In the Negaverse, news, speculation and rumor spread like wildfire, and there hadn't been a lot to talk about in a long time. So when news of a demotion and several other members being branded traitor, well, of course it was bound to reach everyone's ears, in some form or another. Bismuthite just so happened to be closer to the source than most. BIsmuthite wasn't exactly well known in the Negaverse. If anything, he was known as Wolframite's guard dog, close and protective. The majority didn't know that the two were lovers, not that Bis didn't try to make it known - he was a very possessive and jelous person. Otherwise, he was known as 'the guy with the cowboy hat and the pink.' He didn't do much to stick out. Really, these days he saw it as a chore, and wasn't really a die-hard warrior. He was in it for what little benefit there was for himelf. A chore - yes, being in the Negaverse these days, coming in and turning in energy quotas, it was a chore. His footsteps echoed down the dark torch-lit hall as he was leaving from turning in said quota.

After their joint project with the apartment, Titan had made it a point to do a little asking around as far as what other officers were known to be around Wolframite. The small lord had given him the name Billy, but it wasn't comfortable to use the civilian one so freely in search for the title. It wasn't thankfully how isolated he was, but only one name consistently came up in association- Bismuthite. The cowboy hat also came up. The fact that they were living together, or that they were together as partners didn't and the Lieutenant didn't share it around. He took the conversation with Ladon as one in confidence, between friends. He hadn't, in the weeks since, seen Wolframite. Which was sad. He could have called the other, but without a doubt the General was busy. Walking the hall of the Dark Kingdom, thoughts pressed with concern and uncertainty, Titan looked up to have his mind thrown back to his earlier considerations- THAT is a cowboy hat. There couldn't possibly be so many that it wouldn't be 'Billy'. And it felt like a General. Titan upped pace, not bothering with the quota turn in or people milling there, trotting after the other man and called- "General! General do you have a moment?"

Bismuthite stopped and glanced over his shoulder before turning towards the lieutenant. The general had a very rigid, if not disinterested, demeanor about his - as is he were prim, proper, and all together holier-than-thou. Cold, almost, and most certainly dangerous. It was true, Bismuthite saw most others as beneath him - pawns at the very best. There was a lifetime of reasons for that. And then...there was that pure love and devotion for Wolframite that made him seem almost human again. Otherwise, Bismuthite played the villain quite well. "Yes, lieutenant?" (eff long voice descriptions, he has Devil May Cry 3 Virgil's voice, pretty much. WIth a dash of Android 17.) And it seemed the Negaverse had their tank. With their line of work, being more lithe worked in the Negaverse's favor when it came to stealthily acquiring energy, or nimbly dodging an attack. On the other hand, sheer physical power was an asset too. Well, not as much now, but when there was more real fighting.... Things were so boring now. This war seemed to be at a long, long stale-mate. Nothing was happening...and that was worrying.

Titanlåvenite stopped at bowing distance, precise on his feet in spite of his size- his lord would accept nothing less. There was no reason to present less to another General. As it was, Titan did not wilt or hesitate at the cold reception. He was undoubtedly interrupting the General's time, and it was on a personal matter- personal matters of a lieutenant were by definition insignificant. "I'm Titan, sir." Rumor, though, made the insignificant more than worth the risk. "About Wolframite, sir. He and I are friends. He said he lived with you. I haven't seen him, and I've heard trouble. " Titan lifted a hand empty in the air, a motion of the futility, "I don't know the facts. I don't want to be a part of rumors. Can you tell me? Is he alright?" What happened to Ladon? Do you both need any help?

A friend? While Bismuthite was glad to hear that Wolframite, Ladon, had friends, he was a possessive person. Because of that, he bit back the urge for further posturing. "I can't say he is 'fine,' because he is still nursing a wounded ego and arm, but he came out of the situation alive. For his proclaimed 'treasonous' act of gathering an army of both chaos and order, against the Dark Mirror Court, he was demoted to lieutenant, and branded, among a few other things. But he is alive." That was the important thing. "While I by no means enjoy the prescence of the DMC, in fact I loathe it, his stand for revenge against the DMC for things the Blood Moon Court did was misplaced. The majority of the DMC had no part in the Blood Moon, or the things they did to him and other members of the Negaverse. It is very much like scolding a dog for something they did hours ago - they have no knowledge of what they did to deserve punishment. If he is to seek vengeance than it should be at the individual former Blood Moon senshi, regardless if they stayed with Order, or turned to Chaos. But, then again, when it comes to the things he went through at the hands of the Blood Moon, and trying to reason with him, well....you'd have better luck convincing the rivers to reverse their course." Bismuthite shook his head. He'd tried to reason with Wolframite, but it was to no avail, and now look what had happened! Now if Wolframite still sought revenge, it was too risky - he'd lost his power.

