Through the sprawling streets, its common to see towering Gothic buildings and large gates sectioning off some of the larger areas and courtyards placed around the city. The streets are all lined with dull brick roads and paths, they have high standing, dull lamps. A common sight is townspeople with wheelbarrows and carts, delivering and trading goods before reaching the Tradesman's Courtyard. Many homes, Inns and other buildings can be found around the streets here, butchers, wineries and so on.

Nyru Statem From shadows We'll descend upon the world Take back what you stole From shadows
So, the tide of events that unfurled to release a monster upon the Land of Crows was the Daywalkers' most dire battle in centuries, outsiders, like Rur-Adika had even come to their aid in their time of hopelessness. Claudia and Nyru have proved themselves to be some of the Queen's most loyal guards, yet there seems to be a small divide between the two of them since they defeated Dracula, much to the thanks of Adi. Now, the City of Crows, a fabled land was rebuilding not only it's blood-bathed streets, but its moral after having it's own kind turn against them, and an outsider influence the minds of those that followed Dracula. The cursed vampiric armours have been locked away, and all their remains burned, yet now the danger of Vampires still surviving is at large... But who released them? Facts are clouded by shadows, and truth is hidden behind lies - yet now it would seem that the Occult and the City of Crows has an agreement, and a debt to pay. Southmarch awaits for the adventurers to reclaim their land, untouched, not breathed within for centuries itself.
Nyru could smell the raw emptiness of the city just by standing outside its giant gates, it was breathtaking and made him feel miniscule. Once, he thought, the great City of Crows looked enormous, with spires and walls so high it would take no ordinary person to jump even half way up the wall with all their might. But Southmarch, a city he had never come to, rumours saying it was cursed by their own heritage, was must grander. It was early in the morning, yet it was still dark in Therias, the region once home to the Therians, it wasn't as murky as the City of Crows however, it seemed... cooler, but just as wet. Isabelle and her small group of Occult members stood beside Nyru, Claudia and Adi. She too was overwhelmed by the sheer size of the city's main gates, they stood twice as high as that of the City of Crows, they were just as wide, but across the front a great iron wolf's head gnarled it's iron jaws at whomsoever would dare break it down. No wonder it had never been taken, it was perhaps the most difficult place to get into, and thats without anyone defending it - or maybe it was the history that surrounded it protecting the brick and iron that forged it. She whistled and said "And how are we meant to get inside?". Nyru was at a stub, "I do-" "I can get in" Charles admitted, stepping forth from his army of Therians behind him, "I - haven't been completely honest with you." he added, looking half ashamed, half proud. Isabelle gawked, unsure of what he meant, but then over his head a glimmer of dull light grew and like a disease it spread around his hair. To Nyru's disbelief, a golden crown, layered and dull with age, with diamond shaped gold plates, was revealed. Taking it from his head he said "I'm prince and heir to the throne of Southmarch, my father is Darwik the third and he rules Ardinas City of the Isles of Zurakkis in Otherearth. This crown is the key"
Isabelle was unsure what to say, if only she had told her parents before they returned to Absóluté that she was chatting up a prince! Nyru swallowed and had to resist the natural reflect to bow to royalty. " would you?" Nyru asked, gesturing to the grand entrance to the city being as polite as possible. Charles nodded, and with the crown before him he stood before the gates, and almost naturally all the Therians got down on one knee in respect to their city. Soon, their families will have a place to live, and they will no longer have to worry about fending off the Verdant forces of Otherearth, something only briefly explained to anyone who's been with them for the recent days. "My name is Charles the first of our King's blood, Zurrakkis runs through my veins and my life is his to decide and for his to protect. "Charles began, sounding as though to be reciting ancient texts, Nyru gathered it must have been homage to their king. Charles continued with "With thy blood within me, King of Gold, accept our return and lift our seal". There was silence, and all Nyru could feel was the cold breeze brushing through the countless dead trees surrounding them, even teh ground was a little squelchy beneath his feet. But then something happened, there was a great clink from within that iron wolf's head, he was almost nervous enough at that point to wonder if it would come to life and attempt eating them all. But instead the jaws closed and as soon as the teeth met from bottom to top the eyes glowed blue, and like glass, magic shattered around the doors, crackling like thunder roaring out as the seal was broken. They were in. Slowly, but surely, the doors opened and their first look into the city was available to them, but what could have been a majestic return looked more like stepping into a fallout zone. Every building along the large street leading within was overgrown, dank, wet, broken with disuse. The distance was foggy, and vines crawled along the paved floor, lamps stood and hung by all paths but were out like a dead candle. Various objects and bricks were tossed, broken and left across the street and in the distance un-distinguishable remains could be spotted. When the doors stopped, several gasps could be heard from the Therians, this was history to them, and Nyru alone felt almost overwhelmed to be uncovering such a place. Charles then began to lead the way through the gigantic archway.
