Appearance: Kiba looks likes a small schoolboy, the type that would be picked on by bullies daily. Apart from his eyes, there is nothing too noticeable about him. He has black hair like the majority of individuals of Japanese descent and no noticeable markings or piercings. This plays in his favor when it comes to covert operations however.
He wears standard Shinigami uniform with a black bodysuit underneath it. The suit acts as dampener, helping him erase his spiritual presence even during battle when he's not pushing his Reiatsu at its limit. It makes it much harder to predict his movement by sensing his flow or Reiryoku and serves to confuse his opponent. He dislikes showing his face so even during official meetings, he wears a black cloth that covers the lower half of his face.

Family: None that are biological. He wandered alone in Rukongai for the majority of his life until he was taken in by workers of the Onmitsukido, hence, his unwavering loyalty to it.
He would later adopt the name of 'Hagureta' along with the surviving trainees of the special unit that went by the same name.
Personality: Kiba is extremely quiet and inauspicious so he is often disregarded by others. It doesn't bother him one bit and he actually enjoys blending into the background because it allows him to focus on observing the world instead of engaging in it. For the most part, unless it is for official matters, he prefers to leave the the world around him untouched, wandering in the shadows, unknown to the populace and minimizing his influence as much as possible. He can also be a bit of a hermit, avoiding social interactions just so that he will not leave any traces of his existence.
He used to be someone that needed a purpose in life, but his time as part of the Hagureta Unit has conditioned him to believe that he, along with the rest of his colleagues, need to police over Seireitei from the shadows. His training was meant to ensure his blind obedience and a fanatic worship of his superiors, but it backfired, giving him a goal in life and a sense of duty bigger than even they. This eventually lead to the downfall of the mastermind that guided the Hagureta Unit astray.
It could be said that his only hobby is turning assassination and deceit into an art 'for a better world'. He doesn't really have any other interest and is a bland individual to most. It is extremely hard to truly get close to him as he can be extremely manipulative when needed. He is cold at best, impersonal and formal in his interactions, and deflects any questions asked about his person. His upbringing and life in Rukongai has made it so that his ethics and moral compass may be different from a lot of the Shinigamis which really isn't ideal to make friends. What some may consider taboo can be an everyday occurrence or necessity to him. This makes Kiba extremely hard to unsettle. He rarely shows any emotions mainly because it is rare for him to feel anything strong enough to warrant a reaction, but his lack of empathy can also hinder his judgement because he will have a hard time predicting irrational, emotional reactions.
It should be noted that Kiba was never trained to think of Hollows as enemies and sees them as merely another part of the soul cycle. To him, they are much less threatening and hateful than Quincies.

Biography: Kiba had been a nameless child from the 80th district of Southern Rukongai. He was as weak as all starving infants of the area yet unlike a lot of them, he knew how to survive. He knew how to avoid unwanted attention, hiding and blending into his surroundings had become a specialty of his. When those were not enough, his subdued nature allowed him to escape most confrontations with nothing more than a few bruised ribs. He became agile and deft when it came to stealing food, learning to mask his Reiatsu even at a young age. As he aged and gained experience, survival was no longer as hard, but his youth and the dangerous environment that he lived in made it almost impossible for him to be on talking terms with anyone let alone make friends of his age. Thus, he spent the first fifty or so years of his afterlife wandering alone throughout the eightieth district. It allowed him to polish his survival skills and become a master of stealth, but it was a meaningless existence.
When he was nearing his seventh decade, Kiba was suddenly approached by a what he had initially thought as a vagrant swordsman and offered a job within the Seireitei. The man had been a member of the Onmitsukido, and was scouting for recruits that specialized in stealth in Rukongai. It would be known as the Hagureta Unit, a unit composed of 'strays' taken from all corners of Rukongai.
They would be covert ops, a group of individuals meant to work in the shadows of shadows. It was a project only few of the Onmitsukido were aware of as their purpose were to serve as a sort of police to the Secret Ops of Sereitei. Only the highest ranking personnel and Central 46 were aware of their existence. They would specialize in infiltration and assassination of their own kind and would have the most unsavory tasks assigned to them. Deceit was key and stealth was golden. Of course, they would need to undergo gruesome training to be properly qualified, the man had explained, but food and lodging would all be provided for as long as they were useful. Kiba and his fellow trainees would have a dangerous future ahead of them, but seeing that he had absolutely none in the dump that was an eightieth district, Kiba agreed without needing much convincing.
