The park (and no, not that park that was a beacon for all things power-related) was as good a place as any to get down and dirty with a certain Mars knight, Ashur thought as he swung boredly from the monkey bars. He was a lot taller now so he had to bend his knees so he was actually hanging, but it was a semi-fun way to kill the time while he waited for his sparring partner to arrive. Maybe she was going for fashionably late? Not that he had any idea what time it was; he's gotten there just after dusk, so maybe he was just early.
His face was blank but his mind was rehashing what happened at Olympus and what all went down. He would have asked someone for more of an explanation (because, hey, he hadn't really paid all that much attention...), but before he could get a word in edgewise he was already back to falling, and eventually landing, into a dumpster. The rest of the night was spent in the shower scrubbing his skin raw, and he'd yet to contact anyone for any answers since.
"Which is stupid, 'cause I've got a few in-the-know knights on speed dial," he grumbled to himself as he adjusted his hands on the monkey bars. "But seriously. What the hell was that Code thing going on about, anyway?"

Truth be told, the Martian Page in question didn't even know if she was fashionably late or just plain late. Her heeled sandals barely made a sound across the grass as she jogged towards the other energy signature, body relaxed as the familiar sense of Order met her senses. Even if it wasn't her intended sparring buddy, she didn't have a reason to be nervous.
Her mind was comfortably abuzz over the recent developments. She had a few reasons to be proud of her planet, it seemed. Olympus was... a fascinating feature to her. Was it that Olympus? The same one she'd see from her dear city? She hadn't had the time to really look around, see if she could see the city from the Colosseum.
But the Code had been.... very interesting to her. Balance. Order and Chaos. It both supported negotiations with and the killing of Chaos agents. A fact that both disturbed and fascinated her.
As she drew further into the park, and could see a figure attempting to hang among the monkey bars, she slowed. A grin spread across her face. The tail end of the youth's words hit her and she laughed outright. "About bringing balance back to this ******** up universe. And we get to pick our own methods," she chirped cheerfully, drawing closer to him. She eyed his position with a smirk. "How's it hanging?"
The pun was a requirement.

He didn't even notice that another signature was finally on the map nearby him; his brain was a little too busy balancing hanging on the bars and trying to figure out what the Code had been going on about. When he heard a laugh he turned his head just enough to see the familiar Martian, clad in her knightly garb, answer his meant-to-be-rhetoric question. And he smiled before swinging an arm to the next bar so he could adjust and face her properly. "That right?" he asked, brow quirked as it usually was.
He really should have been paying attention, and he knew it. The thought repeated itself numerous times depending on the length of time he decided to sit and try to recall what happened at Olympus. Whenever he drew a blank it would surface briefly, then he'd try again and it'd come back when he drew another blank. Lather, rinse, repeat.
The pun got a chuckle out of the Uranus Page, and he finally swung off the bars and landed rather gracefully nearby Themiscyra, shrugging slightly before he dusted off his hands. "Could be worse. Hazard a guess what happened to me after that damned Code dismissed us from Olympus?" He took a few steps toward his fellow knight and moved to hug her in greeting, though he wasn't sure how she'd feel about that if she'd manage to guess right.Kaefaux I did~ : P In retaliation, please do enjoy my half-asleep replies. 8D

"What, were you asleep during it or something?" She meant the line as a tease, but her brow arched as she eyed him. Themiscyra herself had gone over to the scroll pretty fast, and she was aware she hadn't seen Ashur over in the same area. But then, there had been quite a few knights around. She'd assumed he'd been paying attention. Too much to expect?
Watching him, she couldn't keep from smiling, amused to see him playing on the playscape like that. Bored? Pullups? When he swung off to land near her, she didn't flinch, hands resting easily on her hips as her gaze turned critical. Happened after..? "I know I landed pretty hard on the rooftop I'd been in mid-jump towards when the Code first pulled me away, but nothing major." She continued to give him a judgmental eye as he drew over to give her a hug, letting both her arms wrap around his middle for a quick, friendly squeeze. Before she paused with her arms around him, and tipped her head to look down at him. It was only an inch. But it was still enough. "Wait. Did you fall off a building?"
She swore, she was trying not to laugh. But the mirth was dancing in her eyes and her lips were having a hard time staying pressed together. She'd first met him when he was hanging off a building. Had the Code caught him in another unfortunate situation?

