The day of the Carnival approaches! There are extensive grounds at the beach side carnival full of lively music, games, rides, and shows. It seems Mr. Pembrose has once again spared no expense. The carnival is open to anyone who wishes to pay for entry. Those that signed up for the Blind Date Remix get entry bracelets granting them free access to everything in the park. In true theatric fashion Hayden has big signs out front with the names of the couples so they can meet:

Amigar - Silas
Lianna – Angel
Demetrius – Emily
Zach – Failyn
Christobelle - Donovan

Failyn breathed in and out as she showed the ticketbooth clerk her bracelet that had come with the summons for the blind date. She had changed her outfit from usual preppy dresses into something more fitting for the heat and long walk through the carnival. The dress (with shorts underneath because a proper lady would not go to such a social place without protection) and pair of sandals she thought would offset her usual look.

She even did her makeup a bit, letting her curly white hair fall to her shoulders instead of it's usual pinup. Thanks to her korean/america heritage, the dress flowed well with her slim frail features. She wrapped her purse over her shoulder, staring at the spot where her name was boldly printed on a sign and then looked around.

Well at least she knew her date was...Zach...something. Just Zach.

Donovan hadn't really wanted to do this but he'd been talked into it by a drinking companion. Christobelle seemed like a pretty enough name as he shifted uncomfortably by the sign that bore his own moniker. Blind dates weren't really his style but Hayden had made it sound like a fun time even if he didn't meet "the one." The carnival was certainly lively and he was a personable sort of guy. No matter what happened he was determined to make the best of it.

He'd brought flowers, anyway. An old fashioned gesture, maybe, but he wanted to be sweet and Pappy would have expected it. He had expected any grandchild of his to treat women properly. Well, anyone, but especially women. That was his era: the whole door opening, chair pulling, flowers and candies era. He was reasonably dressed up, for him anyway, and hoped it would work out alright in the end.

Well, Emily hadn't expected the event to be so...

Something she'd suspect her Dad of running for others. She'd pried and cajoled to try getting her father to sign up of course, but the encroaching threat of a cold or repiratory infection kept him home the day she went, so Emily had gone alone.

She wasn't sure she made the wisest choice and wondered if the signs were a sort-of payback for Wren's efforts to play Cupid with her father's love life. Regardless, Emily approached the sign, wearing a nicer outfits (slacks, of course; and a button up blouse) and only light makeup today, wondering if her chain earring was, as always, too much or just right, and she settled as neutrally as possible by her sign, looking around curiously.

At least Demetrius was an interesting name and in no way plain or something, but who knew. Wren pondered, wondering what kind of man this would be. Someone like Dad? No, no, a thousand times no, the fussing would be terrible. Maybe Uncle Tom?..... Nope not entertaining the thought. Well maybe she'd get lucky and he'd be like her cousins. Her eldest cousin was pretty awesome and so was second eldest, or perhaps her brother was the personality type. That would be fun. As long as the boy wasn't.... Well.... Boring, she was good.

She just hoped he didn't think she was weird. Note to self - do not use standard Loki-Greeting Procedure.

Silas signed up looking for a day of fun and flirtation and hoping to meet a nice girl. He tried not to carry any expectations in his head about who he'd meet, and was sort of succeeding. He really had no idea who he was going to meet. He looked at the other name on the sign: "Amigar." A unique name for sure. Silas put his hands in his pockets and stood around, looking towards the entrance for anyone who appeared to be heading in his direction.

What would this event be like, he wondered as he began his adventure. Walking slowly but surely to the Carnival entrance.

Demetrius approached the park with his hair slicked back nicely. Wearing a pair of dress slacks, a white buttoned up collared shirt, with some brown shoes. He wasn't exactly sure what he was supposed to wear to these sorts of events. His closet was sure proof of that with his many track suits and sweet pants. He was more used to track and outdoors sorts of things. Though his friends had assured him this outfit would be just fine, he hoped they were right for his and his dates sake.

Part of him was honestly starting to wondering if he made the right choice. After all he hadn't been on a date in a long time or really ever. Unless you count talking to the stars a date. Since they could be quite the company at times that was for sure. They just didn't really answer back was the main problem he faced with them.