For the next decade or so, Kiba put everything into his training. They were trained mentally--some could even argue that it was more brainwashing than training-- and physically outside of Seireitei walls, isolated from the rest of the Covert Ops. No one was to know of their existence after all. He found out that he excelled in stealth work even among his peers and soon rose to become the leader of the Hagureta Unit. His Shikai also made him extremely efficient when it came to corpse disposal and before long, he found himself 'graduating' from the training regime. Only then was he officially inducted into the Onmitsukido as a new, talented trainee. He would work there for decades, rising among the ranks of the patrol corps while keeping the existence of this special unit a secret.
The project would have remained so had Kiba not noticed that his brothers in arms' assassination targets soon became senior members of the Covert Ops that were aware of their existence a few decades into his infiltration of the Onmitsukido. He did not say anything about it at first, his conditioning prevented him from doubting his superiors, even when almost all of the people involved in project Hagureta, members of Central 46 included, were assassinated. Until he was reminded of the Hagureta Unit's purpose. They were only to ensure that the Shinigamis would not stray from their duties and jeopardize the balance of the worlds, slaying all who threatened it from the shadows of anonymity. This included against his superiors as not even they were flawless. Thus, he did the unthinkable: he investigated the people giving out orders. After much scheming and snooping, it was revealed that one of the founders of their unit, the man who had trained them, the 'Rearer', was the one pulling the strings to order the assassination of his colleagues so that he may have full control of their unit for the purpose of striking down the Gotei from within. The man had been working with rebels who were working on a plan to shatter the boundaries between worlds so that all souls may coexist and Hollows would have nowhere to hide.
As interesting as the concept of a single afterlife, the risks were far too great for Kiba's liking so he exposed his ex-mentor's plans to the remaining leaders of their unit to get permission to act and the back-up he would need. He had only just achieved Bankai at the time and had made no effort to inform his colleagues of it. Only a few of his superiors had known because he had deemed it necessary for an efficient distribution of tasks. Despite it being immature, his Bankai was enough to get him appointed as leader of the operation.
The confrontation took place in the woods of Rukongai and many, both from the Hagureta Unit and the Onmitsukido were killed. Some of Kiba's units even turned on them, aligning themselves with the traitor that had raised them, but in the end, they were triumphant. The Shinigami rebels were not completely cleansed as Kiba did not have the chance to capture anyone alive, but it was enough to deter any insurgents for a while. The Hagureta Unit had lost too many people to still be functional, however, and were assimilated back into the Onmitsukido. Due to their initial purpose and their rogue trainer, the majority of them were put under watch, but how does one monitor those who were trained specifically for stealth?
The event was not a complete disaster though. It further highlighted the importance of a police group working without anyone's knowledge in Kiba's eyes and he realize that it was now his duty to pick up their unit's work. He would dedicate his body, mind and soul to mastering the skills necessary to make sure the Shinigamis will stay true to their duties of balancers of worlds. Though the majority of his brothers in arm have all, but passed away, still a handful remained. It was not enough though and he has come to realize that they needed to infiltrate not only the Onmitsukido, but also the Gotei 13 as well. Because of that, he started actively looking for like-minded people willing to join their cause both in Rukongai or among the ranks of the Gotei.
Three decades later, Kiba found himself summoned for a captain proficiency test. His superiors had nominated him to take over Division 2 and the Onmitsukido. It would put Kiba in a higher position than them and to accept the position would be their last order to him. Though he didn't really enjoy the thought of being put under the spotlight because of his new position, he did see the use of ruling over the Covert Ops and Division 2. His title would give him the credentials and excuses to keep secrets, perfect to better harbor a secret society that would watch over Seireitei behind the backs of even the Onmitsukido.

