Ao no Exorcist: Days of Destruction

Back to Guilds

People who play with the lives of others are Gods? Would the Gods really try and use us as Pawns? If so are the Demons the same as us?

NPC Battles

Alright everyone, so this system is a shorter one, and it will only be used on occasions, typically on missions, or during special events that cause for multiple demons to appear. This does not include major antagonist demons or exorcists that may appear at the end of all the battling. So I’ve come up with a slightly amazing little system to kick things up a notch in the RP. Randomly in the Guild as stated before, a Moderator will post a random entrance of some sort of a large number of NPC’s entering an area. Once this happens you must follow the following rules.

First things is this, there can only be a maximum of 5,000 demons / enemy NPCs released at a single time, and each one must be eliminated within the area they are released in, in order for more to appear or for players to move on to a new area. If the enemies are not all defeated the area will continue to spout enemies which will add on to the 5,000 maximum rule making it void. Below we go more in depth with the type of characters that will be used as NPCs. When they are released the moderator who released the enemies will keep count on the number remaining. Now because we don’t want to have people power playing their kills, because I know most of you will not take direct damage or extreme damage from a NPC attack, because even I know I can abuse my power at times, but this system is going to slightly put a stop to that for everyone. If you follow it properly it will make the Rp more realistic for you and it will make it more enjoyable for everyone. Below is the dice system, for how all this will work.

You will use the Dice System to determine how many demons or enemies you have killed or defeated. Counting it as a kill or a defeat where the enemy leaves the area is up to you in the end. Because we want to make this more challenging, you will still need to watch your stats during NPC combat, especially during missions, because your stats will not go back to 100% healthy directly after a battle. This makes the mission a little bit more difficult. Although the Moderator in charge of your mission is allowed to give “drops” which may heal you completely or partially, depending on what they decide will most benefit you during the mission, if anything at all. This is usually based on the Boss at the end of the mission.

How to Post during an NPC battle
You will be fighting as if you were fighting an actual RPC, this will allow you to post an action for the NPCs that your attack says you just killed, injured, or frightened away. That is the most effective way to do it, for simple reason it will make the fight a little more realistic for you, also you will be able to obtain more words in your posts this way and with that obtain more points towards your character. Each post action must be a minimum of 400 words in order to count for the number of demons/enemies your character has defeated.

To keep this extremely simple and fair for everyone, we are having everyone use the same number of dice no matter what kind of skill, rank, weapon, or title they hold. So whenever one of these random attacks happen the number of dice you will roll is 5 while the number of sides is 20. To go into this further, your first post in which you perform the dice roll will be your initial reaction while your second post which will not be a dice roll will be your actual action. So to restate this again, first post = dice roll with a reaction, second post = action without a dice roll. The total number that falls is the number of enemies/demons defeated.

The next post will go into the different types of demons and enemies that may appear there will be a small description about them, including something to expect from them combat wise, as well as the maximum number of that specific type of enemy that will appear in an area.
