Fellow members of the GCA once again I got to thinking here again. Should we have suggested "uniforms" for members of the Alliance and anyone who is a follower of the Goddess Gaia? Our rivals have a whole mess of suggested outfits for their followers and I got to wondering if it would help bring more unity in the community if we had some of our own. Your thoughts?

Hassli It would be a nice way to feel some unity. It's just a shame some of that Diedrich stuff is in short supply and extra expensive for making an airship captain look. Still, putting together some general suggestions shouldn't be too difficult.

Maybe we could hold a guild contest to suggest uniforms?

That would be cool. E-Corp has a uniform and items that they generally use. Would Sen and Overseer stuff count as well?

It would be pretty cool to have something to show support more overtly.

I think the 2k9 Casimir and spirited items would be a good start for uniforms.
Like this for female avis  and this for males
They would be just a starting point and you could use the items in any combination or with other items.

I'm on board for anything that goes with this trenchcoat I might have to agree with the 2k9 set; personal taste notwithstanding it seems to be the axiomatic choice. The colour, for being green, is pretty striking. And it marries frivolously with anything that's bright and billowing, like the Aviation.
That said, the Alliance, such as it is, hasn't struck me as being a very outwardly uniform crowd. Not that it couldn't or shouldn't be(come) one, just chipping in that we're bit of a wild garden and maybe that's a good, defining thing.

True we never were the uniform type to begin with, which is why I put the quote around uniform. I was thinking more or less things that you might see someone who's an airship captain, a casimir arborist, or a priest/priestess at the Temple of Gaia might wear. Plus, it'd be nice to have a little list of items one can add to an avatar in order to show support for the cause of trying to save Gaia from eternal darkness. It would be stuff anyone who wants to get into the spirit of the plot and the possible event that will pop up over the summer can wear. Kind of how people dress up to show town support during the towns vs. towns events.

I'm rarely keen on changing my avatar from my usual cosplay, but I'm open to adding accents. Example: I'm currently wearing the Gaia's Token pin that was created for this upcoming event, and I've also equipped the Earth Mood Bubble we got for some past Earth Day event because it's something Gaia-appropriate that I already happened to have. (I also removed the Lunar Cowl that's usually part of my avatar because crescent moons are the enemy's symbol.)
Maybe have a selection of recommended accent items for those like me who don't want to change their avatars wholesale, but wouldn't mind "decorating" them?

I tried to make my Ninja fighting for Gaia avi already. I guess colors are green, brown or beige and golden? Or green and silver since this casimir tree is like Gino's airship tree?