And Nyru didn't want to mention it, but all he felt when walking inside was an awful sense of loss and death like non other. A feeling of emptiness within him made him feel uncomfortable, and quickly he came to distrust the city.
((Okay, here it is, sorry it's HUGE, but as you can tell i've gone a little fanboy over this place xD ))

Returning to the land of the wolves was a much easier ride then the other two times they had been here. Relaxed and casual it was more of a trip since they didn't really have a mission that counted on time as a factor. Adi herself spent more of this trip deep in thought about the Prince of Crows and his magic...along with that of Zuriel's. They had many conversations, some mental, some getting the gypsy so riled that she started talking aloud. She would rather not receive too many odd looks or stares from the wolves or the few Occult members that still remained.
Adi still received looks however even with all her effort to be alone when talking with the Angel inside her mind and soul.
One of them many conversations circled around the Prince, and particularly around the mark that she had had before he removed it. However, much to her horror since that meeting and over the trip to Southmarch, the mark started returning. The questions around that were enormous and there were no answers to be had. Adi herself attempted to not appear distracted or otherwise tense and thus far no one had said anything much to her relief to this point.
It was when Charles started speaking up about being able to open the gates, that Adi returned to the present and away from her thoughts and questions. Looking up, the gypsy found that they were there and learning that Charles was a prince to this land, his father a ruler. She smirked rather enjoying the surprise and the shock on Isabelle's face was amusing.
Atop Crox, riding comfortably with all her things, Adi looked further into the city as the gates opened. An odd feeling setting over her but she shrugged it off and looked over the city that hadn't been inhabited for some time from what she had learned gradually. Nudging her horse into a gentle slow walk, she followed after Charles.
"Do we call you Prince Charles and Highness now," she said with a playful but cheeky grin on her freckled face. Adi meant no disrespect however as she was being friendly to an alley. "I'll need to know how to greet you if I ever returned to your land with a gypsy caravan...since your people seemed to enjoy my performance, a full caravan would a be a true event."

Claudia Vesslia Claudia evaded any contact with Nyru because after the farce she pulled last night, she didn't feel like the pinnacle of loyalty and friendship. However, the queen saw fit to grace the guard with a alluring green dress and armor materialized from Zirconium. The metal's weight is reduced immensely. Also if she were to fall into water, the armor would be transformed into a floating device. A neat feature, but exactly not the most useful given the scenario that she could be under repressive fire. Either way, she thanked Declasia for her generosity, and afterwards, assured the lavender skinned immortal that her vital information would be kept classified. Her blonde hair was snugly tied into a French braid and she lined up with Occult members. She maneuvered herself to the far right while Nyru occupied the felt to maintain a symmetrical pyramid. When Charles advanced forward his race followed religiously while the rest of them would be used as back up support if necessary. Southmark was miles away, but it didn't compare to the voyage made from the village they resided in, to the Land of Crows. The gravel scrapped at her toes by the second day on that journey and she bit her tongue in order to not lash out on anyone.
The army halted at the towering gates with the crest of a wolf with it's jaw ajar, showing its intimating fangs. The wall circling the city ranged from twenty meters high maybe even taller if she measured manually instead of judging by eyesight. Confining the town from the most daring of intruders should have insure the Therians security, but their home was stolen from them anyway. What were they going to now if these gates were locked and no visible key is left laying around? During the battle, the werewolves used their powerful back legs to catapult themselves to the top of the wall, some clearing it, but even for them this is a risk. Especially, if one of them broke a bone that would be a fine way to return to their reclaimed land. Isabelle strutted to the three teammates' sides and whistle to grab every ones' attention. The Gothic interior dressed woman gawked at the iron bars and finally asked for a way to enter. Hopefully, they wouldn't activate a trap while doing so to make this a smooth encounter. Nyru was about to answer the almost rhetorical statement when Charles took the stage informally.
Charles wasn't just the mayor of the citizens, no, secretly he has been a prince this whole time! Isabelle should be more than impressed with her choice in men because she picked a person of genuine gold and wealth beyond comprehension. A rusted crown manifested on top of his noble brow with diamonds embedded in the gold. Overtime, the crown had lost its valuable essences, although when pure love and guidance is showered over a nation governed by a benevolent ruler, the crown will ripen again. The destitute terrain will turn green and be overrun by flowers of all colors and types. All mouths will be feed and hydrated, and the sun will happily shine down on the public's prosperity. That's the life she images these desolate ruins will become. Anyway, after his identity was revealed, the sea of Theians parted and bowed so that their king could open the gates with the "key" he inherited. It seemed like an unofficial coronation, but an event can take place for him to address the throne as his if needed.
