Chalcanthite had been looking around for this new Lieutenant that he had wanted to try pulling under his wing. Hopefully before some senshi found her, that would be quite unfortunate. It wasn't too long ago that he himself was a newbie lieutenant with a useless weapon. Perhaps this girl would have more fighting ability though, any experience was more than he had at the beginning of this all. Now things were different, he didn't have to be up close and personal if he didn't want to be. This was a comfort to him now even as his arm was slowly healing. He couldn't let on that the strength wasn't back up yet but it would take some time to return as well as the dexterity in that hand. After a bit of wandering, he noticed a weak but familiar feelig aura nearby. It wasn't very difficult to tell the difference now that he had experience and also had held a General's starseed in his hand. He followed the aura until he saw a blue haired individual. He walked nearby her and then tapped her shoulder slightly. "Hello miss, are you lost or are you waiting on someone?" Just a simple question to find out if it was indeed the new lieutenant that stood before her, since she was new there wasn't really any info on her just yet that he could find while skimming quickly. If this wasn't her though they would give a different reply and he could drain them or just keep walking and act like nothing had happened, his attire wasn't really too much different that what someone who conducted music wore so he could say he was on the way to or from a recital or symphony.

Lianna looked around cautiously. Intelligent blue-grey eyes scanning all around her. No, not Lianna, that was her civilian identity. Her alter-ego. She was Empressite, lieutenant of the Negaverse. Newly awakened to new information, a new life. To a world at war. It was all new and different, and she needed to get used to it. To learn more, to get used to the benefits of the chaos that now flowed through her veins.
And to this end, she had heard that there were others of the Negaverse who would take others under their wings and help to train them. To help them become better. And that was why she was out this night. Why she was in this place. She was supposed to be meeting one such individual. Chalcanthite.
A hand tapped her shoulder, and it was all she could do not to jump out of her skin. She hadn't noticed him, even though she was on alert. Not wanting to have a run in with the enemy yet. The senshi. She wasn't ready yet to join the war. She wasn't strong enough, though she was working on remedying that, and her weapon was laughable. Marbles. Honestly, what good were they?
But now that he had gotten her attention, she wondered how she could have missed him. ' I am supposed to meet someone.' She looked him over, looking for details to say if he was the one she was to be meeting... or not. Not willing to commit to anything yet if he wasn't the person she was meeting.

Chalcanthite smiled with his warm smile, that one you just had to trust no matter what side you were on. "I believe it is I who you wait for my dear miss, I am Captain Chalcanthite. At your service of course." At this point he bowed, bringing one hand in front with a flourish and putting the other one behind him. "It is a pleasure to meet you Lieutenant Empressite, if you are ready we can begin going over lessons if you would like. I will do my best to answer and questions you may have, demonstrations may or may not follow but that depends on how this evening goes." Good impressions were always what mattered, especially if he wanted to pull the girl under his wing. Apprentices always were nice, whether in music lessons or fighting lessons. Once he stood back up from his bow he looked her up and down, wondering what useless weapon she had been given to start with. His had been a viola bow now it was an actually bow that could do things. At this point, he summoned his bow and held it out for her to see slightly. "What is your weapon so far dear miss? It will get an upgrade when you yourself grow and gain enough experience to be promoted. I think you will do fine though, everything is simple for the most part and can be easily learned." He smiled again for a moment, he could seriously get used to this. Though things would have to be keep very calm to prevent any senshi from showing up.