The Page shook his head, a slight look of "I can't believe you'd think I'd actually fall asleep during something like that" on his face. "No," came the retort, though he couldn't exactly back it up with any evidence to prove that he didn't. When everyone huddled around the Code he was near the back, among the few that decided to lounge and only half-listen to whatever the Code was going on about. And he figured he was also among those that regretted not paying attention. "Just...missed some stuff, that's all."
Ashur listened to her own aftermath situation with an amused grin, and the picture of a near-stumbling Themiscyra got a laugh out of him as he pulled her into that hug. The close proximity and the way she leaned back and (literally) looked down at him was an annoying reminder that she had a slight height advantage at the moment, and a glance down had him narrow his eyes at her heels. Her guess pulled his attention back, though, and he snorted.
"To be fair, I was already falling when I got summoned," he admitted, unabashed. It wasn't so odd a happening anymore, especially considering he wasn't exactly paying attention half the time he was on patrol anyway. And yeah, he knew ought to take this knight stuff more seriously, which was why he was out there with her to begin with. The amusement in her eyes and the fact that just looked like she was fighting down a laugh made him sigh -- and no, he hadn't noticed that they still had their arms around each other -- and wave a hand.
"Yeah, well you've almost got it. Keep going..."

A dark brow rose, skepticism mixing with mirth. "Just how much is 'some stuff'?" She was potentially beating a dead horse, but the contrast between their apparent actions at that meeting was hilarious to her. She made a note that she'd just have to start physically dragging Ashur around at any future occurrences, if only to make sure he got the whole story as it unfolded. Sitting in the back was so... boring. Passive. Bah.
Ashur glancing--and glaring--down at her heels had Themiscyra's expression turning rather smug. Tall girls could wear heels. He'd just have to hope genetics would cut him a break. She resisted the urge to say anything at least. Though she did switch from having her arms around him to resting one on his shoulder in popular tall person to short person fashion. It wasn't the most comfortable thing since it was only an inch difference, but she'd take it.
His statement made her blink though. "From where?" The second word was drawn out, brow raising again as she eyed him. Oh great. Code didn't snatch him from hanging to a building. Snatched him from mid-air, too. Themiscyra gave him a worried look, glancing down his figure. She didn't see any broken bones. "Gimme a hint then? What? Land in a pool?" That'd kinda suck, given the nights were still on the cooler side.
Which was one of the reasons she was so up for some sparring that evening. Good way to keep warm--and given her attire, it was a nice thing to have. The thought gave her a burst of anxious energy, shifting a little on her feet. It was going to be fun to do some rough housing. All for training. Yep. Training. "I don't need to watch where I hit, right?" She nudged at his chest with her open palm, taking a few steps back as she catch her tongue between her teeth.

If his head were on a bit straighter he likely would have paid more attention. It wasn't as though he enjoyed the sidelines at all, granted he realized that doing so kind of made his life a lot easier. But yes, it was pretty boring and passive and not something he'd do were he feeling at all like his usual, 100% every-curious self. "Just some," he said with a slight wave of his hand in an effort to dismiss the subject. They'd established that he missed enough, so that was all that he really needed to say, right?
Her position, at least, brought his attention to the fact that she was taller than him again in her heels. Those damned heels..
But her question pulled him away from making any attempt at jabbing at the fact that, on a flat surface without heels he'd stand only slightly taller than her. It was his turn to blink for a second, to hopefully let her process it a bit more lest he admit it himself. When she gave the pool comment he sighed and shrugged. "Aw, c'mon. I was dry when I got there; Mars is hot but it wouldn't have dried me off that quickly." The Page paused in thought for a moment, then said, "'Kay, so here's a hint: I would've had to send this thing to the cleaners if it didn't magic itself clean whenever I power down." That ought to have been a dead giveaway, he thought as he felt her shift her weight beside him.
She was still leaning on him like he was some kind of arm rest.
But, again, her question and a quick nudge at him chest kept him from focusing on being situationally shorter than her, and he felt a small smile spread across his face as she displayed that signature expression -- for him, a signature look. "When have you ever?" came his retort. They were here to train, he remembered then, and took a few steps back as well.
