Ao no Exorcist: Days of Destruction

Back to Guilds

People who play with the lives of others are Gods? Would the Gods really try and use us as Pawns? If so are the Demons the same as us?

Currency System

The Year is 3300X, over the years the currency in the world converted to a single monetary value known as Zeni: Ƶ. The Zeni is the currency used in the Ao no Exorcist world. It is the non-denominational unit of the monetary currency of the entire world. While printed money is no longer used, cards called Midas Cards are issued to every citizen with their specific information recorded on it, which is similar to the method credit cards once worked. Although these cards are activated by the thumb print of the user in order to authorize a purchase. During your approval process you will have an area underneath your Parameters for your character that reads Midas Card, it will then list how much Zeni your character has to their name.

Now back to using Zeni for a practical purchase. Zeni can be used in the guild to purchase Equipment, Items, and even Runes for your character. Now you’re more than likely asking yourself how do you gain addition Zeni? The answer is simple. The main method to gain Zeni by completing missions, the more mission done, the more money earned. Participating in missions is the main method you can obtain Zeni. Within the RP, characters can “transfer” Zeni between each other for RP purposes, but these transferred Zeni will never be added or subtracted from the actual character’s account, due to the fact the money can only buy things in RP when this is done. By tapping two Midas Cards together users can transfer funds into another account. Even Demons can acquire Zeni and hold their own Midas Cards, due to their human possessions; some demons live double lives in order to survive in Assiah as a human. The one other methods in obtaining Zeni is through Tournaments.

Tournaments – Every month (in real time) a tournament will be held. Each rank has a separate bracket or conditions depending on the tournament. On the first of each month, characters that are participating will need to be registered by the second of the month; tournament registration typically starts the week prior to the first of the month. Tournament prizes vary by the type of tournament. Tournaments can also be seen as exams for True Cross Academy.

Bounty – Another option, that typically happens rarely depending on the situation. Bounties are assigned to Exorcist and Demons alike and based on their crimes or who placed the bounty will offer an award for either bringing the culprit in to the organization’s headquarters or for killing them. These are rare to see, but they will happen from time to time.

During RP characters can view their money through a virtual banking program, which allows the user to slide their card through an ATM or Midas Reader found on basically every electrical device. The banking program creates a physical image of Zeni in the form of paper and coins to the user, as well as customized safe that has no entrance or exit, just a room with the money the user holds. Because it’s virtual nothing can be taken or left in the safe. This feature is typically used in bedrooms in the privacy of the card user’s home. While ATMs only allow you to view your stored money through the ATM screen without having access to the full virtual feel the way personal readers or cell phones give to the user.
