Mintaka's patrols had proved that tonight would be a quiet night. It wasn't a bad thing, seeing as she wasn't much of a fighter. In fact it was fantastic! A break from fighting, so perhaps this time she could just sit...and enjoy the stars.
Jumping down from the roof she had been using as a vantage point, she laced her hands behind her back, strolling gently among the quiet street with a thoughtful and sincere gaze.
No signatures, no power sources. It was a blessing in sight.
"Such a pretty night~" She was feeling pretty happy, nothing could get her down right?

"It is, do you think it'll rain?" Chimed in a voice from behind her.
He'd be hard to see but glowing in the dark were two green eyes, very low to the ground. Attached to them was a small, furry black cat with curly hair and a very apprehensive posture. He was looking at the sky instead of Mintaka, curious and worried about the subject he'd previously pressed. He was horrified that it might storm before he had a chance to get home, even though it was clearly a beautiful night without a cloud in sight.

Mintaka startled, swiveling her body up defensively (mostly her face, she had a rep with her face) and looked through her arms to where the small voice had come from.
At first she was imagining it, but she started to spot a pair of green eyes, lower to the ground then a human....as the light passed overhead, it started to show the outline of a very small animal, and since it spoke...she could only deduce it was a cat.
But by it's side, it seemed more like a kitten. And she was in love instantly, and had to resist the urge to rush over to the cute little thing and cradle it in her arms.
She lowered herself to the ground, resting her arms on her bent knee's and laying her chin on top of them.
"It's too pretty of a night for the stars to be hidden by the clouds." She held her hand out, "Good evening Guardian Cat, Are you here to enjoy the stars as well?"

Thetis watched her carefully as she approached, trying not to jump away when she leaned down but found himself unable to stop himself. Little legs pranced backward only to pause his motion with one of his front legs lifted up. Green eyes looked at the senshi, and the small guardian cat took a deep breath before hesitantly walking over to her.
He investigated her hand, happily rubbing his face against it once he determined it was safe to. If he could simply merge his face into her head, his life would be complete! A light, rumbling purr could be heard from the depths of his belly as he found is happy place. This was good, this was great, this was heavenly. He was half way between imagining Psyche's hand on his head when a different voice pushed its way into his mind.
It wasn't Psyche. Of course she wouldn't pet him like this.
Maybe this senshi would love him though? He sure hoped so!
"P... please! Do call me Thetis," he said with pride, hoping she'd call him by his name. "The stars... are familiar."
