Hel snickered as she quietly closed the door to her boilfriend’s room in the reaper dorms, and then skittered down the hall. She’d left him a little gift…a ribbon with a little tag with a nickname on it. She felt it best to be one of those presents he discovered on his own. With a grin once she was far enough way, the reaper moved down the hall with a bounce in her step, which soon came to a halt as she came across a student. The valkyrie immediately froze and stared at the boil. Normally she’d just pass anyone in the dorms…but this one… Well…didn’t exactly look like a reaper! She really shouldn’t have been judging. Once upon a time she could have been confused for another species too when she had wings. Oh how quickly she forgot. That being said, Hel was just going to be upfront, though it was with good nature as she approached the boil. “Oi!” She raised a hand in greeting, grinning. “Are you a reaper?”

Druvian had finally found his way to the dorms - through no real help of anyone else. Useless, all of them. He was tired, and he was ready to go lay down and stare at nothing for a while before finally going to sleep. The last thing he expected was a ghoul to call to him as he was making his way to his room.
Was he a reaper? Was he not in the midst of unlocking a dorm room in the Reaper dorm? Was everyone here slow?
"No," Druvian drawled in a light Greek accent, turning around and quirking a finely manicured eyebrow at her. "I am here, in the Reaper dorm, for funsies, trying to open a dorm that is obviously not mine."
Normally, he wouldn't be so sarcastic to a perfect stranger - but he had exhausted his polite charm for the evening. First by not killing Fits for running into him and then by having to deal with gnomes to get his room assignment.
Gnomes were exhausting.

At the reply, Hel’s grin only widened, and she sauntered closer to the other apparently-reaper. Oh, this one was sassy! Had an accent too, just like her! But not Nordic, obviously. “Hey, you would not be the first, nor would you be the last.” She cackled. “Had to ask! I do not often see reapers running around that have a skin like a disco ball!” She leaned in closer, to inspect said skin, and rested her fists on her hips. “What kind of reaper are you? Oh! Are you new?” She’d never seen him around before…but then again she didn’t live at Amityville still either.

Blink. Blink. Stare.
Did she just compare his skin to a disco ball? A shiny, gaudy, god-awful disco ball? "I assure you - I am much better looking than a disco ball." He said as politely as he could, though there was an edge to his words. He didn't take insults well. Sure, the ghoul likely didn't mean it like one - but he took it like one, anyway.
Druvian took a step back when she leaned in to inspect his skin, lips pursing in annoyance. "Ah - Dream. I just arrived today." And so far, the reaper wasn't exactly impressed. At all.Lucyal Hahaha this is going to be interesting

This was amusing! Hel was glad to still be running into amusing creeple. “Oh?” She hummed, her voice going up a notch. “Well, I suppose you are, but most certainly not as smooth as a disco ball.” She teased, and then straightened. “A dream reaper…” She repeated. “I never heard of one of those before! What is it your kind does exactly? Ah!” She held out a dark hand to him, still grinning away. “Welcome to Amityville, then! I am called Hel!”

"That is yet to be seen," Druvian defended, "Don't judge a boil by his cover, so to speak, hm?" That was a personal challenge. And it had been accepted.
"We reap dreams, sow nightmares, and harvest the fear." He answered easily enough - it wasn't something that was often known. His kind were few and far between and tended to prefer the company of each other. For the most part. Druvian had never quite understood the lack of branching out simply because by keeping to themselves they gained nothing.
Druvian took the ghoul's hand, bent his head and placed a kiss to the top of it before stepping back. "Druvian. A pleasure."
No, it really wasn't. But he could fake it.

“Ha! Fair enough! I will give you that, boyo.” His tone and words indicated he wanted to prove her otherwise…fun! “Ah, I see! You remind me of a friend, she is a demon, a baku…she also deals with dreams and nightmares! Can you step into creeple’s dreams, as well?” Hel nodded her head. Interesting! Very interesting that there is a class of reapers that can do that… But then he took her hand, and kissed it. Aww, Hel wanted a hand shake! Not…hand kisses or whatever. “ Oh…you are one of those… Cute.” One of those polite boils who did that kind of thing to ghouls. Those were few and far in between for her. Hel nonchalantly wiped the back of her hand on her hip, and then quickly put her hand back out to him again, because she wanted that handshake, jack damn it. “Yanno…a real pleasure would be a good handshake...it says a lot about one’s self~!” Hel just also apparently loved teasing first years…that and this one was rather fun and interesting. Kyribird Just...even more cackling : ' D

"No." And that was what he left it at. There were some things that he just would not reveal about his kind. They were a rather secretive bunch, anyway, and the more secrets he knew the more he was able to leverage. Especially when it came to himself.
And then she went and wiped her hand off on her clothes. Ghouls. He couldn't stand them. Granted, he couldn't stand most creeple. Irritation briefly flickered on his face but he decided to give her what she wanted. He took her hand, firmly - but not bone crushing - gave it a brief squeeze and then let go.
"Accepting what you're offered gracefully also says a lot about one's self, Hel."