Shikai Released Appearance:[x][x] Upon activation, the handle wrapping of the sword will unfurl into strips of black leather and wrap themselves around Kiba's face while the metal of the blade will melt into a floating sphere of liquid and shoot into his mouth. Saibanmoe takes the shape of a leathery mask in Shikai form. It covers Kiba's lower face and reaches back to wrap itself around his neck. Though it has the same property as leather, air can still easily flow through it, but the material is dense enough to filter out most airborne toxin. A mockery of a mouth baring clenched teeth is drawn where Kiba's mouth is and between the drawn the teeth is an opening aligned with Kiba's mouth. The opening is appearing and disappearing, its sides fusing and defusing with Kiba's jaw movements. The Shikai expands inwards to cover his teeth and oral cavity with a layer of extremely resistant metal molded in a way to turn Kiba's teeth razor sharp and even add two extra rows behind his teeth in a manner that resembles a shark. The tips of the teeth are searing hot, hot enough to burn through metal without any proper heat resistance during extended exposure. The heat does not affect the Zanpakuto itself. His tongue is almost completely immobilized, flattened against his lower jaw, making it rather difficult to talk or use Kido as a matter of fact. It should be noted that he may not detach his Shikai from his body without damaging it or resealing it.
Shikai Abilities:
Jigoku Kōshō|地獄咬傷 [Passive]
A noticeable increase of power for all jaw and neck muscles at the cost of the motility of the former. During Shikai, he has a bite force of 200lbs per square inch, a number equivalent to many species of parrots. The power is at least doubled in Bankai. As mentioned earlier in the description, the tip of his armored teeth become extremely hot, but glow with a dim, almost gray light instead of what would expected of heated metal. If clenched around a metallic blade that is not heat resistant by nature for more than a post, the teeth may melt holes into it without Kiba needing to apply pressure. The heat level remains static, unable to increase even once Bankai has been activated. However, it does not decrease over time even when exposed to a cold environment nor does it require more energy to maintain the heat.
Kagu|嗅ぐ [Passive]
Using large amounts of spiritual energy will leave traces of Reiryoku that Kiba can 'smell' while in Shikai even a day after the deed. Not only that, he may distinguish the owner of the Reiryoku and be able to follow the scent to track down his target unless the target somehow managed to completely stop emitting Reiatsu to throw him off their track. Has a range of 20 yards in Shikai. In Bankai, it has a range of 100 yards and 400 yards if it is to smell the Reiryoku left by his Hinoiki flames. Those flames leave a different type of smell, making sure that he will not confuse it with other sources of Reiryoku.
Soshaku| 咀嚼:
This ability allows Kiba to transform what enters his mouth into pure spiritual energy. It works in ways similar to Quincies' Reishi absorption power except that it does not have a range meaning that he cannot pull the Reishi to him, he needs to put it in his mouth himself. The more Reiryoku infused within the Reishi entering his mouth, the more energy Kiba will gain. This means that eating rock or grass won't give him much energy in comparison to eating part of another Shinigami's zanpakuto or limb. Needless to say that energy based attacks will only energize him unless strong enough to completely overpower him (A direct hit of a level 50+ Kido Spell when in Shikai, level 85+ when in Bankai). 'Digestion' takes place in the mouth and only in the mouth. Though there is an opening leading to his throat, Kiba must not swallow anything that comes into his mouth since the rest of his digestive system is unaltered. Fortunately, the absorption and digestion rate of his mouth is very quick, but the bigger the pieces, the longer he will need to completely absorb the Reishi while pure energy is absorbed almost instantaneously. Liquid are absorbed faster than solids but yield less energy, while vapor yields almost none, but the process is quasi-instantaneous.
Yoku|欲
This turns Kiba's mouth into a powerful vacuum that pulls all that is not securely anchored to the ground towards his mouth. It has a range of 30 yards and the closer one is from Kiba, the stronger the pull on them will be. In Bankai, it is powerful enough to deviate projectiles from their target and unroot young saplings from the ground even at its maximum range. He may suck in a great amount of air because though it is air, it is still particles that can be broken down and digested due to Soshaku. However, this can only be activated for 2 posts at a time with a cooldown of 5 posts in between uses.
