Vaseline Man walks out from the back, his heroic theme blasting over the PAs. He has a jar of Vaseline in his hands and his mask is the only part of his face not red with anger. Vaseline Man slides into the ring and is given a microphone, ready to tell the fans of BBW what's going on.
"LISTEN HERE! I am tired of this so called man of truth bring shame to everyone of these fans! I am tired of a so called gallant character trying to hurt all the men, women, and children that are here today or backstage in that locker room. I am telling you here and now, that you're out of your element 'The' Gallant!"
Vaseline Man opens the Vaseline and dips two fingers in, scooping out some of the Vaseline and wiping it off under his eyes on either side of his face.
"Gallant! Get your war paint on. Because at Spring in the Ring, I'm taking you on in a Vaseline Rules match! Two men come into the match, covered in Vaseline, one man leaves the match, still covered in Vaseline. But the other man Gallant. The other man is buried six feet under. Six feet under Vaseline."

Lucid Truth, the Blackmill song of The Gallant begins to play over the PA. The lights then suddenly go out as the song continues to play. The fans are stuck in awe, curious as to what is happening, anything could be going on right now and nobody would know because it is pitch black. The shivers of the many of people there filled the arena to brim of suspense and fright. Curiosity and fear. Even backstage, people were wondering what was happening down at the main stage.
Then, just as suddenly as the lights went off, they come back on. Only this time, the ring is surrounded by many people, all relatively the same height, and all dressed as The Gallant. The circled the ring. Any of them could have been The Gallant, none of them might have been The Gallant. Only The Gallant knew. The army of The Gallant jumped onto the apron and watched Vaseline Man.

Vaseline Man had been admittedly shocked by the lights going out. Then as the lights went on, he saw The Gallant Army staring him down. Spinning around to catch all of them, he knew he had to think fast. The Gallants jumped onto the apron and suddenly it was fight or flight. Even though he was a hero, flight was never an option so Vaseline Man knew he had to bring it to The Gallants.
Running at the first one he could find, Vaseline Man would look to knock some off the apron before the rest could jump in. He ran over and went to diving forearms on the many people scattering the apron.

Vaseline knocked a few of The Gallants off the apron but the rest soon flooded the ring, all looking to take down and beat down the Vaseline-clad superhero. The many Gallants looked to throw punches and forearms and kicks to pummel the hero. Even The Gallants who were previously knocked off looked to get into the action.

The numbers game was simply too much for Vaseline Man to handle as he was soon taken down to the mat and forced to take a beating unlike anything he'd ever received, save the beating The Gallant had previously given him. Vaseline Man was laid out across the mat still getting kicked and punched by the several Gallants.

The lights go out as the beat down is finished and then suddenly come back. Only one Gallant remained in the ring with Vaseline Man and he had a microphone in hand. He lifts the head of Vaseline Man up and gently whispers into his ear, "Challenge accepted." Following that, the lights go out one last time and no one is left in the ring.
