The setting is the guild. The way I've been following it is to consider the guild as a building. Each “thread” is a location inside the building. We are all locked in due to an emergency security lockdown to keep these grunnies from attacking the rest of Gaia We’ll just ignore how many Loyal sent out this Easter in his grab bags >.>. As soon as the security system was set, a grunny chewed through some power wires, putting the guild in a total blackout, and locking the security measures in place.

Now not all the threads are actively involved quite yet. Here’s a list of what threads are active in the rp so far:

Safe Haven – This is currently the only safe place in the headquarters. It is barricaded from the inside with food, water, and supplies. Feel free to find the place, but you need to knock before they let you in so they can make sure you’re not bitten.

Chitter Chatter – Highly active!!! Think of this thread as the common area of the guild. The kitchen is here, as are the grunnies. Lots of grunnies. It’s pretty much a mess, so don’t come in here if you are feint of heart, or left your chainsaw and armor at home.

[Slumber Party]-Grunnies AND Grombies! There may also be a Grombie!Caedere in here. Proceed with extreme caution!

A Prince Gives His Thanks – The Rose Prince’s room, and where the security system is located. This is also where the power was shorted out. Grunnies are in here. Proceed with caution!

X’s starlit cove – This is Anon X’s room. Currently it has become overrun with Grunnies

The Basement – Caedere’s basement. Where the grunnies originally came from. They’re actually pretty cleared out now, but there’s still some here.

By the Window – The Sweet Freak’s room. Currently Sweet Freak is locked inside. She may or may not be infected, and has a grunny inside with her. Proceed with caution.

It started here in the Basement.

Summary:
It’s grunny breeding season and a pair found it’s way into the basement. Well, grunnies do what grunnies do best, and soon there’s a large litter forming down there. The grunnies and hungry, and start gnawing on Caedere’s collection. Rose Prince and Minty Andee soon discover the multitude of mutated rabbits. They flee, Prince locking the door behind them with the intention of dealing with the fiasco later, not realizing Cree had fallen asleep down there, and was now locked in with a bunch of starving baby grunnies.

A few days later, Caedere comes back to her basement, not knowing what’s inside, and confused why her door is locked. But it is her basement, and she has a key. When she opens the door, the grunny babies are hungry, and bolt after her as a new meal. Caedere flees, not having time to close the door. The grunnies escape into HQ! And behind them, the first guild grombie victim: Cree.

A few spectators see this happen, including the little witchling (Laetan) who finds herself a cute little golden grunny, which she claims as her own and names “Leppy”

Day 1:

After the grunnies poured out of Cae's basement, they went to the most populated place in the guild, the Chatter Thread. At 6:14 am on the 22nd, the invasion had begun. Monster was the first to notice and ran off with Volt in tow, and Minty had a close-call with a grunny, which Master quickly disposed of for her in the most Michael Bay of fashions. Arron came in, but quickly left, Master and Lady Luck had to cancel their game of Truth or Dare game, Eurydice Evyn burst in with a flamethrower that... didn't really throw flames, and other miscellaneous guild members became worried at the plethora of grunnies, yet did not leave yet and the thread continued on somewhat normally... Until a grombified Cree entered the room and began to attack. Dr. Sciurus entered the scene, as did Rose Prince, who suggested everyone move to the slumber party thread, after taking Stanley (Cree's body-less brother) with him for safe keeping until Cree could be cured.

However, in the slumber party thread, an unidentified grombie who came from Cae's Basement had wound up there, and began to attack Volt and Lady Evangeline. Rose Prince, Master, Lady Luck and Laetan all arrive to see the scene unfold, and the ladies manage to overpower the grombie, and Laetan quickly flees at the opportunity.

Rose Prince ran off to create the safe haven, a highly barricaded room in an unused part of the guild, and by the end of the first day the following people were in the safe room: Rose Prince, Master, Lady Luck, Laetan, Twilight Cat, Freaque of Nature, Gypsy_Kt, Paper Friend, and the Lythcol Mechanic. Inside they were safe to make plans and try to figure out how to cure their grombie friends.

Volt and Evangeline meanwhile fended for themselves in the Slumber Party thread, with Charming eventually coming to their aid.

In the chatter thread, Monster had fallen behind and managed to get bitten, and tasked Minty with the charge of getting a final letter to Evangeline before he turned into a grombie.

