 The whole world was completely new to her on this day. She was finally free from that awful carnival and had the entire world before her, but she also had no idea what to do. She had never been taught how to live on her own. She had no idea what she could eat, what was safe to drink, where to sleep? She looked around and for some reason the first thing she focused on was a lovely yellow dandelion. The color of the flower made her curious. Yellow? Was it supposed to be yellow? Wiggling her little stub of a tail she bounded towards it to figure out its mysteries.

Regalia had managed to sneak away from his family for the day to go play with his best friend Cinis in the woods and was feeling rather cheerful. With a swagger in his step and a whistle on his lips he would copy the sounds of the birds as best he could. It wasn't entirely convincing but not bad for a horse or a foal rather.
He came to a small clearing and spotted a filly a little bit older than him or at the very least a little bigger than he was anyway, perhaps she was new in the area. Regalia liked meeting new friends so it wouldn't hurt to be friendly.
"Hi." He said bounding through the grass toward her in a playful fashion.

So focused was she on the dandelion that at first she didn't hear the call of the other foal, but eventually his voice reached her brain and she turned around to look at who was talking to her.
When her eyes finally found the one speaking she stopped before answering. He was so different that her. Why did he have a fluffy short tail? Why did he have scales? Those where scales right?
Like her he was a vivid orange, and that fascinated her. His greeting was a simple hi so she echoed it, "Hi, hello!" There she went again, her silly fashion of speaking, and happily blurted out in a very bright sunny way.
The leaves on the vines around her throat swayed lightly in the breeze.

Wasteland Wyvern sorry I've been in the middle of moving across the country. Unreliable Internet and a generally hectic schedule has kinda been kicking my butt.
Oh! I can finally do it. Okay just like we practiced he thought to himself. Nothing to it.
By folding one leg back , the other forward and tucking his head he gave a bow. He had been practicing for a long time and was nearly beside himself with excitement at not falling over or wobbling to much when he did it. Though he did his best to contain his excitement he had to clear his throat a bit to keep his voice steady as his heart raced in his chest.
"My name is Regalia." He said as confidently as he could. Wobbling a bit as he went back to a normal standing position, making sure to maintain a respectable posture.
You see more than anything regalia wanted to be seen as a soq of distinction, a gentleman, and a scholar.

Pumpkin watched curiously as the colt walked over to her and did something where he leaned over, and then introduced himself. "I was named Pumpkin Spice but you can call me Pumpkin if you want. Everyone does. Its nice tah meet'cha!" She thought about the thingy he did with his legs and head and asked curiously, "So what was that, that you did there with your legs and head? Never seen anyone do that!" She was always so bright and cheerful. It was a force of habit after living in the carnival. If one didn't keep a bright attitude one would fall into melancholy and some even took their own lives. She shook her head to keep those thoughts away. Cocking her head she watched him, waiting for something, thought even she wasn't sure what.

Though the question struck him as odd he didn't feel it would be right to judge her.
"It called a bow. It's done as a formal greeting. Kind of like-" he paused thinking for a moment " well . . . ummm a really really fancy hello that you do with your whole body. So like a dancing hello almost."
He hopped that explanation made sense. "It's the proper way of making an introduction when meeting someone you want to impress for the first time."
His short deer like tail wiggled.
"Pumpkin huh? Well I can see why you look just like one! I love pumpkins they are my favorite snack."

Pumpkin listened to his explanation of what a bow was, nodding her head the whole time. "That makes a lot of sense Regalia. A dancing hello." She suddenly got it into her head to try it herself. With wobbly legs she attempted to lower her head with her legs like his and promptly fell over onto her side.
She righted herself and looked at him. "Harder than it looks isn't it?" She giggled both for falling over and for his comment that he likes to eat Pumpkins. "Well I hope you don't eat me!" She was just being silly like a filly should but after it was out of her mouth she wondered if he would take it wrong.
Rolling to a sitting position she looked up at him shyly.

Wasteland Wyvern Told you it would go well! lol just saw that senshi got a mate that's awesome! I'm glad he found someone.
Regalia laughed a little and replied "That's exactly what i said the first time I tried it."
He plopped down in the grass sitting opposite of her. "Me eat you? No I don't think so. I get in trouble enough with my own family I don't think I would want to get in trouble with yours." He looked about "Are you from around here?" He added.

Well at least she knew how to do it now and with practicing she could become much better at it, but boy was it a hard thing to do! "Well to be honest I don't have a family. I escaped from the Blood Moon Carnival with my twin sister but we got separated about a month ago. I've been looking for her but I don't know this place at all!" She put as much emotion and emphasis into her explanation as she could. For one so young she dearly missed her sister but she didn't know how to do anything! The workers at the carnival did it all for her. From food to helping her take a bath. She grimaced and looked back at the dandelion. Such a simple thing but still so new to her.
AllSummedUpNJazz I am glad Senshi and Sonata found each other. They are so perfect for each other. This RP is giving me the giggles! Regalia must think her a bit of a twit but hopefully he can make her life much better.

Shame flushed through regalia like a bucket of hot water being poured over his head.
"Escaped? Wait so . . . You just been out here alone? For a month? No one to look after you and separated from the family you do have?." He asked quietly imagining what that might feel like.
No wonder she seemed so odd she's lost in more ways than one. Wheels began to turn in his mind about all the dangerous things that could happen to her an how lucky she was that it was him that found her and not a more unsavory type. There was an influx in skin walkers in this area lately.
What could he do to help? His mother wouldn't believe him and undoubtedly his brothers wouldn't have the time.
"Cinis!" He exclaimed aloud. She was a loner she practically raised herself she knew a lot so maybe she would know what to do.
"Come on spice I wanna introduce you to someone!" He said and began to run through the field toward the forest.

She watched with curiosity as Regalia looked to be in deep thought over something that bothered him. Cocking her head she didn't expect his sudden outburst, and almost rolled backwards in surprise. "Cinis? Meet Cinis? Um okay if you think I should Regalia!" She was so quick to trust, so quick to follow, one day that might net her a whole load of trouble but in the meantime she was safe with this other foal. At least she hoped.
She rose to her feet and ran after him catching up quickly since she was a heavy draft with much more developed muscles even at this age. She kept pace with him and tried not to interfere with his path while still keeping close.
AllSummedUpNJazz Whee Pumpkin gets two new friends. Thank you for suggesting this RP. Its really fun being able to play as Pumpkin. She's such a unique character.

He kept at a steady trot his head held high back straight. Posture was a a sign of class and refinement so he tried very hard to do well at it. After all one day he was going to be someone's Prince Charming, so he had better play the part.
"Cinis is great! You two are gonna love one another. I mean your both girls you already have that in common and besides she might know of a safe place you can stay." Regalia he said with a grin.
"I noticed you were looking at that flower oddly and you said you didn't have any parents. So I'm just going to ask was it because you didn't know if you could eat it?" He asked hesitantly as the went along deeper into the forest.
He could hear her stomach rumbling.
"It's okay if you don't know. I don't know a whole lot but I do know a bit and Cinis is really good. Her whole life is plants. If I didn't know better I would say she was half plant herself."

She blushed a little when he asked if she didn't know if the flower was food. How could she explain something like what the flower was to her to him without feeling dumb...? "Well actually I just kinda thought it was pretty..." Her stomach rumbled again, "But was it food? It didn't seem like food." Flowers shouldn't be food they were too pretty...
ProphetOfProfit Despite us not flinging them anymore, or at least for right now, I would still like to continue this RP. She does still need him to teach her how to live!
