look like he had a reason to be here…oh what a stupid move. Who in their right mind would just walk into a wall like that?
The squire drew in a deep breath, trying to steady his nerves. Worrying wouldn’t accomplish anything, it would only make things worse, to be honest. So here he was. Waiting for something to happen, a show down, or at least a window of escape. At the very least…he had his little chain to protect him. This was a thing.

"Chilling...really now. How amusing.." The words almost purred from the blond as he turned a blind corner in the alley and found the dead end where the knight was.
"Perhaps I should give you a reason to move, shall I?" He questioned as a brow rose and his head tilted a bit to the right. "I'm sure I could convince you to go somewhere." Oh, he was very sure of that actually. All he'd need was to summon his weapon and he was sure this knight would get going somewhere, anywhere but where he currently was.
"Tell me...who are you?" They looked...familiar in some way. He couldn't fully place his finger on it but the feeling he felt was one which told him he knew them, or had known them? It was accompanied by a slightly sick feeling nestling in the pit of his stomach.

Whisler blinked, looking at the Negaverse agent that had come into view. Well, at least he didn’t look very threatening…that was a plus if he ever saw one. Though…the threat about being given a reason to move made the squire pause and swallow. There was no reason to be so hostile. He hadn’t even done anything to this guy.
The next words that were spoken made Whisler sigh. “Yeah. Introductions. I’m uh. I’m Whisler. Squire of Polaris. And you are?” It was only polite that the guy introduce himself as well. Because…clearly that’s what gentleman bros did. And why couldn’t they be bros, after all…Whisler had pulled himself away from the chaos…surely this guy could too…
It seemed like this was the answer he was waiting for, and suddenly a smile grew on Whisler’s face. “Yeah. Whisler. Squire of Polaris, at your service.” Sometimes, internal monologues were the best things that he could have. They helped him figure things out so easily.

"I see..." Slowly he approached the other before halting, keeping some distance between them, and not because he was worried about being attacked by the knight. he was confident enough in himself, and his weapon, that he could handle whatever this knight could do to him. They didn't seem confident or strong either, just tall like many others.
"Polaris...I met another one of your kind and your princess." A while back, a good while back, but he remembered those run in's rather well. He didn't go further into what the meetings had detailed, why bother? It didn't matter here and now in any manner. He was simply stating something.
"Benitoite, General of the Negaverse." A name he was proud of, even if he wasn't proud of all his actions. He was proud of his name and his rank, of what he'd earned.
"Tell me, why do you look familiar to me and yet I have only met one knight of Polaris."

Whisler shrugged. “I’ve um. Met a Polaris knight too. She was cute, and very pretty.” He hesitated and shrugged again. “I uh. I haven’t met the Princess though, so that’ll be something cool when I do, I’m sure…but after it happens, I’ll bet I have a whole new level of information about all of this…stuff that I’ve gotten myself involved in.”
Just who was this guy? Had he known him when he was part of the Negaverse? Honestly, that was a rather nauseating thought, and the squire had to crack a smile. “I’m afraid I’m quite sure I’ve never seen you before in my life…maybe you and I knew each other in a different life, hm?”
A different time, a different place. A whole lot of different things that just weren’t applicable now. “You’re quite a striking guy though, so I’m sure I would remember a handsome face like yours if I had the chance to…”

he wondered, breifly, if this knight had met the one he had. Perhaps not, how many knights could that princess have? he suspected a fair few. After all there were too many knights in this city, he'd like to see that number minimized by whatever means, so she could have several female knights. he didn't ask about the one he'd encountered, it wasn't important at the moment. He seemed to hesitate though, or at least sound akward, when talking about his princess and eventually meeting her.
"Of course...she should answer some things. Though I'm sure others could perhaps answer more. As to what you've gotten yourself into? That's simple - a war. War is rather simple, at least on the surface. You should start with that and go from there." He stated, a hint of arrogance coating his words, slate hued eyes sweeping the others form. He should also avoid the summer, just as Benitoite himself should, and remove that stupid hat before he keeled over - not that Benitoite would mind in the least.
"A different life...I doubt it." He stated with a certain note of finality there, he didn't wish to even discuss the fact he'd once had some previous life as a knight, as one who was on the other side. No, that was something he disliked greatly and was glad that it was someone else, a past life or some such, and not him. Actions of someone else and not him. He still disliked it all but at least he could handle it that way, it was tolerable.
"If you had the chance...you make it sound as though you've forgotten things. Either you've had a head injury and lost memories, if you are in fact implying that you'd forgotten things, or you were once a Negaverse officer." Maybe he was stretching, reading too far into it, but this knight seemed familiar and yet not. He wanted to know why.