Day 2:

As more people made their way to the safe haven, it was becoming increasingly important that the group get to the kitchen and procure a food source for the survivors. At the same time, they needed to protect Gaia from the grunnies inside the guild that could easily pour out and create a global catastrophe, to two teams were formed: Master and Lady Luck were to go to the kitchen and snag the fridge and other supplies, and Rose Prince and Arron were to get to Prince's thread and activate the guild's security system.

Meanwhile, Caedere got herself bitten, and knowing her time was limited, went to her basement to find her favorite knife and go on a killing spree while she still had the mental function to enjoy it. The Sweet Freak also had a run-in with a white grunny, and fled her room in search of others to help her.

Master and Lady Luck manage to find the kitchen, but the now grombified Monster was lurking within. They created a plan to have Master distract the werehog while Lady Luck used her special cards to safely store the fridge and other supplies to be hauled back to the safe house.

Arron and Prince made their way to Prince's room and successfully locked down the guild, making sure the grunnies can't escape into Gaia, though also locking all the guild members in as well. But unbeknownst to them, a grunny had made its way into the walls and had been chewing on the main power line and then...

Darkness.

Day 2 (continued):

At 4:33 pm on the 23rd, the guild was plunged into darkness as the power went out. With no way to currently fix the problem, Arron and Prince head back to the safe zone.

Master and Lady Luck, on the other hand, now needed to deal with their grombie friend in the dark, but through their teamwork were able to grab the fridge and some other supplies, with Lady Luck having to trap Monster in a cage to make a safe getaway. Sweet Freak burst into the kitchen in the middle of the fight, her mask and the darkness combined making her unable to distinguish friend from foe and mistakenly believed Monster to be alive. Master quickly hauled her off and Freak fainted from her prior injuries in his arms. It looked like they would be able to set back to the safe haven... Until a now grombified Cae showed up and pursued the other anons. Thankfully the group outran her and they bring the much-needed supplies back to the safe haven.

Meanwhile, inside the safe haven, Prince and Arron returned, and more people took up refuge in the room, including: Batty, COLONO5COPY, CaiteeByrd, Xashowd (who uses his wind powers to get in and help aid the guild in this crisis), Eurydice Evyn and Qwirkz. Laetan's grunny Leppy, which everyone assumed had been docile, suddenly vanished without a trace, causing panic in the safe haven and sparking debate on what to do with the creature upon its capture. Rose Prince also left the safety of the room to go search for his love, Minty.

Meanwhile meanwhile, the Minty in question made her way to the Slumber Party, where she found Volt, Evangeline, and Charming continuing to fight off the grombie, though now in the dark. Minty proceeded to take out a blue paper lantern to light the dark with and make sure the group was unharmed.

Meanwhile meanwhile meanwhile, Misa and Toby had been holed up in Misa's bedroom, planning a way to get desperately needed supplies in the dead of night.

Day 3:

In the chatter thread, Monster spent the entire day in the cage... It was boring.

In the slumber party thread, The Green Gentleman, being a zombie already, had found himself wandering around unimpeded by the grunnies, while Dr. Sriurus had found his trusty van Voyager in the garage, and thought it a good idea (don't ask me how the minds of mad doctors work) to drive the thing around the guild like an armored anti-grunny tank. Minty also finally delivered Monster's letter to Evangeline, which did not do much to console his girlfriend's broken heart. The sound of Evangeline crying drew Rose Prince to the slumber party, where he found everyone safe... and then grombie Cae attacked Rose Prince, both stabbing AND biting the royal. Minty, in a fit of rage, beat Cae off him in the most vicious of pillow fights, and went to Prince's side to have a small moment of intimacy before Prince wandered off to transform away from the others. Dr. Scriurus drove in and began to scoop up and rescue the slumber party group, and as they try to figure out where they'll be heading, Cae returns to her feet and attempts to attack them. Voyager speeds off and they all agree to begin the drive to Arron's workshop in an attempt to find the mechanic and make a cure...

Meanwhile in the safe haven, talk of a cure was well underway, as people attempted to find Leppy the Grunny, wondering if they should use the creature as an ingredient for a cure Arron had the means of creating with his advanced technology, or simply kill the threat and be done with it. The refugees attempted to leave out food to lure the grunny out. Daenes, the soul-collecting elf, had been fending for herself inside the guild and briefly dropped by the safe haven to see if Gypsy was okay, though strife between her and Xashowd arose. But, a lucky break! Through the combined efforts of Laetan, Xashowd and Lady Luck, the grunny was captured, and Arron successfully extracted a sample from Leppy to create a cure. Seeing Arron's work done, Daenes somehow boiled the grunny's blood, giving it a painful death inside the cage and quickly left, much to everyone's dismay. Xashowd followed the elf for a while but eventually she left with Spice.

