I've heard of this situation a lot. Two girls wanting to date (or maybe even a guy and a girl), but the one is bisexual. The other refuses to date them because they are bisexual and think bisexuals just cheat on everyone.
I hate this stereotype so much.
Why do people think that if you are bisexual you will cheat on them? I would never cheat on anyone and I hate when I hear stories of cheaters! And just because someone wants to stick with one gender doesn't mean they won't cheat!
So what is your opinion on the matter?
Would you ever date a bisexual (male or female)?
Why or why not?
These stereotypes are one of the reasons I'm scared to date anyone or even come out to people.

Someone's sexual preference doesn't matter to me.
As long as you are committed to me and only me then I am a happy camper.
Being polyamorous and being bisexual aren't the same thing.
If only one partner won't satisfy you then you need to tell those people before you begin a relationship.
But yeah, I would.

I'd date a bisexual. I don't see why that should matter. If I fall in love with a girl who happens to be bisexual then I've fallen in love with a girl who happens to be bisexual. Whether that girl is a lesbian or bisexual shouldn't matter.

Yep. I've dated a bisexual female, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. As it was already said... Bisexuality doesn't equal polyamory (and vice versa).

I'm bisexual myself and the fact that people avoid me because of that is ridiculous. I have no problem with dating someone like me, though I think what gets me the most is that since I'm bisexual that means I'm okay with a threesome when I am not

I'm a bisexual myself. I haven't really told anyone sweatdrop except for my hubby, my mother in law and a couple close friends of mine. It's not just that people think bisexuals are cheaters, they think they're sl*ts and it's ridiculous....It's not that I'll f*ck everything that walks, but that I love my husband and I want to love a real woman, too. I haven't found that woman yet, so right now I'm dedicated to my husband and that's all I'll ever be.

I would date a bisexual girl, as a matter of fact, I am and this relationship is going extremely well! I didn't fall for her sexual orientation, I fell for her because she was my best friend and she was the only person who understood me and still understands me to this day. I love her very much. heart

As a bisexual, the stereotype sucks.
I'll admit, sometimes I swing in favor of a gender sexually, since sexual attraction is a spectrum & it's a confusing thing/out of your control. And that, in itself, there's nothing wrong with. Though it could influence what gender I might go for when single (or what type of bar I drag my friends to), it has never affected any of my relationships.
When I fall for another person, needless to say, all of that is no longer an issue. Problems with infidelity aren't a sexuality thing.

(I'm pansexual girls, that's why) And it's the biggest blessing I've ever had. In fact he did prefer other guys before he dated me. It was really comforting having a boyfriend that's bisexual, and it still is. It was so easy to tell him about my sexuality, and I can talk about my little girl crushes... Bisexuality is so beautiful.

Well, for me, it would seriously depend on the person we're talking about. Then again, I wouldn't date anyone I don't trust... so, probably yes, as long as I knew they'd be loyal to me, and honest.

ok i know i am going to sound like an a*****e but this is my honest opinion. No i will never date another bisexual again. My ex was "bisexual" she said i was the only girl she would be with. She cheated on me with a guy that just so happened to be my best friend. She is now with a guy and the same thing happened to my current gf and her ex. But her ex is now married to a guy. Maybe its just our luck but we want to be with another lesbian so we won't have to have the feeling of being left for a guy. We want a gf that wants to be with woman that's it. Most bisexuals i know they just say they are bi for attention. So no never again. Sorry to sound like an a*****e. And please do not get offended just my personal feelings.
