I have a quick question about coding... When I do my preview in the forums, the coding looks just how I want it. When I do the actual post, it looks different. If you have time, can you take a look and let me know what I'm doing wrong?
Well first off, you quoted me wrong. I just happened to click on this topic out of curiosity. to quote someone you have to edit the quote tag to;
[quote="Id rather be on Asgard"][/quote]
You put;
[quote]Id rather be on Asgard[/quote]
Which just puts my name in a quote box as a message, not alert me.
This is how your format looks on my end with BetterGaia in Chrome.
This is how it looks without BetterGaia.
I'm assuming you want the BetterGaia appearance one.
In the preview page, gaia narrows the page to the "centered" gaia layout, shifting layouts down if pictures take up the whole width of the post bubble. But Gaia hasn't made the actual forums to follow this "centered" format yet, so the post bubbles are wider, causing your text to shift back up and fill in the empty space on the right. To make your format work on both BetterGaia and Regular gaia, align your gif to the left with;
[align=left][img]GIF URL[/img][/align]
Put that DIRECTLY after your other image, but leave that image as imgleft or you'll break the format.
You should have;

Just like that. Copy and paste that.