Respectfully, Nyru procured his formalities and gestured for the prince to perform his duty when he is ready. She mimic her partners style expect lacked the dialogue in her own spectacle. Again, Charles proclaimed his authority by presenting the crown to the symbol on the gates. The gears and clogs grinding together came to life clicking and clanking through the silence territory. A breeze made itself known and the linger mist escaped the now revolving gates. The ground beneath them lost its muddy grip on their soles letting them venture on into the nothingness. As she presumed, the city was in desperate need of repairs, weeding, and repaving. The building were dilapidated and devoured by thick vines devoid of flowers. The path was uprooted and bricks were shattered beyond revival. No matter how bad the city looked, Prince Charles welcomed the land with open arms and dreams for the future.
Claudia crossed her arms reluctantly willing to go into the void but they depended on her, right? The blonde felt obligated to serve them after her killed one of their brilliant soldiers and still haven't told them that she was responsibly. When his closest allies found him they automatically blamed the vampires for his untimely demise. The archer frequently engaged her surroundings, ready for someone or something to pop out and say 'BOO!' The gypsy handled this situation well by playing coy with Charles. Her entertainment of exotic dances and jiggling garments should have the people smiling in no time.

Nyru Statem From shadows We'll descend upon the world Take back what you stole From shadows
Heading in, Charles chuckled at Adi's playful cheek and shook his head softly, "No, no, Charles is fine enough with me. Besides, i'm not the one with so much ability". Then to her last comment, he did add "Your caravan would be a wonderful event in the city, it would be great for the children especially!".
Nyru kept his eye on Claudia, though it was obvious she was avoiding getting too close to him. It was worrying him, really it was, but he didn't want to invade her space, get on her nerves or anything. The last thing most people want is someone asking you whats wrong all the time, or was that what she was waiting for? He couldn't tell. He kept nearby Isabelle as they walked deeper within the city, she was almost like a comfort to him as he felt the air get colder the further they reached. "You feel it too?" Isabelle asked, not giving Nyru another glance as she dared not to let anything jump on them from the fog. Nyru's chest pounded, his older sister saw his fear already. After a moment he nodded and admitted "it's not a good feeling here. Can you see that over there?" he mentioned, gesturing far ahead of them where many path's met. She looked onwards, and it was hard to focus at first, but she could faintly see some figures or objects strung across the ground, they didn't look like rocks, but didn't look like rubble either they were far too... round. That was her best description. "I can" she stated, then throwing her head down to an alley when she heard the wind rattle a sign hanging off the side of a building. With a sigh of relief she returned her mind to the group.
It was only a short while until they got close enough to the centre that what Nyru and Isabelle could see earlier became visible. Following the gasps of several soldiers behind and around Charles, it was much to everyone's horror to be that of... corpses. Several were lain over the ground, in the centre there were a horrific visage made of three bodies, nailed up on a post and their hands all wrapped together to together they made a triangle. Their heads had been pulled apart, exposing their minds. On all the victims that lay dead on the ground, festering with maggots, their foreheads were marked with some form of a third eye.
"What in Declasia's name" Nyru began, suddenly feeling the fear within him become exposed. Why were their dead bodies here? This place was sealed, it hadn't been touched?! What sort of horrific cult could have done this? Here he was, thinking the horror of Dracula was over, but now they had found themselves in something else entirely.
This was hellish.

Understanding a bit of Charles personality, Adi didn't think he would prefer to be addressed as 'highness' or some such. But she smiled happily at the mention of her caravan being welcome, she would have to get word to her people so that they know to visit. Plus gypsies were relatively popular with children, though some parents didn't like gypsy kind either.
Having dismounted Crox at this point, she began to lead him through the town. As they further they reached into it, the more he became unsettled and though Adi's senses dulled due to being human, Zuriel's were not. His senses were singing they were alert so much, warning of something on the air or around a corner. The city though deserted, was deathly quiet as if nature did not want to even be here, that's what Adi noticed at least.
Nyru and some of the others those notices further more then she did as she had to squint slightly to even begin to see what they did. Reaching closer they soon discovered the cruel and gruesome reality of what lay on their path; corpses, defiled and decaying corpses left to the elements. The stench of it on the air and the image of the maggots, it took all her strength to hold her earlier snack eaten on the road. Even more so to walk closer to the bodies to examine the third eye on their forehead.
