Yes, im going to attempt this again.
Last year I didn't get near enough interest/commitment, but i'm willing to put out feelers again.
I'm looking to start a gaian fantasy football league on either ESPN.Com or NFL.Com. Looking for a 10-12 person league with a Snake Draft in a PPR format (points per reception).
For those who do not know what Fantasy Football is but are interested in learning, here's the cliff notes.
Each player drafts a 9 person team consisting of a Quarterback, 2 Running Backs, 2 Wide Recievers, a Tight End, a Flex Player (can be a tight end, running back, or receiver,) a Defense (the entire defense of an NFL team), and a Field Goal Kicker.
Your players on your team can come from ANY NFL TEAM. Points are awarded in such a manner:
Touchdown: 6 points (from the quarter back, running back, tight end, or wide reciever, meaning if you have the Quarterback AND the receiver that made the touchdown, you earn 12 points, plus one point for the actual pass reception).
10 yards gained: 1 point (from running back, wide receiver, tight end, or rushing quarter back)
25 passing yards gained: 1 point (for quarter back only)
Field Goal: (Kicker only. 3 points for 39 yards or less. 4 points for 40-49 yards. 5 points for 50-59 yards, etc.)
Receptions: 1 point (rewarded ANY TIME a receiver, running back, or tight end make a completed pass)
Extra point kick: 1 point (Kicker only)
Two Point Conversion: 2 points (For Quarter back, Receiver, tight end, or running back.)
Your players also lose points for Interceptions (one point), Fumbles, (1 point), and Sacks (1 point)
Defensive Points: Start with Ten Points at beginning of week. Sack: +1 Point Interception: +3 Points Fumble: +1 Point Touchdown: +6 points (+however the turnover was caused) Safety: + 2 points
If the defense allows points against them, they also lose points depending on how many points they have allowed during the game. Points can also be lost by allowing too many yards, but these points are flexible in every league.
Each Weak, a head to head matchup between two teams, 5-6 games over all each week, determines the wins and losses. Each week, one team is selected as the 'Home Team' and gets a 3 point advantage. Points are combined for the entire team, negative points are possible, and the team with the highest combined score by the end of an entire week of football, wins that game. Ties are broken on the basis of combined points scored including the BENCH

Team Name: No Punt Intended - 134 QB: Aaron Rodgers - 25 RB1: Alfred Morris - 14 RB2: Le'Veon Bell - 15 WR1: Calvin Johnson - 20 WR2: Percy Harvin - 18 TE: Rob Gronkowski - 14 Flex: Heath Miller - 4 Defense: Seattle Seahawks - 20 Kicker: Steven Hauschka - 4
In this scenario, No Punt Intended wins this weak over his matchup with Legion of Dumerville.
The draft occurs as such: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. 10. 9. 8. 7. 6. 5. 4. 3. 2. 1. 1. Etc. This is to ensure fairness so the number one pick doesn't have a massive advantage.
Now I mentioned the Bench, each team is allowed a 6 person bench that can be swapped in or out to the main roster at any time before a Fantasy Week begins. Once kickoffs happens for a players game, they are locked in to that week. There is also a free agency to dabble in, and a waiver wire, trades can be made between teams, but that is advanced stuff to be explained later.
All of these statistics for scoring, as well as all roster moves, and the draft, happens online. There are apps for your phones and tablets that help you change your team at any time and track your scores. It is a very easy thing to be a part of, and I ran three different teams last year.