Though there was always a first time for everything he decided as he took one long deep breath and glanced at the list of names. He took his finger and moved it down the list. Until he ran into his name and used his finger to trace over towards the name next to it.

"Emily," he whispered quietly but a little loud as he took his finger off the list and put it by his side. What a beautiful name, much simpler then mine for sure - He thought with a smile as he began to look around the entrance for someone who may fit the lovely name. Since after all someone with a name like that, couldn't be anything but lovely he thought as he continued to look around.

Amigar smiled shyly but brightly as she walked up to the carnival that was busting with life and entertainment. Her hands were elegantly placed by her side as she walked at a mild pace.

She had tried her best to dress for the occasion. As her hair had two braids in front with some purple bows, and the rest of her hair hung downwards. While her dress was purple in color with some ruffles, a bow around the waist, and white shirt underneath. With some cute white leggings, a purple heart scarf, and some simple yet stylish sneakers. In her mind this outfit seemed like the best fit, plus it was one of her favorites. She just really hoped her blind date would like it as well. Since it was really hard dressing up for someone you had never before.

Yet despite her cute outfit. She was still so nervous, but yet at the same time very excited! She had never done anything like this before in her life. Which was one of the reasons she decided to give it a shot, well that and it just seemed like a fun new adventure. Since it really was a win-win situation too. Be it she left with a new friend or something entirely different.

Shaking her head slightly she focused on the list that was posted directly in front of her. Her eyes shined brightly in the light as she glanced for the name next to hers. "Silas," she said aloud with a smile before continuing,"Well that's a unique yet simple name. I like it."

Emily watched people come and go, finding names and then searching for their partners, and she simply watched each pass, waving cooly. Of course, this one piqued her curiousity. A blouse, slacks - similar shoes? Well, if nothing else it was a rather amusing cooincidence, and she grinned, waving a bit politely. Her date or not, she grew up apreciating a goot business-formal outfit, and she smiled warmly.

"Nice outfit. Looks good."

Demetrius turned around at the sudden compliment. Since compliments were definitely not something he received that often at all it caught him a bit off guard. Even if he didn't show it. "Well thank you," he said, "I'm glad someone likes it. I hope my blind date feels the same." He said with a bit of a nervous chuckle.

As soon as he finished turning around he noticed that the voice belonged to a girl. A girl in slacks and a button up blouse, with shoes close to his. They looked like a close to perfect match. Even though she pulled it off far better than he could ever dream too. Just at that thought alone He couldn't help but smile. What a wonderful coincidence, even if she wasn't his date. Meeting people couldn't hurt after all, until he found her of course. Company was always a pleasure.

"Well Might I say you look really nice yourself. Almost like we we're made to meet," he said with a chuckle as he reached out his hand in the form of a handshake. "I'm Demetruis, and it's a pleasure to meet you Mi'lady." he spoke with a kind and gentle smile.

"Girls vary really, but it's a good shot." Emily chuckled. "I'm more worried mine will be run off. I mean. girl in pants."

She laughed some, still smiling and shaking her head.

"That and the geek thing."

Really. Most guys intimidated really easily. She smiled, then grinned at the name.

"Well what do you know. Emily, nice to meet you. I highly suspect you're the one I'm waiting for? hope you like to have fun, Demetrius." She grinned. "I'm big on fair rides and games."

Silas couldn't help but smile at the girl who approached. Blonde hair, blue eyes, dressed nice... at the very least, she was a looker. Her opening was pleasant enough, as well. "Well, what do you know? I was thinking about your name, too." He extended his hand out in greeting. "As the sign says up there, I'm Silas, and you're... Amigar, right? Does that have any special meaning?" He made a mental note to compliment her on the dress later. No, it would not be flattery (for the most part, anyway); a nice dress was a nice dress.

That Christabelle was nervous would have been the understatement of the year.