Covering her nose and mouth with her bell sleeve, enjoying the smell of herbs and spice instead of decay and death, Adi strictly looked at the mark. It was oddly familiar though unable to be placed. The dark intentions and energy though even the weakest of witches would have been able to sense it. Zuriel as well was restless under her skin making Adi fidgety to say the least.
Seeing enough she stumbled away, already tasting bile on her tongue. Still she managed to hold her stomach and her wits. "...the mark, its seems familiar but I can't place it; research is probably our best bet if no one else can place it. And the dark residual energy coming from it...its as sickening as the sight is." Taking a breath through her mouth in the hopes to calm the nausea which it only seemed to slightly positive that she looked as pale as she felt. "I can probably do a ready later...see what I can find out...but not now..."
Holding onto Croix's reins it was clear the gypsy was not handling the sight well. Adi hadn't seen this level of gruesomeness ever in her life; dead animals and hunting game wasn't this horrible. Plus the fights they were in, they did not dilly-dally long enough at the scenes to process what they left behind.

Claudia Vesslia Claudia liked how modest Charles was about his position as ruler and new he would bring this land to a new era. Crossing her arm over her body and holding her and constricting her other arm gave her a sense of security. Usually, Nyru wraps a arm around her and tells her its alright, but at the moment she wasn't sure how he felt or what he was thinking. When she turned her head to glance at him he coincidentally would be facing the other way but the same could be said with her. Sighing at their non-existent conveyance, the blonde conjured up a small portion of shadows in each fist just in case. She eavesdropped on Isabelle's and Nyru's conversation and apparently Nyru was troubled by the ominous atmosphere. She had to admit that she felt the same, but didn't want to ruin the brother sister bond between them. Suddenly, deep in the fog, a silhouette rocks towered on top of one another could be depicted. That's what every one figured they were but the reality was unbearable. The smell of rotting flesh lingered over to the crowd, the werewolves catching wind of it first.
The werewolves scrounged their noses in disgust and some of them covered their mouths holding back vomit. When they neared, the silhouette became clear and the image wasn't pretty. Defiled bodies with a branded eye about their brow and maggots inching in and out of open wounds were displayed. Three men were crucified with their arms forming a pyramid and their brains exposed made her gag but she constrained herself. Nyru was in utter shock and she wanted nothing more than to stand by her partner to comfort him.
Adi analysed the marking saying it was familiar to her but couldn't remember. Obviously, the bodies were used for some kind of liturgy, the question was by who and why? Did they fled right after or stick around to see if the sacrifice payed off. Materializing a bow and arrow, the girl became super cautious of her surroundings.

Nyru Statem From shadows We'll descend upon the world Take back what you stole From shadows
Adi was the first to mention the markings on their heads, the eye that stared through them, put there by some evil cult. Isabelle was stilling holding her hand to her mouth and nose, the stench of rotting flesh was unbearable. Back in Absóluté, when they killed demons, their bodies would normally be burned immediately, or the body would vanish all together. Nyru used his helm as a defence against the smell, without twitching having the circlet around his head mould and shift into a full helmet. "She's right" Isabelle muttered under her hand, "if the scar of dark magic could kill, we'd definitely be dead". Nyru shook his head in pity for the dead people in front of him, as Adi went on, all he could think about was the poor families who are missing their mothers, fathers, sisters or brothers? These people could be anyone.
Charles took stand beside Adi when she pondered what she could possibly do, it was like she felt responsible for finding out the truth behind this mystery, but he put his hand on her shoulder and quietly said "We can't do anything for them now but pray". Charles himself was doing his best not to turn his nose away, the smell was so strong and deep, he could tell these bodies were only a few days old. "They're Daywalkers too..." Nyru added, unsure how his knees felt about the what his eyes were seeing. He had to look back over his shoulder for Claudia, she was his closest friend and right now, though they were parted since the incident in the throne room, she was who he wanted to comfort with. She had already stepped closer too, but now with a shadow-born bow and arrow. Nyru said "they must have been taken during the vampire's got in a fray with us" his voice shook, was it because of their attack that these people were taken?
"This is demonic though" Isabelle stated, suddenly fixated and her eyes narrowing on the ritual-esque pattern of bodies. Nyru shot her a gaze, "Don't you remember, those vampires left not a body behind after finishing with it. And like Adi has already described, this magic left behind crawls and festers...". There was a sudden sound of a twig breaking not so far into the fog. Everyone shot their gazes over, and the Therians armour could be heard clinking and scratching as they grasped for their weapons at their sides. No one was at ease here, anything, anywhere, at any time was enough to put the small army of wolves on edge. Everyone went silent, and Isabelle signalled for them to remain silent, whilst she carefully lit a small flame over her thumb. With a soft blow, she let the small flicker of a flame glide to the floor and form into a slender, small snake that crawled and slithered into the fog. As she anxiously watched it crawl off towards the sound, she couldn't stop thinking about what Adi said, Isabelle wasn't any academic on Occulas, but she wondered if that eye was anything to do with one of the cults that are found in the wilderness.
