Remember that friend I told you about? Well, as I edited in that post, she's had the baby.
She believes she's experiencing post-partum depression now...does anyone have any information on it, links, anything? I'd really like to be able to help her out.

How long ago did she have the baby and exactly what symptoms is she having?
If she's crying for no apparent reason and feeling a bit anxious, that's a normal side-effect of the hormones going away after birth and what they so cutely dub, "the baby blues."
Now if it's much more serious, like she's suicidal, having thoughts of hurting the baby, and it's been more then a month, she may need to see a doctor about it and get on medication to help even herself back out. There's nothing to be ashamed of and if she needs the help, make sure she gets it. She may not go get it on her own and you might need to give her a push.
I can't provide any links, but I hope even that helps. Feeling a little down and crying, normal. Feeling suicidal and having obsessive hurtful thoughts, not.

She had the baby over winter break, which is late December early January. I don't know the symptoms she's having.