At her stupid brother's insistence (and her father's request to be a chaperon), the gray-haired young woman had dressed herself up in the finest her wardrobe had to offer: the cool brown and tiered skirt that stopped at the knee, close-toed and almost librarianesque black dress shoes and a simple, lacy, long-sleeved beige blouse. She looked too modest and almost downright mousy - all she needed was a pair of glasses. It was a very sharp contrast to the regalia she had donned when powered up.

She knew his name was Donovan, which sounded nice enough, but honestly, Christa had no idea how to spot him in a crowd. She carried with her a blank, leatherbound journal as a "sorry for wasting your time" sort of gift. Walking about, she caught someone out of the corner of her eye holding a bouquet of flowers and her heart took a nosedive into her stomach. Assuming this was him and not some random guy I'm about to creep on... She thought herself brave but found it was only when in senshi form that she had any kind of self-confidence.

"Ah... h-hello? Are you... Donovan?" came a timid voice from somewhere behind him and to his left. Christa approached very cautiously, lest she be mistaken for a drunk or a serial killer.

Zach Calloway was walking, no, strutting on air, head filled with the delights and scents and sounds of not only the carnival, but of lovely women. Failyn was her name, he knew that much, and didn't need to know anything else. He carried with him a small box of candies, none of which were chocolate (for those would melt in the heat!) Instead, the box was filled with jelly beans and Zach was of the opinion that jelly beans could tell you much about a person by their flavor selection. Were they adventurous? Spicy? Or were they more on the bland side?

There was only one way to find out.

Dress slacks in the crispest black were the only nice things Zach had in his closet. He actually washed his t-shirt before arriving and upon it was not a single safety pin, checkerboard or obscure band reference. It was just plain white, something he was wholly unaccustomed to.

Spotting a delightful young lady by the ticket both, Zach wasted no time in making his presence known. "Hey! Are you Failyn? What's up! I'm Zach, it's very nice to meet you. I brought you some candy?" With a smile flashing, he handed the box to Failyn, hoping his slight nervousness didn't show through the bravado.

Failyn, you're a nice girl. You don't deserve this. @_@

"Christabelle?"

Donovan couldn't believe it as she approached. His mind strayed to one of the many other less reputable connotations of librarians before a mental b***h slap brought him solely back into the present again. She was adorable! More than that, she was very pretty. He immediately held out the bouquet of flowers glad now that his Pappy had taught him such niceties. Maybe this date thing wasn't going to be do bad...

"I hope you like carnivals. It seems it is the back drop for our date."

He motioned to the booth giving out bracelets for free admission and such to the couples participating in Hayden's event. There were pleasant smells in the air of the surf and the many really bad for you food options all around the place. There were rides but she seemed a bit dainty in his opinion and he wasn't sure she'd like those.

"Some games, perhaps? I might try to win you a teddy bear."

That was exactly what the hunks did in this situation in the old films, right? She had to walk out of there with the most ginormous bear he could find even if he had to pay someone for it. Though, obviously, it was more sporting if he actually won it.

Fai's gaze was drawn to the young man addressing her, giving him a very casual once over. He wasn't particularly....fancy, which according to her setting was okay, but she did have a image of a much more..older distingushed gentleman. As such, she always thought of Nysa.

Clearing her thoughts of the knight (because obviously she shouldn't be thinking such silly things-) She smiled at Zach, taking the box of candies with a half interested look. A typical gift on a date, she had read. chocolates and roses. She was a bit disappointed when there was no flowers, but she assumed it might be because of their location.

She did open it though, expecting to see heavy rich chocolates and was rewarded with colorful beans across the white background of the box. She stared at them for a second, debating on the curveball she had been thrown before taking a lime green and popped it in her mouth. Green apple? Delicious.

"Good evening." She politely put the box's lid over it, and then tucked it in her bag. "Yes, I'm Failyn. Failyn Namgung, Crystal Academy junior." She cocked her head a little bit. "Thank you for the gift. I do apologize as I hadn't thought to get you one as well." She gnawed on her lip, attempting to be cool but battling with her own nervousness. "Do...Would you like to walk around?" She held up her wrist, "I'm told that this allows to free access, and I've never really been to a carnival before."