Then the flame got something, but it was snuffled out straight away, instantly alerting the Occult group leader as she raised her eye brows and gawked. Charles noticed too, and raised an arm, instantly being followed by a wave of his men behind him unsheathing their weapons. The Occult members, drew their own, and Nyru grasped his, knocking the blade in the air, whipping the blade carefully so it would curl. He grasped the blade between his fingers and te hilt of his weapon as the small blades divided. "Stay behind me you two" Nyru whispered, looking to both Adi and Claudia, he felt it his responsibility to keep them alive, no matter what is waiting for them. No matter how scared he felt. But they had to survive this, whatever horrific event waited for them, cus the feeling that crept on them earlier was sure as hell not for no reason. He had to survive this if he was to see Laxion again.
And then, suddenly, a purple glowing wall made of magic, like glass, ignited from the spot Isabelle's fire was exstinguished. It stretched and crawled around them as fast as lightning, surrounding the entire small army like a dome. Then from around the edge, figures emerged as the fog receded from the magical barrier, figures in dull robes, black with silver or purple patterns barely noticeable in the embroidery. Their hands were glowing, empowering the barrier, and at the same time Nyru was filled with shock and fear as the bodies before them began to breath. Their rotting lungs forced air out of whatever was left of their mouths, gurgling like they were strangling until it eased. The ones on the floor rose up, those ensnared on the wooden poles ripped free as they all looked at Nyru, Adi, Claudia and the others. They seemed easy to deal with, but it was the slowly gathering crowd of cultists all around them that was worrying. They were spread all around the dome on the other side, and behind them, as the fog vanished and revealed more of the city, more corpses were limping and stumbling behind them, looking small and weak compared to the towering demons that followed, wielding great weapons of their own, a few of them tall brutes made of muscle, others made of fallen skeletons that had been used to make the demon body stronger.
From behind the dome, a maniacal laughter could be heard from one of the cultists holding a large scythe, and he cried with a dark, compelling tone "... Darkness!... Has fallen!!!".

Squeezing her eyes shut, she wasn't sure how much longer she could stand there before she lost what little food she had in her stomach already. The smell she was sure would haunt her for a while. Zuriel did his best to attempt to calm her but it was of little help. Even Charles reached out to her and comforted her in a way.
Nodding she gave him a weak smile. "Yes...I'll be sure to do that, but finding out what that mark is will also help and make sure they're deaths aren't in vain...."
So focused on Charles on the moment and keeping the her stomach in places where it should be, Adi didn't notice what the others were doing really. Not until a hushed tense silence hung over them and she looked about to see Nyru and Isabelle tense and quiet like the rest of the daywalkers and werewolves among them. Further more something was telling Nyru that she and Claudia needed to be guarded. The gypsy wasn't going to argue about staying behind him either.
At the sudden explosion of magic and eerie dark magic at that as it washed over her already sensitive sense, Adi flinched slightly while staring bewildered and tense as the rest of them. "What..." she breathed uncertain of what was happening. But she got her answer quickly as people emerged and none to friendly looking either. And right along with them were the corpses of people rotting and long since dead; even the once before them began to raise with artificial life.
"...necromancy....again..." she breathed horrified and disgusted by it, but she knew she was the best chance to end the horde. Just as Zuriel did and he surged to the surface with ease and the glow in Adi's eyes proof of that. Then demons began to wander in, their presence she remembered from her first and last encounter with Zoltan. But when those words screamed out shocked Adi.
Choking on her own breath, she shook where she stood even with Zuriel holding her firmly in place, Adi mentally was on her knees. "...darkness is coming..." she breathed out, repeating what she had foretold in her drawing of the taru cards before freeing Nyru and Claudia with the help of Isabelle. "...and its here..."

Claudia Vesslia Nyru was fully prepared with his helmet preventing the smell from getting to him. The others just had to hold their breath until they pass out or the bodies could be cremated right away. Isabelle muttered through the slits of her manicured fingers that Adi's assumptions added up. The sibling made an terrifying analogy that applied to them all as her brother shook his head in distraught. Surely, sympathy would be shown to these poor souls as the group attempts to send them to the other side. Whether it be Heaven, Hell, or Purgatory will be decided by their actions performed by them through out their life. And what a short probably unfulfilled life it was. Charles comforted the gypsy and assisted that the holy word would appease them. Claudia lowered her head in respect, saying a small humble testimony in her mind, before attending to Nyru's negative comment. They were indeed Daywalkers so did that mean the cultist that were responsible only target that race? Also, this all happened during the battle with Dracula's son which was only a day along, but had been occurring for weeks on end.
