Overall Personality: Sweet; she doesn’t like to stand out, or achieve greatness, but does her best to inspire greatness in others. She is more of an observer, and a listener, than a talker, often changing the subject/ choosing a comfortable subject like weather, and school-based events if, somehow, she becomes the focus.
Likes: Tea and cake, flowers, stuffed animals, and classical music

Strengths: Baking, sewing, and playing harp are some of Mey-Rin’s more notable talents. Rumor has it she possess’ the voice of a siren, too, but the source of the rumor has been lost, and no one- that is no one- can convince her to sing for them.
Weaknesses: Fear. Mey-Rin has a painfully obvious, and paralyzing fear of standing out.
Fears: Besides standing out, there isn’t much that frightens Mey-Rin; the obvious exceptions are murderers, rapists, and bees. She loves flowers, but doesn't pick them or arrange them herself because the chance of being stung by a bee rises significantly.
Strange Gestures and Obsessions: She often readjusts her glasses, even if they don’t need readjusting. She bites her lower lip, wrings her fingers or hugs herself, and shifts from foot to foot when nervous.
Social Life
Family History: Mey-Rin’s parents, who had been a prominent doctor and nurse in Cardiff England moved to Japan to take ownership of, and restore, Kyoto hospital. They only had modest wealth to draw from; it was risky, but because of her father’s keen business sense and vast medical knowledge, European support, and Japanese support, they managed to become a medical powerhouse. They began opening clinics in Kyoto, and then spread, until their name could be found throughout Japan.

Hobbies: Baking, sewing, and playing the harp. She often brings home-cooked meals to school. She sews her own clothes and stuffed animals, even though her family can afford name-brand clothing, simply because it’s easier to create something “just right” than it is to find and purchase something. She often crafts her own jewelry too, with wooden beads and cute mascots carved into wooden medallions. She’s tried to compose music, to play, but can’t do this particular task to effect.
Special Skills: Because of her mother and father’s medical history, Mey-Rin has picked up knowledge here and there that makes her a better-than-average candidate for medical studies, but this is not her passion so she utilizes it ONLY in dire situations.
Primary School, Middle School, and Extra-School Activities: Mey-Rin attended public primary school in Cardiff, England. She attended a private school in junior high. She achieved high marks, within the top ten, but never higher than 6th in order to avoid notice. She took home economics every year, and took music lessons outside school, and enjoyed them very much. She played harp in competitions, and often brought home first or second place, but her sister and brother received more notice from her parents. They were academic-oriented, and both siblings achieved higher marks than her- specifically in medicine oriented classes.
Special: Mey-Rin sings original songs and covers, and posts them on a sound-clip website under the screen name "Riniba". On that site, she's achieved startling popularity, and it's still growing.
