This is a summary of the past RP events we've had.
The first settlement in Zatao was the city of Inhinx, located in the snowy northern region of the continent.
Shortly after, humans set foot onto the southeastern region of Zatao and built the port town of Katarina.
It seemed that the settlement of the new region was progressing at a good speed...until a caravan of trainers were
sent to investigate the lack of communication from the citizens of Inhinx. They found a horrible sight; an abandoned
city that had been overrun by a pack of resentful Pokemon. Inhinx had been the site of a lucrative diamond mine,
and the Pokemon were exploited to help mine the valuable jewels. Eventually, their treatment had grown so inhumane
that the Pokemon revolted and Inhinx was no more.
Shortly after the discovery, trainers continued to push for expansion and built the city of Motterosa to the northwest of
Katarina. It was ignored for several years until news of an Eevee swarm attracted new settlers. Unfortunately,
it was simply a ploy from Team Rocket who had used the city as a base of operations. The trainers were able to
force the Rockets out of the city, but not without much destruction to the surrounding land. Team Rocket escaped,
and escaped with a bang.
Team Rocket seems to have been gaining several bases of operations in Zatao, as they were sighted earlier in
an abandoned mine located in the northwest region of Katarina. Trainers had been sent to explore it and had not only
found members of Team Rocket, but also a Mew lurking deep in the mines.
There was a thick mist that enveloped the Zatao region in minutes and effectively cut off all communication
with the region. Those who tried to enter the mist found themselves in the dream world and caught within Jirachi's
wish. Their memories started fading, as well as the world they knew along with it. Through some freak storm,
they found themselves in Jirachi's mansion, where they had to seek out the wishmaker to set things right. The trainers
realized in the end that the mansion was an illusion, set up by a Zorua who wished to protect Jirachi.
Advertisements of a free cruise to Felicity Island, reached many in Zatao. It was just a few day's travel time off the
coast of Katarina, so trainers and grunts alike took this opportunity to relax and enjoy a nice summer vacation.
Those that dropped off their Pokemon at the Daycare Center on the ship found themselves with an extra mouth
to feed, thanks to a careless caretaker. While on safari on the island, the group intruded on bidoof territory, and
was chased by an angry mob of them. When they were starting to think they were going to be trampled to death,
the ground beneath them broke, and they landed in an old underground temple. The whole island is a breeding
ground for bidoofs, and the group fight their way out, even encountering guards and the king.