The dark magic investing the bodies was detrimental and left behind elaborate swirled markings on their decaying flesh. Claudia wanted to transfer them to graves as soon as possible so they didn't have to look at them anymore, but that would have to wait. An echoing snap was conjured from deep in the fog and it startled everyone as they gripped their weapons. Of course she was a step ahead but who was she to boast, at a time like this, in front of the deceased. The sound a breathing was inaudible and the dead silence that had once consumed this land was back again. Not even the wind dared to disturb the Therians and their counterparts. Isabelle had a trick up her sleeve that would enable them to investigate the sound without going towards it. She summoned a flame that fluttered to the ground without extinguishing and transformed into the shape serpent. It slither away into the dense white void, its light glowing every dimmer.
Claudia was relieved when the flame had found its target and thought they were successful, but that wasn't the case. The flame was annihilated which forced the prince to ready his army under any circumstances. Nyru's blade didn't glimmer because there was no sunlight in this forsaken land and no hope if they failed. He protected the two women and Claudia desperately wanted to apologize and tell him how much he meant to her but that would have to wait too. All of them had to survive for one reason or another. She couldn't imagine dying and a messenger telling Ruby the depressing news. The archer stung her bow and pulled it back raising it just above Nyru's head so when she shot it would avoid him.
A glowing purple wall surrounded them from the spot where the snake had died. It curved over them, concealing them inside a fortress which was most likely was inescapable. Robbed men that commissioned the dome fazed through the walls on all sides. Each robe was altered silently to either show rank or for style wise, but who cares. Its obvious that they were the culprits and now they were going to pay. Necromancy was bestowed on the corpses, even the ones of the post joined in by command of the rotting cultist. Their gasping breaths sickened her and she couldn't wait to plunge an arrow into their hearts, if the organs still remained that is. The fog lifted from what she could see through the transparent dome. Although, the sight was more horrific that she could image. Zombies limped towards them and flowing behind was demons wielding weapons. Different varieties of the hell spawn, large and small, and full of harmful intentions.
One more robbed assailant revealed himself, he could be the leader because of the arsenal he was equipped with, and spoke menacingly. Claudia turned towards him and without hesitation said, "The darkness had fallen, but the shadows do not obey!" She launched her arrow aiming for his forehead the was hidden within the baggy hood.

Nyru Statem From shadows We'll descend upon the world Take back what you stole From shadows
((i apologise for my absence!))
More and more, the cultists and their demons and their undead walked or tumbled into the dome from outside. "We're trapped!" Isabelle cursed, Nyru added "more like surrounded, we're never trapped...". But right there and then, after the cry of darkness added had murmured her own recognition and Claudia let loose one of her arrows. The lead cultists swung her scythe past his face and the shadowy around flung off to hit one of the zombies walking past him in the ear, and it didn't flinch as it past through the dome. The cultist laughed some more and stressed "None of you... not a single one of you understand the importance of our scheme! Not all is good! Not all is perfect... the light above us WILL be exposed to the true darkness! THE BETRAYAL THAT IS THE GREATEST TRUTH!!!". And with that, without a moment to breath, the demons lashed forwards, swinging their fists and giant blades and maces around them causing undead to fly into the sky as others couldn't keep up behind. Many of the cultists stayed out of reach, commanded the demons and the undead from behind.
"hyah!" Nyru shouted, turning around in a full circle as he built the momentum to swing her snake-sword and let the whip-like chain of blades strike the few zombies before them, as he did so, it was like the shadows around him turned into purple lightning that attached to his blade and lash out at the victims on the other end. "We need a plan!" Isabelle cried, reading her bracelets as she pinches her thumbs and fingers together, two flaming, shadowy snakes following the rhythm of her wrists.
Above the darkness and the shame Above the torture and the pain Above the ridicule and hate Above the binding of our fate When it started All we wanted was a chance to live our lives Now in darkness Taking everything we want and we will rise

Still in awe of the numbers of the dead and the numbers of the demons present, she was simply staring horror-struck at it all. Till Isabelle cursed about being trapped and sure enough as Adi began to look around them, they were...surrounded as Nyru stated and corrected his sister. Out numbered...out maned, and certainly not with the natural strength the demons had. They were in a very serious situation right then, more so then they ever had been before.