So this was who she was to be meeting. Finally, someone with decorum and proper manners. She curtsied slightly. 'Pleased to meet you.'
She was fortunate enough to have a fairly decent grasp of the basics- the fact that there was a war, what the two sides were, senshi were the enemy, her job as a low ranking - new - member of the Negaverse which was namely energy collection. So there were no questions as to that particular portion of her new life. But there were a few other curiosities- namely energy reading and concealing, youma, and any other information about her new 'family' or enemies that she could gather.
'I am pretty solid on the basics, at least in theory...so I can't think of questions about that.'
She watched as he summoned his weapon... Lucky. He had an actual useful weapon. Her hand reached out as though to explore the bow, but then stopped. She wasn't exactly sure what the etiquette was regarding one's weapons. 'That is so much more useful than mine...'
She concentrated, still not comfortable with summoning her weapon. It was still an effort and wasn't nearly as smooth as his. The handful of marbles materialised, a few falling out of her hand. ' The only thing these are good for are tripping others or as distractions. And maybe, if I'm lucky, causing bruises.' She flicked a marble towards Chalcanthite, knowing there was no way it would do anything.
Hearing that she would get an upgrade to her weapon as she got promoted, and that could only be a good thing. So what she really needed, more than anything, were opportunities to act. Actions to benefit the Negaverse and to help her stand out.

"That is splendid, basics are the foundation on more advanced skills of course. Hand to hand combat is of course one of the basics needed for Lieutenants as well as those who have a close combat styled weapon. I still use my close combat abilities for when I am unable to have a certain distance between me and my enemy." He noticed as she stopped, perhaps she thought that it would harm her or something if she touched it. He smiled slightly and caught the marble before holding it up to the sky and looking at it with a spark of curiosity in his eye. "You could trip people up with these quite well, the look pretty sturdy and useful for disabling or disorienting an opponent if used correctly. My first weapon was a viola bow, useful for whacking and blocking hits but not much more. But on our topic of weapons, what do you know of the creatures called youma?" He was partially curious as to if she had the same curiosity for the creatures as he did or if he was one of the weirdos who liked the things.

Empressite sighed. Of course she would be required to make up for the utter fail of her so-called weapon with hand to hand fighting. It was not that she was against it, but with her luck, and her high profile civilian life... how was she going to explain away all the bruises, injuries and the quick healing times that were bound to happen? Utterly fantastic.
'Great. I guess that means I am going to have to find a sparring partner...' She ran through a list of friends and acquaintances, dismissing those who didn't have the time or ability to help her, and then realising that those she knew were civilians anyway, and probably not much help with what she would need. This totally sucked. 'How do you keep in practice? Is there like some button on this crystal thingy that sends a training request or something?'
She looked at the rest of the marbles in her hand. Ok, so they might not be totally useless, but still, they were more of a hinderance than help. With a thought she banished them back to wherever it was the weapons were stored until summoned. Just where was that anyway? She spared a thought to note the question for future research.
Youma. She shuddered thinking of the two she had met. And the implication Avalon hinted to. The fact that they were once human, and there was some process they underwent to become monsters. 'I've only seen two. Both with a general. Stheno and Shay were what they were called. I don't know all that much. Twisted beings that were once human but underwent something that changed them. '
'They seem ... pitiable. Tortured. But there is that about them that is disconcerting and strong.' She let out a self deprecating laugh. ' I'm still so new to this life. I don't know all that much of anything. I must sound so stupid...'

"I can assist you in training at any time if needed, I have a few areas set up where there are targets and dummies to practice with as well. As for me, I practice my archery in the woods near land I as once entitled to. You can, of course, call other agents to ask for training or assistance through the communicators. They can be quite useful especially if you get in trouble or need a place to hide out that is safe." He in turn vanished his bow and took out his sketchpad. After a moment he sketched up a few of the youma he had dealt with in the rift over his visits there. Each one took a different shape and then he drew Natron's personal youma in more detail. "They can be useful and after a point perhaps you can enlist the aid of one that will be tired specifically to you. This one here belongs to a general that I speak with frequently, he is very helpful and welcoming of newcomers. " He put his hand on her shoulder and smiled with a smile that could melt any heart. " It is alright, I can help you learn. Stupid is only applicable if one refuses to learn and look out for themselves in this world. You will do fine and there are always others to lean on if you need aid ok?"After he finished his explanation, mentioned to contact him if she required anything else. With a medium pace, he left to continue his errands for the week.
