 Tsune curled up in the grass, half hidden in a pile of leaves as she watched small swirls of wind make other leaves dance. Her lips quirked in amusement and the brown leaves dancing in the wind sparkled with gold and flashes of red and orange. The magic was nothing big, nothing special. Just a small cantrip, a minor illusion, a thing that would only persist if she focused. Which she did, because it amused her, and because otherwise...she would have to admit to being bored.

 Nevaden hummed softly as he looked for a good spot to chill and work on the crystals. Choosing a little spot in the grasses, he settled down and set to work. He pulled a crystal out and started to shape it with a special knife, following whatever design was in his head.

She heard a noise behind her and quietly turned. She jumped, startled, seeing the other pony, upsetting the leaf pile she had been resting in, sending them scattering as she fell back. Panicked and surprised, her talent kicked in and a giant illusionary monster formed between her and the stranger. It looked like a bear about eight times the height of a pony, with dragonfly wings and sharp bloody claws. It would have looked convincing... if it weren't ice blue and hot pink. Her illusions were generally flawless, when she worked at them. When she was startled into them, they were... alarmingly odd.

Nevaden looked up at the large creature of flame. Instead of running off, he was inspired and started to shape the crystal he was working on into what was seeing. Glancing through it, he saw the female dragon and frowned a bit.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to startle you."

She blinked breathing hard. He wasn't scared, but... he hadn't attacked. And he apologized. She forced herself to calm down and banished the illusion. As the fear faded, she found herself mostly embarrassed. She flushed softly. "Sorry," she said in a quiet voice, looking down at the grass she stood on, tail whipping nervously about her legs.

He cut another little niche out of the crystal, held it up to the sunlight to examine and brought it back to make another little niche or two.

He blinked at her. He wasn't one that was easily angered. He smiled and chuckled a little.
"No. I'm not mad. Why would I be?"