Bankai Status: Achieved
Bankai Description:[x] Bankai is activated by calling out the release word and snapping his jaw shut. The leather around his face will shatter as though made of glass to construct a metallic Komainu mask covering the lower half of his face, his nose and the middle of his forehead where it ends in a long horn. Despite what the crappy picture may insinuate, its jaws are mobile and may open and close concurrently to Kiba's jaw movements and are made of the same fire resistant metallic material that covered his teeth in Shikai. It adds an extra row of teeth outside of Kiba's mouth and increases the range of his bites slightly. A black flame with red outline will dance at the tip of that horn. It is extremely hot to anyone but Kiba, with the same properties as the mask's Jigoku Kōshō teeth. It is often mistaken for an Arrancar mask, but it is not and actually has a metallic shine to it.
Bankai Abilities: All of his Shikai's abilities are available and 'upgraded' in terms of power and speed proportionally to the Reiatsu boost obtained by releasing Bankai. There is also a very noticeable leap in pure power between Shikai and Bankai. Whereas the former was more accessory, giving him additional tools, the latter, Bankai is all about pure destruction so stealth is forgone for pure destructive power. This implies that the power leap is so great that even Kiba cannot completely mask the release of his Bankai. At most, if he tries his hardest, he may only pass it off as a Shinigami Shikai release.
Shakunetsu Kiri|灼熱錐
Allows Kiba to produce a powerful spinning blast of Reiryoku from his mouth. The blast's sole purpose is to drill through what it touches while carrying the same heat as his bite. The farther the blast is from its caster, the stronger it gets as it needs some time to gather momentum. However, this momentum does not decrease after hitting any obstacle unless it is one that is insurmountable that will force the blast to explode on the spot. It has a maximum range of 1 mile after which it will just explode, releasing all the energy its gathered in a rain of black, scorching flames. Cooldown of 3 posts unless Kiba has absorbed the a lot of Reiryoku prior to this, then he may return what he has absorbed immediately through this blast.
Handan no Kao|判断の顔
Kiba can 'shoot' out his mask at will. The mask will detach itself from his face and come to life. Within a second it will grow to reach a height of 6 feet while a 20 yards long chain will sprout from its back and wrap itself around Kiba's arm. In this state, Kiba can no longer use any other ability as they all rely heavily on the presence of his mask. This form possesses all of Kiba's Bankai abilities and can be mentally controlled by Kiba. It also can fly, meaning that it can be used as a method of transportation. It cannot be farther than 1 mile from its owner, otherwise, it will simply revert back to its sealed state, leaving Kiba without his zanpakuto.
Hinoiki|火の息
Allows Kiba to breathe out a type of black flames whose only fuel is the Reiryoku he initially pours into them. This means that they cannot be put out by being deprived of oxygen, the usual fuel of normal flames, as they are not what is needed for the flames to keep burning. These flames will automatically die out after 5 posts provided that nothing saps away their initial pool of energy. They are not affected by wind and once expelled from Kiba's mouth, they will travel in a straight line until they come into contact with any solid surface, even things that are usually 'fireproof'. There, they will spread out until the flames cover an area with a radius of 10 yards and flicker at a height of 3 feet. Wind cannot affect their movement and will simply pass through them as though they were holograms. There is no cooldown or a limit to the amount of times Kiba may used this technique, but it would be suicidal to abuse of it because he is not shielded from those flames and said flames are powerful enough to melt through his otherwise heat resistant Bankai mask. Though static, happily blazing about a fixed area, objects that have been set ablaze by the black flame can be turned into fiery projectiles, but the burning projectile will not pass on the flames to what it hits. It will burn its target so long as the flames around it are close enough to the target, but the target will not catch on fire once a perimeter the fire has spread to its maximum surface area. They also emit a distinctive 'smell' only Kiba may smell through Kagu. It is very different from normal Reiryoku so he has no trouble telling it apart even in an area saturated with spiritual energy.