Titan blinked owlishly at the very full explanation of what Wolframite had done and why it was treasonous. It seemed thorough enough and practiced enough that it could be a script. Was he required to go through all of that by the Konge to all that asked? Was Wolframite? Maybe all the Generals were? "I...wasn't questioning why it happened, sir. I believe the Konge has reasons for his action." He gave an extended nod, like a bow, "But thank you. If I see Wolframite...I won't have to ask him painful questions." "Will I see him? Is he active in duty again? Is he allowed to patrol? Maybe he can only work in groups or with captains and better..." Titan wasn't sure if being a part of the SpecOps was enough to have clearance to keep an eye on someone called a traitor. Or what that would entail. If he was up for that sort of responsibility? If I can't protect a friend.....even...from themselves...then who can I protect? It is a good point to consider. I'm supposed to be keeping an eye on other agents for treason and my own friend, a general, is branded for that. "He mentioned he was with you, General. I only want to help you both as much as I can. The love was plain. Anything that can help him heal and have the shelter of you."

Well, Bismuthite always was a wordy sort. "That was my intent - to spare Wolframite any more poking and prodding for answers than need be. He worries a lot about how others see him, and yearns for acceptance and approval. His demotion weighs heavily on him. If I can make the burden lighter, then I will." It seemed to always be on Wolframite's mind, and he didn't need others making him tell it over and over again. "He needs support, knowing that his actions have not cost him his friendships. That is the best we can do for now. I'd urge you to offer to accompany him on patrol when I am unable. He has made enemies in his time here - many that would take advantage of his loss of power." He was sure the Lieutenant would catch his meaning - that Wolframite needed protection. he now had but a flimsy jump rope to fight with...it certainly wouldn't do any good against the likes of Gunn or Threan. Bismuthite was ever worried about Wolfy's safety, now more than ever. "Yes, we are together in the most intimate sense of the word. I thank you, and as I said, the best that can be done for him now is to know he is not alone or abandoned -- stigmatized -- by what he has done."

"I can do support. " Titan gave an affirmative, throaty noise to indicate understanding. A jump rope is not much help in a fight. I guess most of our 'weapons' as lieutenants aren't. "I would be happy to patrol with him anytime you can't. If I see him, I'll offer it. If I don't, please keep me in mind, General. Is he...under your direction now? Is he still in the SpecOps? Or has he been moved divisions?"

Bismuthite nodded. "He is under General King Zinkenite, and DMC leader, Leto's command." There was a definite down turn in mood - a thinly controlled rage - at the mention of Leto. Putting Wolframite under Leto's control....was the real betrayal here. Leto was one of the Blood Moon senshi. She was the one who captured Wolframite, leading to his torture. And Zinkenite just handed him back over to her. With a collar.

Under the Konge and the Princess both was intimidating and serious. He hadn't doubted it was serious once the word 'traitor' was bandied around, but it served as a point of reinforcement. Titan's only interview with the Konge, on the subject of visiting Pomona if the opportunity did present itself, had been pleasant enough. The man seemed mostly sleepless and busy, the airs of a Businessman who always had better things to do. I don't know if it is good or bad if wolframite's situation is one of those 'better things'. The full attention, even if only occasionally, of one of the Konge seems like it would be a bad idea. But why Konge Zinkenite? Wolframite was of the SpecOps, and our job is to look for traitors. Shouldn't he belong to Konge Howlite? Not that I deserve that sort of information. I wonder if Generals are even given answers of that, when it involves other Generals. The Konge may have met between themselves. Is Howlite in trouble for one of his own Generals being traitor? Wolframite and Obsidian both in bad strait. "I do not know Leto, except what is said in training. I have only met Remarque." "Are you alright, General? It is a lot going on." He accepted, even as he said it, that Bismuthite didn't owe him answer and might take offense. But he asked it just the same. I would not limit my friendship to Ladon only. You are his Billy. And as much as he needs friends, you probably do, too.

"So long as he is alive, so long as he will live, and so long as he can recover, then I will be alright," Bismuthite replied. So much of his own life depended upon Ladon's well-being. By logic, one would have though that, even though he didn't agree with Wolframite's plan, he would have been there to protect him, but Bismuthite knew the best way he could protect him, so long as he came out alive, which he did thankfully, was to stay out of it. Because if Bismuthite had also been stripped of power and labeled a traitor, then he wouldn't have the power to protect Wolframite. But there had been that nerve-wracking 'if he survived' the battle which had torn Billy up the most. That was passed now.

Titan nodded slowly. He could understand wholeheartedly the sentiment of a lover's well-being being the anchor to one's own. Still, it did not give any answer to the isolated person of Bismuthite beyond the surface. After all, I have only just met him. I have not earned knowing him alone. Or maybe he is not so deep. Maybe that is all the further he feels anything. There will be no telling for some time, if ever, I get to know him. "Any help either of you need. I'll do what I can. Thank you for the time, General." The lieutenant nodded respectfully, backing a step.
