The jabberwock from her class walked in, and Selene felt the well of shame threaten to disable her, but she was already sitting down and she couldn't sink any lower. So she folded her hands carefully in front of her, ducked her head so that her hood could shadow her blushing face, and nodded gently. "Yes.. oh.. homework of course.. and the reading material, hum... ah! Yes, I remember now! Please, have a ssssseat, and I'll ah.. mmm.. yes..."
Entirely too distracted for her own good, Selene got up out of her chair and stumbled over to her extensive library collection, looking for books by the author F. Stein. She'd completely forgotten that the jabberwock asked her for a list, and not the actual books.
"Aha.. hmm... yes.." She was speaking to the books now, as she touched their spines carefully while deciding. She'd pull a book out every so often, and place it in her left hand. "Right then! This should do it." Returning to her seat, she dropped a stack of four books in front of the boil. "Some of these should suit you. Ah, you can just leave your homework there, thank you! Now, let's see, what have we got here.. his biography.. his science journal.. well, now what is it exactly you were hoping to obtain from the books of Stein? Perhaps that can help me narrow the field down for you!"