Kido:
He is able to use spells up to #90, but he is unable to use double incantations (Nijū Eishō) or delayed incantation (Kōjutsu Eishō) on spells above 60. For spells below 30, he has developed the ability to summon them without even saying their number or classification, he would only need to call out the name of the spell for them to appear. He does not know any forbidden spell, but knows some small barrier Kido. (Kyōmon, Standing Ovation, Escudo, Goyōgai, Hako Okuri)
Hakuda:
Grand Master Hakuda user. Considering the fact that he is the head of the Onmitsukido, being extremely skilled at handling his opponents barehanded is expected of him though it isn't too uncommon for him to use hidden weapons and poison along with his hand-to-hand skills. It may be seen as cheating, but there was never any honor in the art of killing. Dignity, pride and honor were things all recruits from his generation had cast aside upon signing up. Seeing that he is still growing and puberty is so damn late, he's learned to redirect his opponents' blows or use their strength against themselves. He rarely fights using sheer brute power unless he is in a rush and Bankai is activated. He prefers deceit for a swift assassination, but has learned to fend for himself when he has lost the element of surprise.
-Acupoint strikes: using a multitude of strategically placed hits to interfere with his opponents' flow of Reiryoku and inflict numbness if not paralysis. Striking near the abdomen or head area will cause internal bleeding. Though it is known to be able to disable individuals with one strike, that is only made possible by very skilled users that can lend a precise hit. In the heat of battle, usually 2-3 hits are needed to provoke any effect.

-Mukyū Shunkō: Though he can expand it, his mukyu Shunko is smaller in size and swirling much tighter around his limbs.
Hoho:
Grand Master Hoho user. Though Kiba is not the fastest in Shinigami history, his Hoho techniques are considered fast even among captain-level individuals and that holds true even when without the release of his Shikai or Bankai. As a matter of fact, his zanpakuto does not increase the speed of his movements or Hoho techniques meaning that his natural speed is easily on par with Bankai using individuals without even trying. He also possess incredible stamina when using high-speed movements and does not get tired easily even after a few dozens of consecutive shunpos. That, combined with his agility and flexibility makes him a tricky opponent to catch even when close to him.
-Airwalk: Shinigamis may gather Reishi under their feet so as to have a foothold while in the air.
-Airskate and Airslide: Airskate is a more advanced technique than Airslide. It reduces friction between between the air and the feet of its user to almost none, allowing them to skate in the air with only a small push as opposed to Airslide that loses momentum due to Reishi friction with the air and the Shingiami's limb.
-Shunpo, applicable to both arms and legs

-Senka, he may use this with Shunko or Kido to pierce his opponent's abdomen (needless to say that it's much messier...)
-Speed Clones: Limit of 10 and they only last 1 post. Cooldown of 5 before he may use them again. It is perhaps the only technique that tires him.
Zanjutsu:
Proficient. He would pass the Shino Academy's examinations with flying colors and has enough combat experience to be able to use it against opponents other than sparring partners, but for the most part, his agility and speed is what makes his a decent sword-wielder. When Reiatsu differences are put aside, he may hold his own against trained individuals, but masters swordsman are a bit too much for him and he would rather switch to hand-to-hand combat, something he's much more comfortable with.

-Expert in the field of Reiatsu and Reiryoku control: Reiatsu is the pressure exerted by one's emission of Reiryoku. Kiba specializes in controlling his flow of Reiryoku which gives him an edge over opponents who only know how to wildly release their Reiatsu. With his minute control, he may time small bursts with each of his movements. These bursts provide him with much more explosive power than one would expect of an individual of his Reiatsu level. This may also slightly increase the reach of his movements, allowing him to scrape individuals that would have otherwise escaped unscathed. These timed bursts of Reiatsu also allows him to save his energy, only using up spiritual energy when necessary and at a controlled rate. It is the basis of his Shunko, but with less flashy results as the Reiatsu only adds concussive damage, nothing as explosive as channeling Kido through his limbs.
-Powerful Reiatsu despite his relatively average pool of spiritual energy. This means that he may deal powerful blows if he decides to fight a full power, but only for short periods of time or he will run out of energy. However, this is sometimes offset by his Shikai's ability to convert Reiryoku infused Reishi into his own spiritual energy.

-Cyanide pill located in his 2nd, left molar of the upper jaw.
-Reiatsu dampening bodysuit fitted for Shunko use. It erases his spiritual presence completely and muddles what his opponents may decipher of his Reiryoku flow in when fighting.

They will fall, new ones will take its place, allegiance will shift. Only those working behind the scenes are far enough to see and assess the big picture and make enlightened decisions.