With a cure created, Arron went off to the chatter thread and shot Monster with the cure, and within minutes the werehog was back to himself. Arron then handed him the dart gun full of the antidote and tasked Monster with shooting anyone who was turned before retuning to the safe haven, giving a second shot of the antidote to a sleeping Sweet Freak who was showing the beginning signs of grombification. Thinking his work done, Arron left the guild, and hope was renewed that this nightmare might soon be over. But everyone was unaware of the true nature of the serum...

The following people fond refuge in the safe haven on day three: RedBloodSaya8, Lilja the Ghost (do ghosts need refuge?), 1littlewolfy, Nyx Avalon, Frightened Mermaid Anon, The Artist Anon, Velvet Noir Anon (ish?), and The Anon X

At 10:34 pm on the 24th, Monster was the first grombie to be cured, and with the assumed antidote strapped to his back in dart form he headed off to find the others.

Day 4:

Very early morning in the chatter thread, the now grombified Rose Prince lurked while Misa and Toby began their great escape.

In the safe haven thread, Sweet Freak was only getting worse, and fearing for her friends she ran off and locked herself away in her room, where she began to go mad as she slowly transformed into a grombie. A concerned Lady Luck ran after her, but ended up in the kitchen instead, fighting off grunnies. Xashowd also spent some time creating a safe closet area he can warp to, as well as bringing orbs to the group that can light the area for a period of time if magic is channeled into them.

Meanwhile in the slumber party thread, the group continued to drive on, on their way to Arron's workshop, unaware of the mechanic's true location. Monster... "Found" the vehicle, and after nearly being run over and almost not let in due to his former grombie-ness, both he and Green Gentleman were let into the van. A touching reunion with Monster and Lady Evangeline occurred, with the werehog proposing to the lady, who happily accepted. The entire van was filled with joy for the newlyweds, and after Monster informed them of the cure, they set off instead for the kitchen to get food and supplies.

Upon driving to the chatter thread, the group was confronted by the sheer amount of grunnies, and grombie Rose Prince nearly became road kill, but was saved by Lady Luck's quick thinking. Minty, recognizing the Prince, took the cure gun and rushed out of the van, shooting at Prince and Lady Luck as they wrestled on the kitchen floor. Both darts met their marks, but after waiting for the cure to take effect and nothing happening, Volt fired on Prince, knocking him out, and the combined force of Minty and Lady Luck trapped Prince in the cage from before, leaving the group baffled as to why it didn't work. Monster realized that the cure must only work on animals due to the grunny blood used for the cure, so Dr. Scriurus took a blood sample from Prince in the hopes of making a true cure. The group loaded up Prince into the back of the van and headed for the safe haven, where they intended to use the cure on Prince once it was finally created.

The following people made it to the safe haven: The slumber party group (Monster, Minty, Evangeline, Dr. Scriurus, Green Gentleman, Volt, and Charming) and kefkadragon

Day 5:

Now the anons and fans are mostly all gathered in the safe haven, with Minty watching Prince outside the safe haven doors, but sitting on top of the cage, just in case of an escape...

Quick recap:

- While at the safe haven, everything starts out somewhat peaceful, Daenes finds The Sweet Freak locked away in her room. She escapes, and finds her way to the Safe Haven with Caedere not far behind.

- The two grombies get into the safe room. While the others try to contain the grombies, Batty creates a new cure that works on humans. The commotion makes The Green Gentleman lose control.

- Eventually, Caedere is given the cure, which as a side effect, gives her kitty ears and a tail. The Sweet Freak is locked in the cage with grombie Prince. The Green Gentleman is moved to Batty's forest home, and is calmed into sleep.

- The Sweet Freaks white grunny gets lose in the Safe Haven, but it is quickly taken care of my Xashowd.

- Lady Luck, having slept through all this, wakes up at the tail end. She and Minty venture out to get the power fixed, racing against time to get into the basement to turn off the main power before Xashowd vacuum seals it to kill the grunnies inside. From there, they venture to Rose Prince's room, where the grunny chewed through the wires initially. Minty locates the problem and fixes it, before the pair return to the basement, finding that in the time it took them to go to Prince's room and return, Xashowd had killed and removed all the grunnies from the basement. The basement is now grunny free!

- The moment of truth and Minty turns back on the main power. Success! The guild's power is back on!

- They return to the Safe Haven, but before they enter, Minty gives the cure to Rose Prince. It works. Prince is human again! After a touching reunion, the pair enter the Safe Haven.
