Thread~ I'll do a starter post with Orlando, and then you can respond and I'll do a little coaching. :3
Orlando circled the small kelp forest that served as their home, waiting for Illy to wake up. It was going to be a beautiful day - the sun made the water blue as sapphires, and he could already feel heat seeping into the water. "Illyyyyyy," he whispered, poking his nose through a few fronds of kelp. "Wake up, it's daylight."

 Illy's eyes fluttered and then opened slowly as she heard her friends voice whisper out her name. She felt the warmth on her skin and fins as the sunlight heated the waters. Orlando and Illy had planed to investigate a very promising looking shipwreck today. "I am up Orlando" She said with a sleep tone to her voice.

Scooting forward through the swaying kelp, Orlando tugged gently at Illy's hair. "Up means get out of bed, silly," he said, laughing his squeaky dolphin laugh. "It'll be dark by the time we get there at this rate, come oooooon." Backing out of the kelp again, he did his version of pacing - swimming back and forth through the flimsy wall that the fronds made, bugging her every few seconds. "Up, up, uuuuuup!" he sang, giggling a little bit more. He was going to have to start really singing at her sometime soon if he wanted some action from her - his voice was as squeaky as his laugh, and he knew it irritated her, which was half the fun.

Illy nodded slowly to Orlando. As he kept pestering her and singing to her with his high pitch voice she started to stir backing up a bit as if moving out of the kelp bed. "I'm coming 'Lando." She really did want to go but the night before had been a long one. They had scouted out this shipwreck checking for any hazards that could come up while they were treasure hunting and they had stayed out late. Slowly she continued backing out of the kelp bed. At least she was moving now.

And suddenly she was up! Squeaking happily, Orlando backed out of the kelp right ahead of her, like a little back-out train. "Yay!" he said, grinning, little white pointy teeth showing in his jaws. As he scooted into open water, he did a little twirl, dancing the best he could. "Who's going to be lookout today? Should we take turns in different parts of the ship?" Whatever she thought, he just wanted a chance at the treasure. His pearls didn't feel right without an extra necklace or bracelet weighing him down, and he'd traded all his other treasures for flowers... And flowers didn't do so well under water for long periods of time. But that didn't stop him from trading away for them, anyway. "Can I go first?"

Illy stretched out uncurling her tail and raising her front legs over her head. "Yeah sure, turns sound good to me." She smiled to her friend as she looked around and then started swimming toward the wreck. "You can go first Orlando, I will be lookout. Now hurry we don't want to lose all our day time." She start to swim a little faster.((Sorry it's kinda crappy. I just felt so bad for taking so long to respond >///<))