Hel would have liked to ask more questions, but she could tell by the tone that, at this point in time, it would probably not be likely. Besides, she was getting what she wanted! A nice firm hand shake. She was back to grinning, and returned the gesture, giving his hand a firm squeeze and shake before releasing it. His words made her cackle. She knew a hand full of creeple who would agree with what Druvian just said to her. Her grin simmered into a self-assured smirk as she replied, almost purring: “I do not accept and settle for sub par, Druvian.” But he had given her a hand shake, and it had been a good one at that…needless to say this reaper was quickly making a place for himself in her books. “So, what brought you to Amityville, huh?” She was also going to bother him for as much information about himself as she could.

While Druvian would have liked to reply to her jab of being sub par, he refrained. The time for it had passed and sometimes letting the opponent have the last word was a better strategy. Arguing about one particular spot of pride was hardly worth the time it took to put into it.
A smart man knew when to shut up.
"What brings any of us to Amityville? Generally parental units or guardians of some sort. Personally, I leapt at the chance to get out from under their thumb. It's rather...stifling, being in some people's presence, isn't it? And yourself, Miss Hel? What brought you to this fine academy?"
No emphasis on the fine.

The corner of Hel’s lip curled up even more. Oh ho…parents didn’t bring her here, and she’d tell him that soon enough. She was rather proud of herself for wanting to come here on her own. The reaper rolled her shoulders, cocking her head to the side. “I would not know, and you can drop the ‘miss’~” Because Hel was more often than not, the stifling one, not the other way around. “I did not come to this academy because my parents wanted me to, I came on my own volition, and because I am going to be the best.” She grinned. “I am an alumni of this academy now, and the personal assistant of the head of the Trick or Treating coalition!” She oh so did love to inform others of her alumni status. “How about you, huh? What do you want to achieve?” Kyribird Hahaha...she likes to keep them on their toes and guessing...: D /pets Druvian

Perhaps it was time for pure honesty. She seemed of similar goal - perhaps combining forces would not be folly. However, Druvian needed to be careful. He had no idea what kind of influence this ghoul had and whether it was a positive or negative.
"My parents attended this academy many years ago. My older siblings have gone and graduated leaving an entirely underwhelming legacy for my family here. I plan to leave a mark here. As you say - to be the best." And he would achieve it through any means necessary. Druvian did not see the need to add that - just looking at him it wasn't hard to see that he was going to get what he wanted. One way or another. Determined little bag of dicks.
"I will be very frank with you, Hel. Your status as an alumni means very little to me. Graduation does not the Reaper make." He smirked at that. He did not care about year status. Only the person and what they could be of use for. Everyone had their place...somehow.

Parents and siblings blah blah blah, it wasn’t very striking to her if others from the same family had come here before. That was what also made her journey to Amityville that more special for her…she was the first in her family to do so. This wasn’t something she cared to share, though. It was important to her, and that was all that mattered. She did raise a brow in interest though as Druvian explained his goal. “Heh… good luck.” He had her to compete with, but that challenge went unspoken. Here though, would have been the place that Hel got huffy that Druvian dismissed her status as Alumni...but, she did not get huffy. She did not get immature. She did not get bent out of shape, either. Instead, she laughed. She laughed, hard, at Druvian dismissing her status, like he was telling some kind of joke. Actually, Hel did find it hilarious. Being an alumni at Amityville now meant everything. It was a testament to surviving. “ You poor, naïve b*****d.” She giggled, her laughter dying down. “You do not know a thing.” She informed him cheerfully. “This Academy is not the one your parents and siblings have once had the pleasure and convenience of walking anymore, and that you will learn soon enough.” Kyribird Ominous music plays for the Pokemon Master wannabes

"You think that I do not read the news, Hel?" He said as she started laughing and calling him a naive b*****d. "That I do not hear what has happened? That does not change the way I see alumni. Congratulations - You managed to get out of school. I do not pretend to know what you went through. What I do know is what I see. That is all I meant by your status not mattering to me. What you do is what you are judged by."
Though being laughed at was his least favorite activity to be a part of, he was calm and direct with his words. She was no longer at Amityville which meant forming an alliance with her would be in his best interest - for now. Contacts. Networking. That was what would bring him to fruition someday.
He didn't know all that had happened - but siblings had friends, and friends had children, and information was one thing that there was never a shortage of.
"Now. Are you done laughing at me and making assumptions or should I simply end the conversation and go to my room? It has been a trying day."Lucyal u.u I was debating putting something in about the Game Master but dunno if Enoh posted the missing ad yet XD

“I like you.” Hel announced, beaming at the reaper. She wished more creeple judged by what they saw with their own eyes and by the actions of others, though as he went on to explain what he meant by dismissing her status, Hel still felt like he wasn’t quiet getting it either. But…that wasn’t something she could tell him. Time would, though. Some things just had to be experience for one’s self. “Word of advice though…not everything makes it to the news, and not everything is told, so…if you are ever curious about something, you should go searching.” Actually…that in mind…Hel dug through the side pouch attached to her belt, and smirked. She wanted to sassily reply that no, she wasn’t done laughing at him, because he was very amusing, and that this was the pot calling the kettle blaaack. She pulled out a small note pad and jotted down something with a pen also from her belt pouch. She then ripped the piece of paper off and held it out to him. “My number! Just in case for…whatever I suppose…I hope you have a skellyphone!” Kyribird Oooh, drat, I'm not sure either...but it's always more potential fodder for another RP! : D
