21. You locate a perfectly round, enormous boulder. It is exactly what Never Idle needs--but you're going to need help to uproot and move it. Help required. Success!
Through Your Eyes tossed her head with a snort and stomp. There was no malice or irritation to her actions though, simply energy. She had agreed to help the legendary on a whim. She wasn't the helpful type and tended towards the irreverent, but even she respected the wisdom and power of a legendary.
That was why she was wondering around the Swamp right now searching for objects to bring back. Her bright eyes roved across the ground and for a long while she saw nothing of any use.
Then she spotted it, the perfect boulder. Eyes narrowing with determination and a confident smile baring her sharp teeth, she charged the boulder to try and push it free, but it would budge. Again and again she tried to remove it from the Swamp's hold, but it wouldn't come free. Irritated with her failure, she huffed quietly, staring at the boulder.

 "You need help," a gruff voice stated from the sidelines. The Totoma had been quietly watching her attempt to the move the boulder and it was only once she had finally given up that he stepped forward to assist. "Help where you can and guide me to where you want it." Without waiting for a reply, he moved into position, wedging his horns against the base of the boulder. He dug in his hooves and started to push, muscles in his neck and legs straining with effort. The boulder started to shift.

She snorted and her tone was acerbic, but she was smiling though it wasn't particularly warm, "Of course I can help. I'm hardly as helpless as I might seem."
She positioned her shoulder adjacent to his horns and dug her hooves in before she began to push.
Her voice was light and nonchalant, betraying little of the strain she was putting the rest of her body through, when she continued, "I have to bring this boulder back to Never Idle. Once it is free, surely the task will become much easier."

Amorpheous super short phone reply! Carry on your mission <3 He grunted once in reply, but his focus remained on the stubborn boulder. With their strength combined the rock was forced free, rolling over twice. Left Behind stayed with the doe, shoving the boulder to where this Never Isle wanted it. Then with a single nod, he left.

They rolled the rock back together in silence. Through Your Eye's biting tongue stayed by the fact that this unknown buck was helping her. Still, if he had not left so quickly and without any words, she would not have been able to help herself and likely would have teased and prodded just because it was in her nature. As it was, he left without a word so she was deprived of her fun.
30. You find an injured mouse. You can either retrieve it as a snack for Never Idle and his cranes (Success!) or you can rescue it. If you rescue it, post a link in THIS THREAD to the post and a note that it's for the mouse, to be entered into a drawing for a mouse!
Luckily it wasn't too long until she found something to play with. There was an injured mouse on the ground and when she approached it still tried to run from her. Bored, Through Your Eyes toyed with the little morsel until it was exhausted. At first she thought about bringing it back for Never Idle but looking at the pathetic thing, it seemed an insult to her hunting skill when she could easily bring him something more more substantial. So she picked the shivering thing up and foisted it upon a more caring kin who would probably take care of it. The thought made her snort, but to each their own.

26. Your nosy poking around has disturbed an angry old mare, who chases you off her land. You escape without incident.
Through Your Eyes scoured her surroundings for anything useful and found none. Any hiding spot for useful items, she would turn through, pushing foliage aside with hooves and nose. She had a ready smile and sharp comment for every kin she ran into until she accidentally tossed a sizable leaf into a mare's face. She wasn't rude enough to throw snark at the mare and add insult to injury, but she was laughing as she ran.

Some of the trees in the Swamp produce leaves as large as an animal hide. You find one now, but climbing up the roots and standing on your hindlegs to procure the perfect specimen is exhausting, and you're out of energy for the day. Try again tomorrow. Success!
When she finally slowed to a stop, Through Your Eyes was slightly winded, but she still had fight left in her body. She didn't pride herself on her physical strength for nothing. Loping through the trees and over roots at a steady pace it was not long before she had found the perfect leaf.
The particular leaf was difficult to watch. It required that she climb onto precariously tangled roots before rearing up on her hind legs to reach it. Straining up high, she cursed her lack of height for the struggle before finally grasping it delicately in her jaws and pulling it down.
She considered her days work and decided that she had done enough to warrant some rest for the night.
Day 1 Summary:

17. The jellyfish are migrating: a beautiful, luminescent, floating cloud of jellyfish high in the sky above you distracts you momentarily from your task.
The next day, Through Your Eyes started early. Early enough that when the jellyfish drifted through the sky migrating, glowing the faint morning light, she let herself watch them, eyes tracking their colors and their shifting shapes.

22. You thought you found the perfect branch--but it snaps cleanly in two when you try to move it. Argh!
It was while she was following the path of the jellyfish that she spotted the branch. Pulling her attention away from the floating beauties, she went back to work. Climbing up roots, she got into position to pull the branch down. A rearing stand and she had her jaws on the branch, but it snapped instead of breaking cleanly and showered her with leaves.
She shook herself clean with a stomp and moved on, leaving the offending branch behind.

14. A wonderfully lovely conch shell is nestled in the grass. It is strange to see this so far inland...
As she was stomping away from the tree, her usual graceful loping gate turned into the hoof-falls of an angry boar, she stepped on something that gave way with a loud crunch. Stepping back, she looked down and found that she had crushed a large shell of some sort. It was beautiful despite its broken state and she admired it's destruction for a second before moving on, leaving it behind in memory already.

When she saw another perfect branch, she tried not to get her hopes up. The last one had seemed perfect for her purposes and it had failed her. So this time when she reared up to grab the branch, she was ready. No leaves or dust in her eyes this time. She gave an annoyed huff as she stepped away, shaking her mane free of the stray branches and leaves that tangled there.

20. You stumble on a friend and get distracted talking (either invite someone in for a few posts, or use one of your other Kin or an NPC).
These tasks were starting to seem much more tedious than they had sounded before she had started looking for the items that the stag needed. Distracted, flippant toss of her head, she continued, but only because never let it be said that Through Your Eyes gave up.

Another kin wandered into the frame. She fixed Through Your Eyes with an irritated stare for a moment, then one sound - "tch" - and she turned back to what she had been doing. Foraging, apparently. Amorpheous two does who hate other kin walk into a bar...
