This world was not too different from Equestria. Certainly, there were differences- paws instead of hooves, walking on two legs... but Twilight had adjusted to change before, and she would do so again. She worried for her little ponies back home, but surely they would be fine. With how the world had so changed... well. There didn't seem to be much Twilight could change.

And in this world, it seemed, Twilight could do good. There was so much to learn! So much she was able to do with her paws! Studying, and page-turning, and letter-writing, and HOLDING! Holding things without her magic! It was absolutely incredible!

At least, these were the thoughts Twilight comforted herself with. It was better to think on the good, than to spend too long worrying for her brother and Spike. They had to be here, somewhere.. if Chrysalis and Discord had carried over, the two of them would have as well. She just knew it. That was how love and friendship worked, after all.

For now, her nose was buried in a book. This Audio world didn't have studies on friendship like Equestria did... but it was certainly rich with life and history. She skimmed the pages, trying to make herself more vested in her reading. It was truly fascinating, it was!

She just... worried. That was all.

Especially since Discord and Chrysalis had little ones now? That was... ugh. Her brain did not even want to attempt addressing that one.

Princess Luna was... well a bit lost. She was in a new place, her body was different, and she hadn't seen her sister in days. Or anyone else, really, that she knew. And she didn't even raise or set the moon anymore. In this strange, strange place, it did it ITSELF. Finally, she'd given in and decided to head to the library. If nothing else, she'd get more of a clue as to what on earth was going on in this place.

Maybe she'd find out how the moon could do that without her, or the sun without her Sister. And maybe she'd find a place for herself. She no longer had a job, after all. What good was she, what reason did she have to do anything? She was a princess in name only, really, here.

She began to wander down the aisles of books, trying to find something that would help her learning. She hadn't found the directory, so she was doing it he hard way. Browsing for everything.

As she came around a corner, she bumped into another audio, a purple one. "OH! Excus... Twilight? Is that you?" Her tone was a bit desperate, but happily so. A friend!

Her ears twitched at the familiar voice, and with little ceremony, Twilight Sparkle dropped her book. Looking up, and trying not to be excited, she bit her lip... only to jump up excitedly when it was, in fact, Princess Luna.

"P-princess Luna!" Twilight cried, stumbling over and embracing the other alicorn. Well, they weren't alicorns now. Not anymore. They had wings and horns, but the title was... angelics? From what she understood, anyway. There was still a great amount of power to them, but it wasn't as though they were redefining the fate of Equestria.

"Oh, I'm so glad you're here!" She said earnestly, pulling back from the hug and smiling at her friend. Another face she knew was always a welcome reprieve from the oddness of this world. They could talk about their old lives, and the ponies they knew! And study this place together! Without realizing it, Twilight's tail was wagging in delight at the thought of having the companionship of someone she knew.

"Isn't this weird? Well, our lives were weird anyway, but this is bizarre! I thought it might have been Discord at first, but he's here too!" She paused in her excitement, and frowned a bit.

"He has kids now. Just... just let that sink in for a moment. Discord is a father."

Luna's face brightened with delight when she saw that it was, indeed, Twilight. She returned the hug, enthusiastically, trying to control a tear of joy. She wasn't alone! She'd found another, and some one she could trust too! Whatever else might change in this weird, weird world, she KNEW she could trust Twilight as much as she could her sister.

With all of the statements that Twilight made, she was nodding in agreement until the point where she mentioned Discord being here. This caused her to wrinkle her nose in displeasure. Then the part about kids. That caused her to just FREEZE. Kids? DISCORD? DISCORD A FATHER? What?

Finally she found her voice. "What... no let me REPHRASE this. WHO would be so insane as to breed with that lunatic? Who would want to inflect poor, innocent children with him for a father? They'll spend their lives upside down, covered in chocolate milk or something!" She was quite thoroughly appalled, and had not the words to truly express it.

"That's the part you're not going to like," Twilight said, wincing inwardly. Perhaps right off the bat had not been the best time to give Luna this news. They could've caught up first, talked about friendship... but no, she'd run her mouth off again. She had to keep herself from sighing out loud at her own stupidity. For such an intelligent unicorn, she really could be an idiot sometimes.

