Create a new thread in this forum titled "EXPLORING: yourusername"
Replace "yourusername" with... your username.

You may choose to begin in any region, it doesn't matter which one.
You always start in the starter town--that is the first town listed under the region.
When you create a thread, roll a single d4 ( 4-sided dice ).

To explore, roll 2d4 ( 2 4-sided die ).
No matter what you roll, you will travel to the next town in the list/path.
What you roll determines if you encounter a Pokemon on your way to the next town!
Exciting!
If one of the rolls matches your starting roll, you encounter a Pokemon!
( You're allowed to choose which Pokemon from that region that you encounter! )
Now that you've encountered a Pokemon, roll one more d4!
If it's a 1? Congratulations! You win that Pokemon and can head over to the certing thread to claim it!
But be sure you also post in the main thread that you claimed a Pokemon! ( And which one it is! )
If it's anything other than a 1... Sorry. You'll have to encounter it again.

What happens when you reach the end of the path?
Well! You either choose a new region to travel to, or you start over in the same region!
But oh my gosh!
If you travel to a new region you have a chance to run into one of the special Pokemon!
When traveling to a new region, roll a d10 ( 10-sided die ).
If you match your first roll in the thread you encounter a special Pokemon! ( You get to pick this, too! )
If not, well, you go to the new region, but don't encounter anything on your way.
Once you encounter a special Pokemon...
You roll a d6 to see if you catch it. They're harder to encounter, but only a little harder to catch.
If you roll a 1? Congratulations! You win that Pokemon and can head over to the certing thread to claim it!
But be sure you also post in the main thread that you claimed a Pokemon! ( And which one it is! )
