CLICK ME AND SQUEE!I'm sure once we get closer to the release date, July 5th, we'll see Tuxedo Mask's design, as well as Luna, Artemis, and villains. Tuxedo Mask's original VA dropped from the project, so only Sailor Moon's original VA will be reprising her role. I was really hoping Keiko Han would reprise her role as Luna, since she did in PGSM. But it's already been confirmed that besides Sailor Moon's VA, there will be a completely new cast. And for those wondering, it will be streaming on Niconico Douga the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of every month starting on July 5th. On the site, there will be options for subtitles in 7 different languages, including English. On a related note; Ami's sweater and Mars' hair. heart

They weren't kidding when they said they were going to be more true to the manga WOW! I have two volumes here in my room and the character design is almost identical.
Side note: Mars hair, I think I'm in love anew!

I have to admit, I like how Usagi, Makoto, and Rei all look; Rei looks more... approachable and interesting while they all look a little better than they did in the old series (which I will admit I did watch reruns of and it wasn't too bad until the Stars series).

Kaosujin Ryu I have to admit, I like how Usagi, Makoto, and Rei all look; Rei looks more... approachable and interesting while they all look a little better than they did in the old series (which I will admit I did watch reruns of and it wasn't too bad until the Stars series). Lol never did get to watch the start series. But I really like the show (recently obtained the uncut season one in Japaneses with English subs!).

Necra Eclips Kaosujin Ryu I have to admit, I like how Usagi, Makoto, and Rei all look; Rei looks more... approachable and interesting while they all look a little better than they did in the old series (which I will admit I did watch reruns of and it wasn't too bad until the Stars series). Sweet; if the inner Senshi look as they do... makes you wonder what the outer Senshi will look like, if they're included...

Apparently the anime will only be available for streaming by Premium Members on Niconico. Premium membership costs $5 a month, which I know I will be paying for. I know this applies to the initial stream of each episode, but I don't know if it will be available to the general public after it airs or not.

I love the new designs!! thank you for talking about the new animation. I love the fact everything looks so much closer to the manga. heart
Sailor Mercury: She looks very pretty. I love her new look. Mm, her senshi costume has no shoulder pads. 3nodding
Sailor Mars: I like how her hair is a deep purple and not black with purple highlights. They also changed her earrings into elongated stars. biggrin
Sailor Jupiter: They changed her hair color to a more cherry brown. I love her design most.
Sailor Venus: They changed the former yellow hair to a more mild shade. I also noticed they added her waist chain. whee

I love how the characters look in the new anime, it is really like they were taken from the manga. I don't know how I feel about it being $5, I was hoping that it would be free to watch and then I'd just watch ads or something instead. Hopefully I can get it somewhere else in English down the line if it's a cost thing.
