While the Times Circle fountain persisted in being Gunn's favorite meeting place--it just was so pretty--occasionally she had to go somewhere else. Continue to be predictable and someone would be waiting for the Order signature when it appeared. So, when she sent off an email to the enigmatically-named Ash, she specified the small sculpture garden of the Rackham House museum. At 2300 exactly, Gunn was sitting on a bench under a modernist sculpture of what she could only guess was some kind of bird, waiting. What she wanted from this was simple: Megiddo had mentioned offhand that there had been a guardian cat present at boot camp, and Gunn no more remembered a cat than she remembered any other specific names and faces. Having a cat around the apartment complex would be awesome, for a lot of reasons. In-house upgrades! Sensing unawakened senshi! And this one, apparently, was a bit of a technophile. Maybe Gunn could convince her to do some creative hacking... the kind of thing that Gunn, for reasons of her position of employment, could not do on her own. She leaned forward on her elbows and wished her fuku came with a watch.

Honestly, Ash had not been expecting to get an email from a senshi named Gunn, but that was not because she didn't want senshi to email her! More, it was because it was her very first email ever from someone of a powered persuasion and it had excited her to no end. The burmilla had practically wriggled right out of her seat when she had opened it, almost too excited to read the whole thing in one sitting. She had caught something about the training camp and wanting to meet.... and then she'd had to reread it to find the proper details.
The museum had not been a place Ash was familiar with, and like the senshi, her current form did not have a watch... so it was probably no surprise that the cat had gotten just a little lost, and thus arrived late. The guardian had ended up needing to stop at an internet cafe and lift someone's smart phone to find a map, which had put her even further behind... but at long last, there was the sculpture garden, its figures outlined in a soft glow from the lights that lined the walks.
And there... there was a woman in white and brown, who registered as a senshi when the guardian took a moment to focus on her aura. More than happy to have finally made it, Ash bounded forward with her tail curling above her back, making a graceful leap up onto the stand of the bird-thing sculpture.
"Hello! Ah... are you Sailor Gunn, by chance? This could be very embarrassing if you're not, though I would be no less happy to meet whoever you are!" She said with a bit of a laugh, her visor-wrapped head tilting to the side.

Gunn, with her general inability to sense anything of actual worth with her mental power-radar, didn't know that the burmilla was approaching until the cat was looking at her. But she did see the cat leaping her way, tail up in the quintessential feline gesture of excitement, welcome, and general friendliness. Gunn looked at her and smiled, noting the forehead star and the… visor. Yeah, definitely a guardian cat and not a random stray. Hopefully this was Ash. Come to think of it, she did look familiar… "I'm Gunn, yeah," she said, "no need for anyone to embarrassed." With a new human acquaintance, Gunn would've been evaluating muscle tone and the look in their eyes, but the United States Air Force didn't train people to read cats when people were volunteering for SERE classes. "I saw you had a lot of internet contact methods when I was looking at my sign-in list from the training camp I ran," she said, giving her own pedigree while also explaining where her contact had come from. "Are you any good with computers? I'm trying to start up a housing situation for people who have recently purified. Except I'm hitting a barrier with those who have higher education, like, college and s**t. Was wondering if you knew any basic hacking… stuff?"

Ash preened as she settled herself to sit for a bit of a talk. So the girl had noticed her? How lovely! Though it did sound like she hadn't browsed any of those social media sites... She would have had a nice write up of her skills, though there was always the chance the senshi hadn't believed them. That was a bit of a sad thought.
"Oh my dear, you have come to the right cat! I am well versed in a multitude of programming languages and while it's probably not a skill to boast about, I have been know to, ah... Poke my nose into virtual places where I probably have no business being. I'm discreet though! They rarely even know I've been there, and once you're inside..." She shrugged loosely, her silky tail sweeping over the stone. "Child's play at that point."
Senshi thus assured of her ability, Ash pondered the request. Forging digital documents was easy... "It won't be hard to create the proper files, darling, but if we do something, we should do it proper. Which means making sure anyone tracing this made up trail doesn't run into a dead end that raises questions. Could take some time, but it certainly wouldn't be something I wouldn't put all of my energy into accomplishing." A broad kitten smile spread over her silver face and she beamed.
"Do you have something you need done now, or is this a bit of a networking, for-the-future thing?"

Okay… so, Gunn liked this cat. She had heard of Mauvians bonding to senshi, and, well--yo, if she could pick one, it'd be this one. "It's a networking thing," she said. "The only issue we've run into so far was for a guy graduating medical school, and he retained civilian memories so he literally just walked in with some name change paperwork and, like, changed it." Which had been ballsy, considering no one knew Nick Wellington was Paul Wyndham. You go, Nicky. Two med school degrees for you. Also, that was why his nickname was 'Belzy'. "I wasn't going to ask you to do something without offering fair trade in return," said Gunn. "I imagine it's pretty difficult for a guardian cat to find a place to stay, what with the whole being able to talk and not being an indoor…" she'd been about to say animal, but no "…person. So, if you need a place to crash, we've got space at my apartment building. Florence Court. I'm totally willing to put in a cat door for you if you like. Leave a window open in an apartment for you. That sort of thing."

Ash perked up a little at the mention of the med student.
"That seems a risky move..." She said, looking concerned. "He just... changed his civilian name? I mean... anyone who knew his civilian name when he was in the negaverse would find it easy work to find records of the change and what the new name is... Unless I'm misunderstanding the process." The guardian laughed as she rolled her shoulders, shrugging off her confusion. The young man most likely knew what he was doing, and if not, it wouldn't take much to do some snooping around and lay some false trails around the new name for his protection.
A pointed ear twitched as Ash was drawn back to the conversation by the mention of an apartment building.
"That sounds like a lovely idea! Is everyone there senshi and knights, or are you mixing with civilians? I wonder if there is anyone I know living there... I've been living out of Head Quarters under Destiny Tower and while its a fairly nice place, I have to share it with all the other cats... no privacy at all! I've been really yearning for my own space, somewhere I could get a proper computer set up..." The little silver head titled as green eyes went dreamy, imagining the ideal set up... all the screens and towers and servers humming away in a soothing half-light, everything in easy reach of cat paws...
