Zachary, his brother, was his only friend. they never fought unless it was sparring and over cute girls in the castle. they were everything to each other. inseparable. well almost. both of them became of vampire maturity at 21. that is where their growing up stopped and so did their bonding. time was closing in on the new ruler for the clan. for 200 years, their friend ship fell apart. since the decision could not be made between them, there was a scheduled duel between them. it was for the throne and the crown. as much as Alex hated fighting his brother, he had to. both being shadow wielders, the fight was well evened out and waged on for hours and hours. growing tired of this pointless game, Alex hesitated with the final blow. Zach took advantage and swung a final blow. Alex was exiled out and was now labeled an out cast as his brother was crowned.
