Personality:Farvardin is very puppy-ish in nature. She is very excitable like a puppy and curious like one too. She enjoys discovering new things but due to this is distracted very easily. This becomes a problem at times as people get fed up with her constantly drifting attention. Not to mention that some get irritated at how excited she gets over the smallest of things or how happy she is all the time.
She is also very loyal like a puppy or dog. Once you are her friend, you are her friend for life. She will stick by you through good and bad and will take your side. Even if you are wrong she'll be on your side; although she may offer small advice of 'are you sure this is right?' or 'shouldn't you apologize?'.
Due to her wandering attention span, Farvardin has a bad habit of getting lost. Not to mention she is directionally challenged. If she does not have a person right next to her she is guaranteed to get lost. Heck even with someone right there she runs a chance to get lost if they are not paying close attention to her. Getting lost has never bothered her though since it presents opportunities for her to learn something new or discover something.
As mentioned before Farvardin is constantly happy. She always looks to the bright side of things. To some they would say that she is naive but really she just chooses to get over the bad things that happen or ignore them. Others would say that with her main expressed feeling being happiness that she cannot express other emotions at all or very well. She can express other emotions but she figures that by acting happy all the time that she will eventually become happy and that the bad times will pass by faster.
Farvardin loves to hunt and to fight as well. She loves the challenge that both activities present. She had to work hard to become a good hunter and even harder to become a decent fighter. She never backs down from a challenge even if it is an impossible one. She wants to join the Scouting Legion because she feels that is one of the greatest challenges and fights in the world.
Farvardin isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. She's not dumb but she's not super smart. She knows enough to survive on her own in the wilds but she doesn't know much about cities or how to behave in them. She went to school up until middle school where she dropped out to help her father out. She is also a bit dense when it comes to interacting with other people and in order to actually get something (say someone is picking on you cause they like you) she would have to be told it.
She is also very gullible and will believe anything anyone says as long as it's about something she doesn't know about. If someone tries to lie about something she knows about she won't believe them since she knows the truth. She will also have a harder time trusting them afterwards. Naturally she is very trusting with others which sometimes leads to her gullibility. She trusts easily and would be an easy target for someone to rip off. Of course she probably wouldn't try to make them pay for any misfortune she may have unless it made her mad or it affected someone else (such as a friend). Then it would be war upon the person who ripped her off.
History:Farvardin lives with her father and younger brother in a remote village in the mountains inside wall Maria. She used to have an older brother who was part of the Military Police. He died during a patrol where he stumbled upon a secret meeting of citizens who were planning on attacking a group of traders. This happened when she was 7.
Farvardin loved her older brother and before he was buried took his goggles and wears them to this day. She wears them as a reminder of what her brother wanted to do: protect the citizens and correct any corruption in the military. She doesn't share the same goals as him other than to protect the citizens but she felt that they were good goals to have.
Her mother died from an illness shortly after her little brother was born. Her little brother is now 6 and was born when she was 13. She was excited to have a new brother and looking forward to being a role model to him. However he doesn't seem to like her and avoids her as much as possible.
Farvardin's mother never had much influence in her life, even though she tried to make Farvardin act more like a girl. But she knew a lost cause and gave up. Instead her mother tried to teach her valuable lessons and the one that stuck is that a smile makes life better.
Her father taught her how to hunt and most of the wilderness survival information she knows. He also got the other hunters to mark the hunting trails so she can find her way home if she has to hunt by herself. He knows how easily she gets lost and thinks it's a good way for her to learn and experience new things. So he doesn't get too worried when she doesn't show up for days at time.
As Farvardin grew up the kids used to pick on her because of a multitude of things: her older brother, her getting lost all the time, her being happy all the time meant she was dumb, etc. Instead of getting upset she would plaster a big smile on her face and acted like she didn't know what they were talking about. She had one good friend: a girl named Emily. Emily was sickly most of the time and was also more of a girly-girl. The other kids began to pick on Emily for hanging with Farvardin and then began to pick on her for being so sick. Farvardin took great offense at that and got into her first fight. She was beaten up pretty badly but the rush she got from fighting made her forget about any injuries she had.
Her older brother and father taught her how to fight. Just simple stuff like how to defend and how to throw a punch. The rest she taught herself by simply fighting the other kids. Soon they learned to not mess with her friends and she wouldn't try to fight them. Of course she isn't the best fighter but she is pretty decent at 'street' fighting or taking a fight to a more advantageous field like the forest. She is good at sneak attacks in the forest since she has spent so much time there.
Farvardin's father is one of the hunters in the village. He sells the meat and pelts to people in the village or traders that stop by. Her little brother helps out by tending to any crops the village is growing and gathering firewood to sell. Farvardin is also a hunter and makes some coin that way but she also makes and sells bows and arrows to the other hunters. There is only one other man in the village who makes bows and arrows (he is the man who taught her how to make them) so she gets a little bit of business that way.
