Where do I start?
You may be overwhelmed with the amount of Sub-categories and Topic here in the Guild. You may be wondering, "Where do I post my Topic?" Here is a basic explanation on each of the Sub-Categories. This will help you to decide where your topics are best suited for.

Advice Columns are for those who need advice or would like to give advice. It is centered around advice on owning your own apartment, relationship advice, advice on dealing with parents or peers, advice on homework, scheduling, sports and/or drugs and alcohol. It also will talk about serious things like suicide help, depression and anxiety help, eating disorders and addiction, however please understand that this Guild contains advice based on our own personal experience and is by no means advice from registered doctors, health nurses or police. If you are in a life threatening situation please contact local authorities ASAP. This guild is here to help you in basic situations and stresses the fact that we promote the use of Doctors, Police and Helplines in the event of an emergency.

~+~+~+~+~+~+~ We are a very big supporter in equality. This sub-category is a positive space zone that supports the LGBT in the best way that we can. Here you can find advice on how to come to terms with your sexuality, what is LGBT and how to support friends and family that 'come out', how to create positive spaces at your school or workplace and how to cope with a society that doesn't understand. This is a learning environment, because the best way to deal with judgement is to talk about it and learn.

Exactly like the title explains, this is for anything Anime and manga related. Cosplay and Conventions are an added bonus. Talk about your favourite manga or anime. What your OTP is. Here is where you can figure out which of your friends you are going to meet at a convention. Need help making a Costume? No problem. Get some advice on making Cosplay items or finding good cosplay items for cheap.

I think in this day and age we all have Youtube accounts and tumblr accounts or accounts on various social media websites. Here is a safe spot to talk about what's happening in the social media world. For example; things like awesome youtube videos; vine compilations or just meet the cosplayers on tumblr are perfect for this topic. Talk about your blog on tumblr, generate followers for twitter or tumblr. Made a new video? As long as it is under PG-13, post it here.
To prevent computers from crashing do not post direct youtube videos in the threads. Please post a link instead. Thank you.

I think everyone on Gaia knows what this Sub-Category is for, but just in case; welcome to the Roleplay Thread. That's right. Post an epic roleplay for you and your friends here in The Nerd Guide. Please make sure it follows Gaia Terms Of Service and the many rules of the Guild. We also support Guild/Forum roleplays. Please post a link to the Forum and a link to the roleplay OOC or post a banner to your Guild and get some recruits. It all starts here. Roleplay ON!

Well if the above sub-categories don't fit your needs, here is the place to put it. Anything random, unique, artistic, creative that doesn't yet have a home yet can be placed here. You can also place rate my avi threads, contest threads, art shops and marketplace ads here. We also accept support threads to Guilds that are not a roleplay in this category. You can also affiliate with our guild and gain access to our forum thread as well. Anything goes in this forum. Ranting is also accepted in this forum.
