He looked like a cowboy. Cowboys were interesting figures in history she mused, and she wondered if his appearance would led itself to his weapon and the answers that might be given.

Calling Harland in with the request/demand to bring his weapon in a golem along, Solia had chosen bacon as a snack to offer.

Because somehow that seemed a good choice for a cowboy ranger type person.

Coyote had flirted with every passing lady he'd seen, and Harland had apologized promptly after every single one. They'd eventually devolved into wrestling in a corner somewhere, until Harland and Coyote came to a truce that revolved mainly around Coyote would behave (more or less) provided Harland wouldn't intervene.

For all intents and purposes, Coyote inhabited the Golem body of a Kishi: he looked remarkably like a man just slightly too attractive to be possible. Maybe he was just a model who groomed himself too much, who could say? Harland could say: he'd seen the Hyena face hidden under Coyote's hair at the back of his head, the grim gnash of teeth smiling, the bright eyes. Kishi charmed women and then devoured them, tore them to pieces.

Of course, Coyote wasn't interested in the devouring at the moment. It was Coyote who entered the room first, smelling of rose water and cloves, a vest open over bare skin.

"So nice to meet you, at last," Coyote greeted Solia, offering one hand out as if aiming to take Solia's in his and kiss the knuckles in greeting. Harland watched the scene with a look on his face that could have easily been mistaken for hangover nausea.

"Forgive my manners today, it's tough to watch him... mince about," Harland said, reaching a hand out to shake Solia's firmly, should she allow it. "He looks so normal, it's like a kid in a candy store," Harland said, with a sigh, running a hand through his sunny, wavy hair. Bacon seemed like a welcome escape from his babysitting Coyote.

At least Coyote was Solia's problem, now.

Oh she liked this golem. She liked him a lot in the way she liked Llyr. Very pretty and she just wanted to touch their face a bit because it was kinda creepy how good they looked to the point she wondered if they were real.

"A pleasure, trust me. If I'd had known two cuties were headed my way I'd have brought a good camera for a quality selfie with you both!" She joked, unfazed by the kiss to her hand or the handshake. Isra did the same thing with ladies at times. Men as well but then, Isra also gave out hugs at random. Solia had just gotten used to such random reactions.

"Coffee is on the back table, I have cookies here if you'd like any!" They were plain sugar cookies. If anything, At least Solia had attempted to feed her guests.

"And don't fret about manners. I'm playing QnA today so... I get to be nosy. Hardly polite on premise you know but I do try... speaking of which-" She sat, motioning for them to do the same. "How about a breif intro? Name, species, and any self info you want to share!" She already had her pen and paper out.

Coyote used to love the thrill of the chase, convincing women to follow him back-- and then ending them, pretty much. It was still thrilling here, the chasing bit, even if he knew ending was off limits.

It wasn't so bad. He'd come to terms with being Harland's partner in combat, though he wasn't always thrilled with his vessel. They were a far cry from the terrible relationship they'd had at first. Coyote laughed, amused by the idea of a selfie with the three of them. "Maybe you should just invite us out another time, then, and we can take all... sorts of pictures," he suggested.

Harland was red, and massaging his temples. The normally sunny, calm Hunter felt like a babysitter. coyote looked right at him, as if challenging him to say anything to the contrary, amused by Harland's discomfort. "Think I'll help m'self to some coffee, then," he said, standing and heading to the table, preparing a cup very, very slowly.

Coyote was already launching into an intro, more than thrilled to talk about himself. "Coyote. Demonic in nature, a Kishi was what they called me. If I told you what I did to the beautiful women who followed me home, you wouldn't want to take a selfie with me anymore-- unless you're a little insane, which I could appreciate," he said, teasing. He had a sly smile on.

He knew he was only a golem, knew it wasn't his life back, but it was still fun to pretend like this vacation was never going to end. He leaned back, his vest falling open over the bare chest, and stretched in his chair, smiling still. Like a satisfied cat. He didn't show her the face hidden under the back of his long, dark hair.

To her credit, Solia didn't blush, but rather laughed it off. She'd dealt enough with weapons who flirted that she found it more endearing than anything. "How does dinner at nice cafe sometime sound? Though depending on the pictures we might end up thrown out of where we go. But that would be for another time."

It was still an offer. If anything it would be nice to sort of 'make friends' and just attempt to have a normal meal- though it did go into that odd territory of 'you already had a boyfriend sorta of even though you weren't sure how'.

"Now Coyote- an interesting name by the way, and like I said, the selfies can come at a later date- Okay you can seriously stop being pretty now and distracting Zanth does that too." She sighed, head hitting her notepad. Boys. Abs. Faces. Males. She liked to look.

"God help me- What is your first memory and what can you recall as your first deep emotion- what drove you to become what you are now if you think you still have such values?"

While Harland was still away, Coyote leaned in, as if conspiratorially. He whispered, his voice low, hand held up beside his mouth: "On our way here, he tried to beat me, you know," he said. He didn't look upset, or concerned. He looked like it was hilarious, and like he'd gotten exactly what he wanted. Coyote leaned back again as Harland approached, the Death Hunter's expression dark and more than a little suspicious of Coyote. He sat down wordlessly, though, and tried not to pay much attention to the exchange. "It's a date," Coyote replied, positively beaming. The grumpier Harland got, the more Coyote seemed thrilled with himself. "I don't mind getting kicked out, so long as we make up for lost time somewhere else," he said, looking pointedly at Harland as he finished his sentence.

It was bait, but for once, Harland wasn't biting. He took a very serious sip of his coffee.

Harland would not be taking Coyote anywhere, once Coyote was back in his head. Or wherever, really. Point being, the only way Coyote was going on any dates at all would be if he walked his own damn self.

"Thanks, Solia," Coyote practically purred, his gold eyes narrowing as he smiled at her, pleased with the compliment. Coyote laughed, and it sounded edged; it was easy to remember that he wasn't quite what he pretended to be, when he sounded like that. "Look all you want," he said, "I don't mind if you touch, too-- it's for research, after all, wouldn't you say?" he asked, his devious smile only expanding. He ran a finger down his abs, trailing it along the edge of his pants. He laughed.

"Be decent, she's workin' an' she doesn't need to be harassed," Harland scolded him, finally coaxed into biting.
Coyote smiled pointedly at Harland, looking as though he'd finally gotten exactly what he wanted.

"Shame. Solia, forgive my advances," Coyote said, with a shrug of one shoulder. He leaned in, clasping his hands together and leaning on the surface in front of him. "I remember... not a lot, to be honest. I remember something dark, and musty. The sound of metal. I remember hearing a voice, singing a song. I don't remember the words. It sounded like a lullaby," Coyote said. He waved a hand, dismissively, like it didn't much matter what he remembered.

"My first emotion, on the other hand? That, I remember perfectly. I was starving," he said, "and I still am." His smile made it clear he didn't mean he wanted some of that bacon.

Solia looked back and forth between Harland and Coyote. Tension so think you could cut it and slather it on like butter- which actually sounded weird so her mind shut down tension butter thoughts and went towards better ones. Like yes she would touch.

As in pay Coyote on the head.

"I think I can resist. Jason is my man- he might get jealous touching other people's weapons. Or, maybe Zanth would? I dunno. Let us not tempt fate hrm?"

Writing the information down, Solia got the impression that perhaps she was asking the wrong sorts of questions.
"Starving for what?" She grinned. Ready to make a joke. "Oh, and a question for you both- what would you say makes you a good team?"
