 ______________________________ X X X X XPrologueX X X X XTwo hundred years ago, before our people existed, the country of Enubell was like everything else before humans come and inhabit: Wild. It was such a place when Ray Enubell--our first king--found it searching to expand his kingdom with two thousand soldiers in toe, leaving his Queen and sons in charge. During his hunt to find a place to build his castle, he came across a large lake with an island in the center. When he sailed across, he found a large island, two miles wide. It's size and location were ideal for a king and queen to rule in privacy and safety. And thus the King decided to make the island his home, the countryside his domain. When the King departed, he did not return until six months later.
The majority of the time our King spent returning was put into establishing roads to connect his old and new kingdoms: New Enubell and Old Enubell. These roads were called, the Main King's Road. To reach around the entire kingdom, the main road branches three times, and these are called Alexander, Johnson, and Rose, after his two sons and only daughter. Once the roads were open, workers from all over were recruited to help on the many tasks, such as: building more roads, building houses, or helping our King to build his castle on the island.
In three to four years the roads were completed. Several small communities had been created during this time, but the castle still had a ways to go. It took the castle at least three more years until it was finished. It had been estimated by the king and his people, that if it hadn't been for the Guild community from Old Enubell, the roads and castle would have taken much longer to complete.
After the old King died, his second oldest son, Johnson Ray Enubell II, became King of New Enubell. He created new towns and cities and assisted several Guilds--big and small--in setting up in the new addition to the kingdom. He had five children, Kyle, Nicholas, Fredrick, Rebecca, and Sharon. When Johnson II passed at sixty, Kyle Johnson Enubell III became King. By this generation New Enubell is a living thriving land, with cities, towns and villages, just like it's brother Old Enubell.
When Kyle III died peacefully in his sleep, he passed New Enubell onto his eldest son. It was in this generation, that something happened. Something we couldn't explain. Before any of us knew what was going on all communication between us and the island ceased. In one fell swoop all life from the island stopped coming, and not just the King and Queen; the princes and princess; the maids and servants, the soldiers; even a couple of our generals stopped making contact outside the island. It was as if some force swallowed them up without a sound or peep.
Danger almost immediately followed. We still had neighboring kingdoms who saw the silence coming from Enubell, kingdoms who would gladly take it for their own. To add to the trouble, two kingdoms were two much for just one king, the King of Old Enubell. People started to get desperate when, a powerful voice came from one of the Guilds, the strongest and most powerful of the Guild Community.
Think of the Guilds as royalty, only one can be King. This such voice came from a guild that was king in it's community. Sven Lynton Xander was the Guild Leader. He proposed to be the substitute for the King of New Enubell until the King could be found. He had resources, power, and respect throughout the land. Without many option, and with trust in the Guild leader, the King of Old Enubell accepted.
And things improved. The other kingdoms held back their armies, and the people resumed their daily lives, knowing the situation was under control. There was a drawback, however. All the men he sent on the island never came back. They vanished like everybody else. A month ran by. Getting annoyed, and running out of options, Sven took up a handful of picked men, and went to the island, leaving his infant son behind. Like everybody else on the island, he never came back. His right hand and best friend became leader of the guild. Since then he refused to send any more people on the island.
That was twenty-five years ago. The guild leader position had been promised to Sven's baby because he was too young to take it back then, but now is a different story. Filled with rage, he vowed to find the people on the island and kill the thing responsible, calling for able-bodied warriors everywhere to help.

It's been five days since the new leader vowed vengeance. Determined, he traveled to the city that exists on the lake overlooking the island: Setha Azlasda. It was named after a Goddess, The Mistress of the Lake, who blessed the water during the time of the Chaos Reign to protect her people, whose descendants still live on the soil their founding fathers used to call home. It is said the great Goddess used to live here in the waters, and still does.
The moment he entered the city, the new leader put up flyers on all guild leader boards and flyers all over the city. He was even sending these flyers into other towns, each had the same message. He was asking for warriors, mages, scholars, anybody with any type of skill to come with him across to the island.
Today is the day the ship takes the warriors across to the island...
Deeper into the island, the very forest turns crimson, like blood.
