It was the character of the 'laya inside that made his kingdom great. He was the one that kept his pride underground. Although everyone loved him, he was not always king. No- He was once astray in darkness til he had seen the light. He lead great battles- and was a right hand knight in the GREAT WAR. Only then, was he dubbed king, so he may protect the once great city and keep their lives saved from darkness. Without his robes, without his specter which he really hated sometimes, and the royal life, he often basted in the moon light. Away from prying eyes. "I will be fine."

"B-But- My King- Going outside means.."

He turned around to his guard. "Means that one day we will all get to be free...I must wait for her return." Lifting his body up and leaving all the riches behind, maybe just for a night but he wanted to show the Goddess that he was thinking of her.

"It's dangerous above.. we just think.. it's been too long. She isn't-"

He turned to his subject. "She will."

Waiting- and wanting her to take back the throne so balance could be restored again. For now- he left his pride in the safe hands of the guards as he left out in to the highest point of the hills near by..

His horn shining as he looked on to the darkness. That white light- the moon... Reminded him of the past... And once under it.. It felt as though he had begun to shed doubts .. worries.. sinking in to the surrounding area..becoming one. Closing his eyes and he let himself relive the memories.