Claudia loosed an arrow, her aim for the leader it would seem, but much to the gypsy's surprise it did nothing. The leader still yelled on about his scheme and something about the betrayal of darkness. The masses came at them, all that could attempting to keep them back, but Isabelle's cry for a plan was right. They needed one, or time to develop one, and looking at her hands, Adi could see the beginnings of shimmers just beneath her pale flesh.
"We can give them time...the darkness has a weakness...and that is us as we've seen many times before Dear Adi..." spoke Zuriel in her head, urging her on to stand up and fight like the many time before.
So nodding, the gypsy ran forward, past Nyru as he cleared a way with his snake like blade. "We have one!" came her loud answer as she fiddled with her gold hoop in her ear. At the same time the wings of light slowly but steadily came from her back; fuller and more 'real' then they had been before. Though transparent slightly still, the greater lower portion of those ground sweeping wings were now 'physical' and could be touched. "It'll buy us time but not in-defiantly!"
A single large thrust of her wings and Adi was up in the air, missing a strike from a demon by a hair's width if felt like. A few more flaps and she was high above them, the golden hoop earring in her hand. Breathing a steady breath onto the medal it fogged slightly by the warmth while from her lips came the same dust like light she wielded many times before.
"This will work Adi..." Zuriel reassured as mentally she was weary of how it would.
Trusting in the angel that had never lied to led her astray, Adi flung the ring out and mid air as it began to fall back to the ground it expanded. Much like the trick she had done back some time ago, however much larger then that. Falling gradually it grew larger and large and eventually large enough to encompass and cover the entire caravan of wolfs, day walkers and the Occult members that remained. The medal ring it the dark earth and in a flash of golden and white light a barrier much like the one she used with Zoltan was resurrected. The demons were blown away from it with a single touch or burned asunder. A simple nick from it to the un-dead sent their souls to the skis and to burn their cursed flesh and bone. For now her friends and their people were safe away from attack. Each strike on the golden wall sent a slight pain through her, but Adi managed as she landed before the barrier once more this time with her lance like sword at the ready.
"...the sun always burns away the shadow and the fog..." came her words in reply to the dark leaders own; Adi's voice in union with Zuriel's like the many time prier. "You're kind and your ways are not welcome here...those that defile the earth of the rising sun," she said further, speaking firmly and seriously though not yelling the level of calmness was just as chilling if she had been yelling.
It was then that Adi felt the twinge of pain, not from the barrier, but from her shoulder. The shoulder that the Prince's dark mark had been...where it had been removed from. The mark gone the pain was still there, and the gypsy and both angel couldn't only think of one reason...it was coming back.

Claudia Vesslia Her arrow was easily deflected and aimed towards the ear of a zombie that didn't feel pain. She retorted in disbelief as the leader monologues about their scheme, if only she knew what it was. 'The light above will be exposed to true darkness', did they mean the Heavens? The blonde would have tired to decipher the 'betrayal that is the greatest truth, although at the moment she needed to keep the rampaging demons at bay. Nyru damaged the front lines of the departed, while the demons unintentionally helped, and Isabelle resummoned her fire serpents. They were all tossing ideas around in their heads to create a diversion when Adi provided her light. Lifting into the air like a goddess, her earring served as a barrier, incinerating all that came near. The magically light would only protect them for a certain around of time, however, the gypsy was effected by each hit. She'll be weakened in no time and the shield will disappear leaving all of them defenseless.
Claudia launched another dark arrow towards a boil infested demon wielding an ax that had just fazed through the cultist dome. The demon was smarter than she anticipated because it blocked the arrow with the ax and the arrow ricocheted off the metal before being absorbed into the transparent, oozing purple walls. Her shadows feed the dome expanding it and pulsating more darkness through it. She noticed a lower rate cultist twinge from the power. Now that she thought about it, darkness can't truly be controlled and the same goes for the light. These elements have been here since the dawn of time and no one could every understand their true nature. The wind, the earth, the skies, and waters know the secrets and these rotting men didn't appreciate these minute beauties. The grotesque demon raised its ax above its head as it got ready to slice Claudia in half. Snapping back to reality, she dodged just in time and pierced an arrow right through his temple which spewed out puss and blood.
The smell alone from that one demon made her want to gag, but she had to maintain herself. She had a plan, but it was risky because the plan was more like a theory. Claudia moved inward towards her comrades and said, "Listen up, I have a plan. Although, I'm only twenty percent sure that it will succeed. She need to feed this dome with shadowmancy forcing it to expand. It's kind of like a bubble and a bubble can only remind for so long. When my shadow arrow flew into the walls, one of the cultist could handle its power. Eventually, all of them will reach their limitations and we'll be free. The catch is that we're empowering them too. If you want to go ahead with this, Isabelle, Nyru, and I will be located in the middle of the group, while the others including Adi ward them off. Does that sound like a deal?" Claudia paused momentarily.

