Fruit Punch was just waking up from a power nap on the couch in his home, recovering from a pretty busy work shift earlier in the evening. Tonight he was planning on hanging out with Morning Glory, his bff whom he hadn't seen in an alarmingly long amount of time. They both had busy schedules since they both had jobs so he wasn't really worried that he hadn't heard from her in a while, but he was looking forward to catching up with his friend regardless. He got up and stretched before walking into the kitchen, getting out some glasses, ice, and whiskey because he knew Glory would be here soon and it was his favorite thing to bust out the liquor for his favorite friends rather than give them beer like ordinary guests. He brought the supplies to the living room table to make sure they were comfortable by the couch, knowing like usual they'd have a movie night.
"What kind of movie should we watch..?" The bartender began to skim through his DVD collection, wondering if Glory would be in the mood for a scary movie or an action/drama film. Eh, he'd just let her decide, since she was coming all the way to his house in the first place. He grabbed the remote to both the TV and the DVD player, turning them both on just when he heard a knock at the front door. "Come on in, Glory. It's open! He called, making sure she would hear him while he set the remotes down on the ottoman, about to pour them both some drinks.