Whisler scoffed. “No need to sound so huffy. I’ve just been on my own for a lot of this war, so forgive me for not being as all powerful as you are. And, I’m just making conversation.” This guy was starting to really creep him out and get on his nerves all at the same time.
When he mentioned Whisler forgetting things, well. Well did that ever put the squire on guard. He shrugged. “I was merely trying to say that you’re handsome, and if I had ever had the chance to meet you before, I would have remembered a nice face like yours. And you have nice hair too. Not as nice as mine, but hey. Beggars can’t be choosers. It’s a close second. Maybe third. Who knows.”
Did this guy know him? Had he known him? The things that he was saying were really starting to make Whisler nervous. Maybe it was time to get the hell out of there. “Anyway. It was lovely to meet you, but I think I should be going. I have a lot of things to do, you know. Busy life. Girls to chase, and all that.”

"I spent a lot of time on my own as well, but also my fair share with others. I'd call it half and half." At the start he'd been with others on and off learning, though it felt like he'd been more on his own, and then later on he'd been taking others on as friends and under the wing sorts. He had opened up to more people as time had gone on, he'd had to. He'd sought people out, sought out energy signatures, and gotten close to many of them.
Staring he fingered his own ashen hair before eyeing the other. "I'd say my hair is nicer, but that's not to be vain." He simply took very good care of himself, all natural organic things. Once he'd found out about the chemicals in normal hair, and body, products he'd switched to all natural organic things. He didn't mind paying extra for any of it, or shipping things if he had to, it was well worth it. "And third...to whom would I be third?" He questioned the other. But he was handsome? It wasn't as though he'd never been complimented but to hear it from someone on the other side of the war was new to him, aside from that one senshi...spiders.
"Girls to chase and yet I'm handsome....No, your not leaving just yet. Answer me. You have my interest." he stated as he moved to keep the other from getting away. It may be nothing but it felt like something.

“Your hair is thick and lovely, but mine totally wins on length I think. And I prefer the color of mine. So…that’s all I’m saying. I’m sure that there are other guys with pretty hair out there, you might be third, I don’t know. I really don’t.” He shrugged, wanting desperately to just flee and get the heck home.
“I’m not sure what you want me to answer, honestly.” He tried to draw in a deep breath and only succeeded in making him a bit more uncomfortable as he coughed due to some sort of dust in the air. Or something. Nerves, maybe.
“But. Ah. Seriously. What do you want answered, I’m sure that I don’t have any uh. Fun answers for you with anything…or about anything, so I really think you should just, you know. Let me go home? Or something? Aha?”
His eyes darted around for a moment, before finally looking back at the agent of chaos in front of him. “Hey. It’s not that bad to like guys and girls. The prettier the better, I’m not really opposed to one gender or another. It’s just girls are a lot easier to flirt with…you know?”

"You forget the shine my hair has." He made sure he used the best products he could on his hair, for the express purpose of taking the best care of it that he possibly could so it looked it's best. He was vain, and he would admit it, so there was no point in hiding it by not pointing out that the other had missed mentioning the shine his hair had. "My hair was longer. And length isn't everything." he had, on more than one occasion, pulled the hair of someone in a fight. He'd also had his hair pulled and knew it could be a downfall and weakness for some.
"I'm looking to know if you were once a Negaverse officer and if so who you were. it's that simple." he stated as he cut to the chase and waited, tapping a foot, to see how the other would answer. he would let him go when he got an answer, one he was happy with, as he hoped to find out who this knight was. They seemed too damn familiar to the ashen blond.