Nyru Statem From shadows We'll descend upon the world Take back what you stole From shadows
As they all struggled for a plan... some way of hiving them the upper hand all hope seemed lost. They were left staring into each other's eyes for hope, and just when all seemed lost, Adi sparked one idea. She called otu, and Nyru swung his head to see what she had in mind, she said it would buy them time and Isabelle double-took between approaching demons and zombies as well as Adi. She didn't say anything but nodded to Nyru and agreed, who then looked at Claudia, where they all thought Adi should go ahead.
Suddenly, golden light conjured like dust, a beautiful essence of life and sound that weaved to form wings, almost complete and still half in the fabric of the dimensions between and afar. The others took out the immediate enemies, spilling blood and gore upon the ground, but then a thrum hit the ground and light surrounded them. Nyru had to stop what he was doing for a moment, when Adi unleashed her power, protecting them from the monstrosities that sought to rip their bones from their flesh. He felt her energy, it was so similar to being in the middle of a dream, yet so different at the same time. His soul felt lifted, happiness, memories, and then the feeling of overwhelming good health and strength took him back to the battle. "Nyru, no time to dilly-dally" Isabelle stated, swaying her serpents from side to side keeping her eyes on the other side of the barrier. He had missed it all, missed the demons that did touch it, the dead that did turn to dust, catch fire, get vanquished by divine light. He wondered if anyone else could feel it, this monumental power.
Meanwhile, Clauida was realising her own plan. Her voice caught Nyru's attention, finally back, able to function without being distracted by his thoughts. In his head he could onyl repeat "20 percent?!" like the idea was crazy. But what she had planned was a good idea, and Isabelle even shook her head as if to ponder the crazy thought and then put it into action inside her own head. "This had better work" she finally admitted, growing cautious as she saw Adi taking the pounding from the shield. Nyru came into the scene and said "Charles, defend us like Claudia said, we'll do our best to get this done quickly, even if it doesn't work it will still give them a pounding. Claudia, Issy... summon the shadows and follow me!". And by that, he meant using their Queen's symbol. Nyru got into the large area in the centre of all the soldiers, passing some of the Occult fighters that have split up to spread around them equally amongst the small army. Standing firmly, he using his finger two fore fingers to draw in purple aura before him, an ankh overlaying that of a holy cross. When it was complete he pulled his fist back and didn't release it, that way he could continue pulling in all the shadows from around them. Together, all 3 of them could put their energies together, usually, only one person would be able to make a gigantic, colossal fist made of solid darkness... but imagine what the three of them could conjure. Charles, meanwhile, ordered his men, but kept a close eye on the god-like Adi who was soaring above, raining down the divine light of the heavens. If she were to need his help, he wouldn't hold back from going all fang and claws to aide her.

 ━━☽Ɍυɼ'Дɖɩқą Дɖɖąɧąɼɼą☾━━
The shield was holding without issues and without any visible weakness as this points. Thus far she wasn't having any issues, the enemies scattered and disintegrated by her magic and power while keeping those with her safe. It wouldn't last and she was quiet glad when Claudia announced that she had a plan. Looking over her shoulder at the barrier and the others on the other side, Nyru and on the others seemed to agree to it...not that Adi fully understood it, she trusted them.
Nodding her agreement to the plan and doing her part, the angelic gypsy took to the air once more, attempting to hold back and scattered the enemies that would thwart the plan. Her lance like sword directing beams of light at the demons and wandering corpses killing them all in decent portions. At this height she was better protected and less likely to be taken down by the enemy while still dealing plenty of damage. Which was seen as more demons and magic uses seemed to notice and starting firing what they could at her.
Adi didn't mind this, as she served more of distraction again what Nyru and the others were doing.
"...hurry up...I can't hold this barrier for forever...." she breathed out though no one could hear her this high except Zuriel inside her own head.
Then a sharp pain in the her back and the back of her skull caused the gypsy in the sky to cry out and drop a few yards in the sky. Managing to recover quickly enough she was never hit by any of the arrows and throwing forms to magic. Rather her focus was on a decent sized demon with a war hammer in its hands slamming it down on the golden particle wall that was her barrier. Another strong slam further knocked Adi from the sky as the stress on the barrier was pain to her mind and body. The demon was persistent and strong but she couldn't take the time to bother with him as she guarded the others as needed and planned.
"HURRY" she yelled in that harmonized voice of hers and Zuriel's.
Then a ball of dark magic struck her in the left shoulder further causing her to fall from the sky and to given an outcry of pain and anger.
