Of course the Earthlings got some of her soup. Even with Amadi looking after the left overs it seemed that some of the Earthlings happened to get some and fell in love with it. Of course they did, it was amazing. She was a good fighter, and a good cook. Most of her sisters were, and since for a while it was Ilyra as a youngling and than Dyakida being blind she had to cook more often than some other sisters. She didn't mind it, it never got in the way of her practice or anything else so it was a good way to pass the time. Plus she did enjoy it, even though she would never tell anyone that. One day she would be a happy elder, teaching apprentices to fight and cooking for those who wanted it. But for now she was just a fighter, and she didn't plan on becoming the community cook. Still somehow she ended up out and and about hunting for more maglardillas to kill and cook. Briella sighed and kept walking though the forest. She would do it just this once, and make it clear that it would never happen again. This was a one time thing.
She wasn't happy about this hunt, so she wasn't jumping from tree to tree or even walking at the cheerful pace that she normally would. This was just something that she needed to get done and over with. Briella was grumbling angrily when she happened to look up and spotted a few maglardillas in the tree. She shook her head and started climbing a tree close by, as carefully and quietly as she could. However it wasn't careful enough, because before she could even get into a spot to jump from her tree to their tree the maglardillas were startled and began to flee. She swore and started to chase the biggest ones of the group, she assumed it was the leader. However the head start that she had given them proved to be more than she thought, and more than she could bridge. Dropping to the floor Briella started to look around for another pack, but it seemed that she had already made the one pack run away that was in the area.
It was getting later and later, and before she knew it the whole forest was dark. It was time for her to head back. Sure there would be a few disappointed Earthlings, but she could deal with that. After all she wasn't there to please them, and they shouldn't have tasted some of her soup in the first place. If anything they should have been happy with what they got, since it wasn't there's in the first place. As soon as she got to the camp they were just as disappointed as she thought they would be, some even mad. She told them to go catch their own meat and stay with their own foods. The threats she laid down if any of them tried to touch her food again should be enough to scare them away.
