A text message would be sent out to all available Hunters. That especially, especially meant new trainees. Text from Zoe All available Hunters are asked to help dispatch the remaining Class 5-7 titans at highlighted locations at the training fields tomorrow at 7:00 am. You will be grouped into friendly teams. A monetary compensation will be given for full Hunters who attend, starting at $250 for each successful titan dispatched. Please bring your own snacks. At exactly 7:00 am on the training fields there was a whole pile of equipment - titan gear - just dumped in a pile, but no leading Hunters to be seen. OOC Just drop your Hunter by and assume it is the training fields the next day!

Gale arrived bright and early to the training fields looking as though he had just woken up.
(Spoiler: he had).
He did, however, have a bag of what looked like chocolate chip cookies in one hand.

Alistaire, on the other hand, was standing there looking as pristine as ever, gloves in place over his hands, his trainee coat neatly pressed and ironed, and one of the Styrofoam to-go cups from the Deus Ex Machina cafeteria that was filled with coffee (black, no sugar or cream).
Beside him, Ian stared stoically ahead, hands in his pockets, dark circles beneath his eyes.

Arland arrived at the training field bright and early, likely because he hadn't actually bothered with going to sleep after receiving that text. It was alright, though, he'd gotten a small nap earlier that day and he was wide awake...
Or at least more awake than he would've been if he'd bothered scraping for a few hours of sleep.
He had used that time awake wisely, however, putting together a snack pack the likes of which he was certain Ceres would have been proud of. The text had said to bring your own snacks, after all...

It wasn't so much the monetary reward that lured him, but after all the "training" he and Sherry had been doing involving titans, he liked to think he was somewhat used to this by now. Also he might have secretly enjoyed fighting titans at some point.
And so, despite the early arrival time, Jake was already at the training field, eyeing the equipment. Ahhh, memories.

Dakota cheerfully came to the field, already awake at the hour because..well BECAUSE OF THINGS.
---
Noemi rushed to meeting spot, coat still half on and looking around. She tried to rub the sleep from her eyes and was thankful at least her hair was always a curly mess because...she didn't have time to brush it.

Stormy wasn't much better off looking than before, hands stuffed in pockets, studying the equipment with intense and unnatural interest rather than looking at anyone else. 7 am used to be so hard for her to get up; now it was almost laughable, given her erratic sleep patterns.
She did not want to be there, but duty overrode everything else.

Evan was always up this early in the morning. He hadn't seen the text go out because he almost never checked his phone--the damn thing went off so often that he couldn't keep up with it anyway--but he figured he was already there, so he might as well stay.

Melvin was tired, and wasn't actually happy to be up this morning, but he had heard about training and he also heard about compensation. By now, he knew the value of money.
His snacks were just what he grabbed from the vending machine, which equated to Trident Gum, a bag of Jalapeno kettle chips, and a bottle of water. This was breakfast. Considering what they served in the cafeteria, he felt he was getting about the same nutritional value.

Jack, startlingly, did not have his ubiquitous cup of coffee with him (though everything else was about the same, from the clean look to the just-want-to-punch-him morning person attitude). Rather, he was biting into a bagel as he arrived, pleasantly surprised with the idea of getting to tackle titans again.
Last time he had gotten to fire a laser beam; maybe he'd get to out do himself this time.
He had to do a double take, though; he could've sworn he saw two Stormies.

The lure of money was a strong one. Strong enough to draw Peyton out of the dorms. She slipped through the, looking for familiar faces, and ended up heading for Stormy, who looked a little better than she had the previous time she'd seen the mist hunter. "Hey," she greeted, smiling softly as she took up post beside the other shorty. Right about then she realized there was someone there that hadn't been for quite some time. Someone she had been surprised to realize she'd been worried about. "Long time no see, Evan." He appeared to be all in one piece.

Evan was torn between keeping an eye on Stormy and checking out the pile of stuff littering the training field. He hadn't seen Peyton's approach, and his posture stiffened at the sound of her voice. Gir snarled, low and threatening, in the back of his mind. Down, boy. "Long enough, I suppose," he replied rigidly. He pointedly didn't look at her. Or Stormy. Ol-j-man because everyone gets a quote

Being up in the morning was not something usual for Leon, but it did make him raise an eye to see others making the attempt to rise and shine. Well, for money he was sure they were willing to do a lot, himself included as he sauntered up and purposely dropping the bulk of his frame on Dakotas side.
"Want some beef jerky?"
Because why not.

Noemi also noticed Stormy, nervously playing with her hands. It seemed the girl would be flanked soon and there was no way to really approach her. Instead she looked around for a friendly face...like Oliver.
Or Milo.....But not Jeremy.
Her gaze did land on Jack and she stiffened because THE GIANT WAS HERE....and she did her best impression of a tree.
She just stood there and looked away.

Dakota grunted as Leon was suddenly on him.
"Jesus, did you eat the cow before you came?" he reached out to snag a piece of the jerky, and took a bite. "how's it hanging beefcake?"
All the beef jokes for you Leon. All off them.
