Hair// Her once long, lustrous black hair was chopped off shortly after her confrontation with her parents. She had cut it up to just above her shoulders, but she's letting it grow out again and it currently falls between her shoulder blades rather than to the small of her back. Her bangs are still kept long and are constantly falling over her eyes, but she's never fussed by that and she rather likes the length it's at now and is planning on keeping it as it is.
Eyes// her eyes are such a dark blue they almost appear black and are fringed with thick, black lashes. if she ever wears make up she usually sticks to natural shades and keeps it light.
Height// 5'7"
Overall Appearance// Obie is slender and willowy with what most would say is the perfect hourglass figure. she moves with utmost grace and aloofness. we're she once stuck to her usual garb of pleated skirts and blouses, she's become much more relaxed in her attire. she's still not one to bare her midrift, but she likes form fitting clothes that are tasteful and nice.
Marks/Scars// Obie has a small birthmark high on her right cheek, just under the far corner of her eye that slightly resembles a small up-side down heart. On her left hip is a crying fairy, a tattoo she got in rememberance of Jonathan, her childhood friend and, later on, lover whom she lost to a drug overdose. she has a new tattoo that she got in Athens that graces the small of her back. it's the Greek symbol omega with a butterfly in the center of it and a delicate tribal pattern stretches away from it towards her hips.
Personality// once colder than a block of ice, her persona has warmed quite considerably. she's not as nervous or reclusive around people, but she's still a little hesistant when being touched by people she doesn't know very well. her once solmen features tend to carry a small smile and her eyes seem to light up more frequently with her dry sense of humor. also, it's not as uncommon to hear her laughter these days either.
Clubs// Shutensa Program
Likes// anything in any science field, night, cool, rainy days, reading anything she can get her hands on, doing homework, tending her bonsais, and, on very rare occasions, enjoying a smoke
Dislikes// being lonely and ignored, losing total control of herself and major situations, hamsters, heights
History//
her past is not something she's proud of by any means, but at the same time she is now able to see the blessing in disguise that it had been. being sent away from the oppressive, neglect her adoptive parents raised her with was the best thing that could have ever happened to her.
just before she left for Athens for a freshman exchange program funded by the Aquila University affiliates, she returned home for the first time in about a year. the result was an epic argument leading to her family completely disowning her. that part didn't bother her too much, as they had never really been there for her to begin with. after a short bout of shock at realizing that she had absolutely nothing, she returned to Japan and realized that she was quite wrong.
now attending Aquila University through scholarships based out of the Shutensa project, Obsidian is hoping to receive her pre-med degree and getting accepted to a medical school to eventually become a pediatrician.

.:Friends:. Obie 4laugh Jess (Williams) Kiriyama: My old archery sensei. Though she's moved back home to Osaka and won't be returning to Aquila, she and I stay in touch regularly. She and I have been through a lot together. I guess in a way, she's the sister that I never had and didn't realize I needed. Obie heart Rashne Kusani: It's amazing where friendship will turn up. When we first met I had been certain we wouldn't have a thing in common or get along. I was very wrong on both accounts. He and I have a lot of common aspirations and even insecurities, and a truer friend I have never had. -Update- a truer friend I will never find either. After two years of hoping and pretending, we have finally admitted how we truly feel for each other and I could never be happier. Obie xd Scarlett Quixote: Scarlett was the first person I -really- met at the Academy. Though it started off rough, she and I have become very good friends. While I was gone my freshman year I sent her postcards, emails, and trinkets from Athens while she sent me playbills, emails and letters. I'm so proud of her great success and now that I'm back I can't wait to see her perform. I've always admired her dancing and passion.

They believe wearing it enhances your spirit." He gave a small shrug. "I thought it would suit you. Both aesthetically and spiritually. If that makes any sense."Ra  Ra smiled as he watched her.
"It is very protective. Aparently it shileds against negativity, enhances health, heightens courage and enjoyment of life." He said reeling off what he had looked up on the internet after he had bought it.
It was so obvious he would have thought that she would have got it straight away.
"It's obsidian." He said looking down at the small guardian angel from Peru.

Personality// ice cold would be the first words that would pop into people's minds when asked about Obie. she doesn't warm up to people easily and it takes some effort to break through her barriers, but if you are so lucky, she's a very bright, intelligent, caring girl with a rather dry sense of humor

History// Obie is adopted, but she has always come in second place to her parents' natural child. living a life full of neglect, Obie fell prey to her only friend's vices: drugs. after her friend overdosed on heroine, Obie felt the bitterness of losing something you didn't even realize you had and fell deeper into her addiction. after a rather reckless stunt that almost killed her as well, her parents' attention was finally drawn to their adopted brethren's addiction and were furious. after a short stint in rehab they immediately shipped her off to Aquila to get her as far away from their precious Isabel as they possibly could.

heart Obie Tomoki Hoshino: When I first met Tomoki, I was certain he had lost his marbles. But he was persistant in showing me that he was genuine. We dated my senior year of high school and he promised he would wait for me when I return from my freshman exchange program in Athens, even though I told him it would be okay to date other people. We'll just have to see how things stand when I start my sophomore year back at Aquila University.
