Pic/Description (either is fine): Human - Tall and elegant boned; dark brown skin; long, black curls; very light gray eyes, almond shaped; high cheekbones and a long, straight nose. Dragon - Serpentine, with light blue scales and gray eyes; her fins are sea-foam green with white veins.
Bio: Kalforatril Cymagen Moryetai was once a great and powerful dragon of the skies. Her sire had one of the greatest hoards in all the lands, part of which she had been given when she left the nesting grounds for her own mate and home. However, her travels took her too far away from the nesting grounds to provide assistance when the humans mounted their attack. Many of her brothers and sisters were destroyed, though her sire and queen survived and moved on to a new land to nest. The world is full of her siblings, and through careful communication in the last few decades, they have honed their abilities as shifters, assisted by Dragon Mages. Taking human names, they have decided to infiltrate as many aspects of the human world as they can to take back what is theirs.
As Rosiana, she is a deposed princess of a foreign land, driven into hiding due to wars and attempted assassinations. She is well learned and useful on both naval and pirate ships, but due to her mission as Kalforatril Cymagen Moryetai she has turned to piracy. Her most marketable skills are being able to settle a debt quietly and without actually losing anything for herself, and her extensive knowledge of geography and maps.
Anything Else? (optional): She may seem sweet sometimes, but she has quite the temper when provoked. She is a dragon after all.

Character Name: Vito Tolbert
Pirate or Dragon? (can be both): Pirate - Captain
Pic/Description (either is fine): Not very tall, standing at about 5'10". His face is sun weathered, turned dark brown from years of sailing. His hands are rough, he has bow legs, his teeth--what are left of them--are nothing pretty to look at, and he's been known to have his trouble with scurvy. His nose has been broken, and his hair is a curly mess that falls just below his ears. He looks to be perhaps in his thirties, which he probably is he stopped counting.
Bio: Vito was put on a ship at the age of five, to make money for his family. Unfortunately, they put him on a ship that would be attacked by pirates on his journey. The pirate captain took pity on the small boy and brought him up on his own ship, teaching him how to sail. By the time Vito was a young man, he was first mate, which meant that when his captain was captured at port for debt, and later executed for piracy, Vito inherited the ship. He's been sailing her himself ever since, taking on new crew when needed, and storing all of his treasure on an abandoned island that he took from someone else. Their treasure was combined with his, and no sign of them returning had deterred him.