"Do you remember the whole.. Cadance's Wedding debacle? Well, um. I don't know how much of that Celestia caught you up on, but..." she waved her hands idly, not sure where else to go. Had Luna been caught up on the story? They'd been involved in so much after the wedding... the crystal empire, the equestrian games, that plant things... Twilight wondered how she and her friends had any time to catch up at all.

Maybe a change of pace WAS for the best.

"Well. ThemomissortofChrysalisandshe'sheretoo?" That was out in the open, then. Stepping back, Twilight set her arms behind her back, waiting for the comment to catch up with Luna. Honestly, she would probably be upset... Twilight sighed to herself, and looked out the window.

"I've been keeping an eye on them. They don't seem to be doing anything bad yet, but... who knows? Maybe everyone wanted a new start."

Luna stared, listening to every word up to the point of the Wedding debacle. At those words, she went pale and sort of fell back into a chair, her expression of one about to hear her worst nightmare. When Twilight blurted it out, she froze, parsing every word, to be sure she'd guessed right, and understood fully.

Finally she closed her eyes, trying to decide how to respond to this. Part of her was going 'this is a nightmare, how can we escape it', and another part going 'We have to give them a chance. New beginnings.' After a long minute of silence, she took a slow deep breath, and reopened her eyes, sitting up a bit.

"Well I can't say I like this bit of news. It sounds rather... like disaster waiting to happen. But perhaps it's a good sign. Perhaps they've found... found balance in each other, love maybe even?" She sounded a little hopeless, given everything her sister had explained about Chrysalis and the Changelings. "We shall have to give them the chance to grow and learn... but be ready to deal with the consequences if it comes to that."

She went silent again, then nodded slowly. "Yes. This seems to be the best plan available for us. In the meantime, other then watching them, what have you been up to, Twilight? Have you seen my sister, or your other friends since we came?" She looked entirely wistful and a little hopeful.

"Chrysalis, finding love. That's... kind of ironic, when you think about it," Twilight laughed, trying to seem less nervous about it than she actually was. She was, after all, the princess of friendship. Discord had earned his redemption (albeit painfully), and it stood to reason that Chrysalis could do the same... even if she had kidnapped the Cutie Mark Crusaders. Biting her lower lip, Twilight mulled over what to fill the princess of the night in on. When no excuses came to mind, she defaulted on the best policy.

"I haven't seen heads or tails of anybody. Chrysalis and Discord, unfortunately, but I've really only seen the girls in passing. Everything is so different here that I'm not really sure how to broach the idea," Twilight admitted, ears drooping in shame. She shifted uneasily, folding her arms.

"That's sort of why I was so excited to see you. Besides Rarity, you're really the first friendly face I've run into." Her spirit dropped even more at the next bit. Really, it was insane amounts of guilt regarding the situation.

"I-I'm sorry, Luna. I haven't seen Celestia since we arrived." With what little of her dignity remained in tact after the admission, Twilight sat down gently on the grass, looking up at the other princess sadly.

"Every idea I come up with just seems so... useless, I guess. I feel like Celestia would know what to do, but I can't even find her! Some princess of friendship I turned out to be," she grumbled, the last part more to herself than outloud.

There was a great deal Twilight could do for this world, yes. It didn't make the huge adjustment any easier.

"Ironic is... certainly one word for it.... But for now I'll leave it be, just to... to give them a chance, and see what comes up with it." She shifted in her seat, her legs crossing at the ankles and tucking themselves slightly under her as she sighed, internally trying to convince herself this wasn't a disaster waiting to happen. After all, this was a rather different place, maybe... maybe things would be better, for those two at least.

When she comments about having seen Rarity, her face brightened up. "You've seen Rarity? well that's good, at least! It means one of the others is here. I'm sure the rest are, we just have to find them." She nods her head, happily, and then blinks, listening to Twilight, and her grumbling. "I do not think it is in anyway your fault, Twilight? I mean... This is a new world, to us... We don't know how, or IF, unicorn magic works here. We don't know anything about the organization of this place. For all we know, the others are lots of miles away! I certainly hope not, but we have no way of knowing."

She gave her friend a slightly reproving look, after finishing that sentence. "As such, blaming yourself is just going to lead you to feeling depressed and wanting to give up. Don't do that... THEN You'd not be acting like a princess." She paused, and blushed, remembering some of her own less... princessly actions in the past. But... well... "If anyone knows what not acting like a Princess is like, after all, I'd say it's me..."
