The pack lives beside a deep spring fed lake which is bordered by an old growth forest. A few meadows and streams provide breaks in the canopy. Fish swim idly in the lake and squirrels provide comical scolding from the heights.
The fumes: Alpha: Lilliana Beta: River Madeline Featherheart Rainforest

River stood knee deep in the lake and peered with perked ears at the trout swimming idly around him. Blend in, blend in, he thought. Then he dunked his head quick as a snake and caught one. It wriggled in his mouth making his head bob. He was grateful he had got the center of the fish, catching the head or tail was problematic. Either much more wriggling or fishy tail slap right in his face..it took forever to get all the slime off.

Lilliana walked through the forest to the lake. She knew River liked to spend time there and catch fish. She slipped behind a tree that was near the lake and purred as she saw River in the water. He looked so pretty and she sat there watching and giggled when he did catch a fish and it wiggled about. She wanted to pounce him but not until he had the fish on land it would be a shame for him to lose the fish all because of her pouncing him.
Madeline stretched in a clearing with the sunlight hitting her coat. It felt so nice she was enjoying the sunbathing and being able to just rest and relax later she would get up and start the day but for now she was tired and just wanted to rest.
Featherheart smiled as she looked around the forest she was thrilled that her mother was so happy. It was nice to see her happy like that. She wondered what was going on with River and her mother but would find that out later for now she was having fun exploring the area.

River got out of the creek and shook himself as well, excess water flying everywhere. Take that you silly fish! He spotted Liliana and wagged his tail in glee grinning around the fish as if to say 'Hey look! Hey look what I caught! Isn't it wonderful?'
The sun shone bright and hot and filtered through the green leaves of the trees and warmed the ground pleasantly. It was good to be a fume on a day like this... no one around no one to bother them, hey wait who was that? A green fume had appeared out of the shadows.

Rainforest stepped out from behind one of the big deciduous trees and scanned the positions of all the members, there were two by the river one sleeping still and one he couldn't quite find, although he could still smell her.
This was the group he had been looking for, he had spent too much time on his own and hopefully this was a nice bunch. Maybe he should have watched for a little longer.

River caught Lily's eyes and tilted his head in the direction of Rainforest, his face was still full of trout so he couldn't say anything quite yet. But he gestured, hoping she would take the hint and turn around, if not he would have to drop the fish that was still determindedly flipping around in his mouth.

Lilliana giggled as she watched him shake himself that looked so cute. She grinned at his gleefull smile and the tail wagging so much. "Nice catch River hope you are going to share. It looks yummy." She smiled as River caught her eyes. She looked over at what he was motioning at. She caught site of the green male and tilted her head. She wondered who he was. She ran over to Rive and nipped his cheek playfully and then nuzzled it sweetly before she ran over to the green male. She stopped a few feet in front of him and grinned a sweet welcoming smile and dipped her head. "Hello there. My name is Lilliana. What's your name? Is there something I can help you with?" Her tail swished as she looked at him wondering what he was doing there.
Madeline looked up as she caught movement and saw some male there. She tilted her head and shrugged not even thinking there could be danger or a problem but she just watched and grinned when Lily appeared and she waved to the alpha but looked around for River and Featherheart. She tilted her head and watched what was going on with everyone.
Featherheart continued to explore the forest and look around. It was such a nice area and she loved it. So many new places to explore and get to know. She would explore it all and learn as much as she could.

"I was wondering if I could maybe join your pack? Its hard to hunt alone and its cold at night where I was living so I explored a bit and came upon your pack's scent and thought I would give it a shot."
He wagged his tail a little nervously. Wondering what her descision would be.

River knew his mate had that covered so he set about deboning his fish and then stepped back into the lake to hunt for more.
He spotted another and pounced making a big splash but missed. He shook the water out of his face and watched intently for the next fish.

Lilliana watched him as he spoke and tilted her head. Hmmm it might be a good idea to have another pack member for them. There were only four of them in her pack and she thought it would be good to have another male in it. Hums softly as she thinks and looks at the nervous guy. "Sure but first you need to meet River to make sure he is also ok with this. Though I say you are good to enter the pack but it would be best to make sure he agrees too. I'm not a dictator with my pack." She didn't want him to be nervous at all.
Featherheart walked around more and come upon River hunting fish in the lake. She watched him a bit nervous she still didn't know if he was ok with her. She hoped he didn't hate her or dislike her since she was from a previous man with her mother. So she just sat there and watched him.
Madeline stretched and got up slowly. She walked over to where her alpha stood and looked at the new green guy. She waved at him and smiled. "Hi there. You are new."

"My name is Rainforest and thank you for considering me.' He dipped his head respectfully to the feathered female.
He looked up as a bright blue fume appeared. She was pretty.. well so was the feathered one..who was he kidding all females were pretty.
He waved back at the blue and smiled in greeting. "Yes I am, very new, and I thank you for your hospitality." He dipped his head to her too.
"Is that River there fishing? Who is the young fume with him?" he asked curiously eager to get to know them. Hopefully this River guy would let him stay.

River pounced another fish and caught it. He tossed it up to Featherheart who was perched conviniently on the bank. "Catch it Feather! Quick!" He giggled. "Its slimy though! Be careful!"
She was a good kid. And he was proud of her. She was his mates blood and his mate was his and so she was his too. It was as simple as that. The trout flopped, trying to flip itself back into the water.

Lilliana smile at the green guy named Rainforest. "You're welcome Rainforest. Just make sure you don't make me regret it." She smiles sweetly though if he did something she would protect those that were hers. She was sweet but if push come to shove she could be deadly. She watched as Madeline walked over and nuzzled the girl's cheek kindly. She then looked over at the green male and chuckled as she saw his reaction to Madeline. She looked over at River as she also saw her daughter there and nodded. "Yeah that's River and the young fume with him is my daughter."
Madeline smiled back at Lilliana and nuzzled her back sweetly. "It's a pleasure to meet you Rainforest. Nice to see a new face around here. My name is Madeline." She giggled as he dipped his head like that it was so cute.
Featherheart watched River as he pounced and caught another fish. She stared at it when it was thrown at her and she caught it with her teeth. She held on tightly as it squirmed in her mouth. She was having a bit of a hard time holding onto it since it was so wiggly. She watched him and wondered what he was thinking. She needed to ask him what he thought of her.

River grinned. "Your a good catch Featherheart, I'm so proud of you." Definitely her mother's daughter. Speaking of her mother, he glanced over at the other two and padded over, shaking his coat every few steps. "I left Feather on fish patrol. And you might you be O Green One?"
He siddled up to Lily and brushed along her side. Well the vagrant should know that she was his alpha and he her beta.
